Pompeo pushing Asean states to fight China

Pompeo said it was time for Southeast Asian governments to reconsider their own relationship with firms working in the sea.

"Don't just speak up, but act," he told the 10 foreign ministers of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) during an online summit.

"Reconsider business dealings with the very state-owned companies that bully ASEAN coastal states in the South China Sea.

"Don't let the Chinese Communist party walk over us and our people."....The United States this year has escalated "freedom of navigation" operations in waters claimed by China, including bringing two aircraft carriers into the region for the first time since 2014 and lifting submarine deployments and surveillance flights....

But the Philippines already said last week it would not follow the US lead because it needed Chinese investment, even as a fresh dispute between the two nations over Scarborough Shoal - one of the region's richest fishing grounds - hangs over the talks....Indonesia's foreign minister Retno Marsudi cautioned the United States and China on Tuesday (Sep 8) not to entangle her country in their regional struggle for influence, telling the two superpowers: "We don't want to get trapped by this rivalry."

Retno said ASEAN must remain steadfastly neutral and united.

“Firstly I do not want Malaysia to be dragged and trapped in a geopolitical tussle between superpowers,” said Mr Hishammuddin.

“We must prevent any unwanted incident from happening within our territorial waters. We must also prevent any military clashes in the waters between any relevant parties,” he added.

Secondly, Mr Hishammuddin said that the South China Sea dispute cannot be used as an issue that will cause disunity between ASEAN countries.

“If we follow the narrative and succumb to the pressure of superpowers, the potential for ASEAN countries to bend and take sides with certain countries will be high. When facing big superpowers, we must be united, as one bloc, so that our strength will be synergised effectively,” he said.   CNA

The above are some reports from CNA on the evil scheme of the Americans to stir trouble in the region and trying very hard to agitate and provoke the Asean countries to fight China for the Americans. The Americans have been raising the tension in the South China to the point of an all out war with China. And if the Asean countries are stupid enough to be dragged into this war, the people and countries that would suffer and die will be the people of Asean, and the Americans will be laughing at the Asean's stupidity and making money out of it by selling more weapons.

It is a stroke of luck that Asean now have a few thinking leaders that saw through the deceit and vociferously told the Americans that Asean would not be the pawns of the Americans in its war with China. This tough stand has put a stop to the few American cronies in Asean that still wanted to take the side of the Americans to provoke and start a war with China. Thank God the number of cronies is down to probably one or two in Asean.

The Philippines is lucky to have Duterte to stand up to the Americans, but for how long? Below comment is the mentality and thinking in the Philippines especially in the miliitary. The distrust is because the dispute in the island claims. But the silly Philippines military trusted the Americans, the people that invaded their country, massacred their people and colonised and ruled them while China did not step foot on Filipino soil.  Can you believe it, they trusted the murderers of Filipinos and invaders of their country!

'The Philippines, particularly its military, has a deep mistrust of China over what it sees as intrusions into its territory, bullying of its fishermen and denial of access to its energy resources. Vietnam and Malaysia have made similar complaints this year.'

A lap dog is a lapdog. Everyone knows. But don't anyhow say Singapore is a lapdog.

Singapore will not be influenced by big powers. Singapore is independent. Singapore makes its own decision to fight or not to fight China.

Stylo milo.

Just like usa is not under rule of natives, aus is not under rule of natives, india is not under rule of natives, china is also not under rule of natives. Many chinese, especially the south chinese (natives) were killed and have to leave china under rule of mongols, manchurians and communists. Still cannot see the link?

North and south chinese look very different.
They even have different DNAs.

Human must realised that the real enemy is the invisible things like the viruses. Throughout history, kingdoms, dynasties fell, most of them were related to virus and medical pandemics. Small nation must be fortunate to have really smart leadership. He must look into all possible solutions including merging with bigger nation with big population. Relying on own resources is questionable.

Every alternative social political website or blog site talks about the Liew Mun Leong vs Parti Layani case. This is the huge elephant in the room. Yet RB totally avoid it. Why?

This big lump of shit called Pompeo really thinks that Asean leaders are so stupid to be dragged by him into a war with China. Of course there are one or two idiots among the Asean leaders that would be foolish enough to want to do so. But the will of the majority of the Asean leaders prevailed and the idiots would have to go along.

What can we say when Japan, which suffered the nuclear bomb, still trusted the USA.

My feel is that Abe is really not sick, only citing his long chronic ailment as an excuse, but choose to resign because he has been forced to take sides in the US/China dispute in the South China Sea.

The Philippines has too many 'illegitimate bananas' left behind by the Yanks after decades of colonisation by the USA, thus the support for them is still strong among the populace.

I do no doubt that Indonesia and Malaysia, being Muslim countries, will in any way support the USA. That would not do with the population even if the leaders think differently.

Vietnam is the odd one out, with the population still largely supportive of the USA, presumably from the South Vietnam region, also largely indoctrinated after long years of White control.

The USA thinks it is the strongest superpower with all the nuclear stockpile to bomb everybody back to the stone age, but in the face of the little virus it has shown it's venerability.

It's total haplessness is starkly exposed. It's nuclear arsenal, aircraft carriers, submarines and all manner of weapons can't do a damn thing to the virus. And, like India, it is focusing on the wrong priorities at this moment of time.

We are still clueless how the empires of the Mayans suddenly disappeared and many believe it was some kind of disease that wiped them out. COVID19 is not the only pandemic causing massive human casualties after the Black Plague, and will not be the last. There are thousands of like viruses out there and any one may become an even worse pandemic than the Black Plague and COVID19, given the right condition.

The USA is now trying to 'borrow swords to fight the Chinese' as they say.

The USA has no interest whatever in the survival or demise of the Asian states, merely using them as pawns, like Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.

As shown by Trump, the USA does not even care about the survival of it's own citizens during this COVID19 season, and is more concerned about the survival of the economy and Trump's failing enterprises. Death to Trump is just collateral damage and does not impinge on the conscience of this evil man and his cronies.

Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines and Brunei have counter claims against China over the SC Seas. Now that fatass Pompeo is offering backing to them, why aren't any is willing to take up?
Most of them knows America is here to stir shit by trying to contain China so they cannot supersede US as the and economic power and a leading influencial country.

As always wherever US goes, there's is trouble, in Middleeast, Central and South America. China is in this region and US is half the world away so better to sort out the disputes diplomatically with China than involving the warmonger US militarily.

The COVID-19 affected Trump Business Empire very seriously. His business is mainly hotels and golf courses. During lockdown nobody go to hotels, especially his very expensive hotels. Nobody go and play golf. Therefore, Trump is very desperate. That's why he keeps wanting to open up the economy very urgently so many times.

At the UN recently, why are countries, even in the EU, not supportive of the US sanctions on Iran? That fat dog keeps on saying that every one supports the US, but his bark is as hollow as his bite. He is so fat that his layer of lard is too thick to let him feel any shame.
