The above is from TOC. I will reserve my comments as talking about stupidity is a very sensitive thing in Singapore. Those interested in what Ravi Philemon wrote can google for the details. As a Singaporean, I am more concerned about the future of Singapore when its future is so dependent on fakes.
I have used and navigated through several banks and insurance websites. The experience is frustrating. One even hung after keying all the data, unable to proceed. I ended up buying the insurance from another agency. The thinking process or logic used in writing the software is strange, very third world.
While China is pouring out all the achievements and latest inventions in AI and high tech, Singapore's favourite signature is hawker centres and hawker food. This is painful truth. And Singapore is not learning AI and high tech from China, not even from second front runner America, but from....you guess it.

Anyone still remember that our Ms Vivian or the principled one is suppose to lead the smart nation initiative long time ago. Till today, am not sure whether we are a smart nation or a nation with not so smart people. To the papies, it is a sin to learn from China, as they have been putting out the narrative that China learn from us. It will be very "malu" to suddenly lack far behind China when we are suppose to be ahead of them. Basically the Indian are running Singapore when DBS was handed to them during pinky time, just look at all the top position held by them.
It is so frightening to see that whatever built by the first generation leaders and the pioneers are slipping away so quickly to fakes and foreigners.
Singapore's stupidity is legendary. After building a rich nation state, with trillions in the reserves, now open arms widely to invite foreigners to take over everything. We sweat blood and tears and foreigners stroll in, enjoy the fruits and called us stupid, telling us not happy move out, for them to move in.
Another word for integration is getting screwed.
Singapore news is all about COEs, mobility equipment fires and small mistakes of opposition MPs, lol.
