There's a time in the early 70s and 80s when Overseas
Chinese in SEA and as far as I know in Sinking Land when had strong
bonds with the PRCs and their descendents in China.

usually went back for visits or even quite regularly whence can afford
used to send back monies and other necessities back to China.
Understood
that at that time when China produced all their products even at
foodstuffs that they could eat themselves but they sting and scarifice
and exported them for the sake of earning revenvue for their MotherLand.

to make sure to strive hard and to rise up and not to be trodden down
again.

The PRCs are so determined to Rise again even with their National Anthem of Stand Up and Rise Again with a Militaric Theme.
They
do not want to be humilated again and strived the last fifth years to
be the World's now actually First World Econmy which they do not want to
claim as the White Scoundrels Green Eyes Monsters and their Doggies
Bananas would NOT be happy about it.
They knew that their BS Capitalists System had failed against the Socialists System.
Capitalists sponged on the masses of Slaves that had slogged for them and only the Top harvested all the benefits.
Those
who are at the top with those doggies that are their balls carriers
with their Status quos of wealthy and luxurious lifes would NOT wanted
to be down and removed.
That's why they kept prograting their BS Demo CRAZY and what's nonsense human rights.
The
Chinese Civilisation shall always remind their young of their past
history of their years of humuilations and thus shall be ingrained into
them not to forget.
Unlike those who slothed that they had arrived and shall diminish in the future.
Even when China were poor, they alsp helped those even poorer than them like the Africans.
That's why they had so much respects and trusts for them.
The
White Barabians are only Robbers and Murderers who had lived their past
luxurious on the loots of the coloured peoples that they robbed and
stole.

The failing of the democratic system and the rise of the socialist system, (called communism by the USA and the West), particularly in China, is making the USA and the West really paranoid, nervous and fearful. That is why the whole Anglo-Saxon White clique are banding together with all hands to the pump, to save the USA hegemony. Whatever is needed and dictated by the USA, they just follow, even willing to sacrifice their country for the interest of the USA.
How could a democratic system, always touted and gloated to be the best system and putting socialism in the dust, now be playing second fiddle to socialism in terms of innovation and development, that is even excelling the collective West? The usual narrative that China is stealing their technology no longer holds water, with China excelling in areas that the USA and the West have not even been able to touch China. A leader in innovation does not need to steal from one clearly falling behind. That is just like arguing that putting the cart before the horse will make the cart run faster.
India is one example of why democracy is a hindrance to its attempt to move forward faster. With all the rules and regulations and a minefield of encumbrances inherited from the British, nothing is able to move forward smoothly. And they always like to tout that India is the biggest democracy in the world, trying to push its potential to no avail.
It really looks imminent that Trump is going to destroy the USA, an agenda he failed to fulfill during his first term. Will 47th be the last President of the USA instead of the 45th, both Trump's legacy. This might be the seventh and most massive and destructive bankruptcy for Trump, the bullshitter, fraudster and the first President elected on a criminal record.
Oh, by the way, there was one social media post warning the USA voters that Trump may get rid of Presidential elections in the USA going forward. Now, will that mean Trump will rule USA for life or is that how the USA will end? As I say before, I love conspiracy theories that sometimes come true.
