Crocodile feeding in Sungei Buloh

A couple of shots taken yesterday at Sungei Buloh Wetland. This guy snapped his jaws so hard that pieces of the fish splattered all over, out of its mouth. There are a few of them at the river next to the entrance and there is no need to trample deep into the park to see them. Timing is crucial and they are normally seen at low tide. The best is one or two hours after the published low tide when the water starts to flow back in, bringing along the fishes for the hunt.

I was there one afternoon when the tide was high and everyone was desperate looking for the crocodiles. Every little movement or shadow in the water would attract attention and finger pointing, 'There, there, the croc is there.'  A little girl in her father's arm was bewildered by the antics of the adults. She was so exasperated and shouted, 'There, there, over there' and pointing to another direction. The daddy asked her where. She said inside the triangle.

There was a triangle sign hanging in the observation shed with a picture of a crocodile in it.

Lucky that Rebbeca so-and-so wasn't there. She might be tempted to feed the crocs by throwing one of the kids in the water ;-)

I know, I know, I'm a sick fuck.

Anyway, happy Sunday to all.

Would be nice if you jump in and compete with the croc in your survival skill and instinct: )

Like that not fun enough lah.

Must go to Northern Australia (the place near Darwin where they filmed Crocodile Dundee). You are on a river boat and the boatman will use a fishing rod with meat hanging over the waters.

And then you can see at close range big crocodiles jumping up for the meat. Not one, but many. And many swimming in the waters too.

I was there before. Of course it is not a small boat and you are properly protected on the boat lah.

That wouldn't work. The croc wouldn't eat MS - professional courtesy.

I think it's dangerous to have the crocodiles around in an urban city like singapore. Before anyone get hurt or attach or eaten by these creatures, they should be caught and handed over to the zoo or be killed on the spot.

Matilar can be used as a bait to lure gem out.

Actually I'm looking forward to my visit to The Hotel next week.

I'm upgrading my stock of disposable and reusable particulate respirators to P3 (Aust Std) aka P100 (NIOSH Std).

Why? Because the hajj to Mecca, Saudi Arabia is in mid October this year. And there is a nasty corona virus called "MERS" (like SARS) whose death toll thus far has been the HIGHEST in Saudi Arabia. Over 2 million Muslims go on hajj, and then they return to their cuntrees of origin...bringing with them large infectious doses of this new organism into new environments.

Sweet dreams!

What is the different between Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan?

All are chinese living in an island?

P.S. This could be the next public health challenge for the PAP. I'm not trusting them one bit to deal with this, I'm being the Super Kiasu Kia and getting prepared.

Actually..a virus that kills Muslims?...hmmm if you can protect yourself from infection, maybe it's not so bad after all ;-)

Maybe Jehovah and Yahweh finally fucked Allah in the ass :-))

Have a blessed Sunday!

Don't feed the crocodiles.

Similarly.
Don't vote for the PAPigs.

Both PAPigs and crocodiles will eat you alive if you give them the chance.

The animal kingdom is truly very vicious and cruel. I have given up watching National Geographic documentaries on the hunting of animals.

Animals are designed that way. Each one is a small food production factory, turning everything they eat into food for the next level of predators above them and finally to human beans that eat everything in style.

But human beans are many times more cruel than animals. Animals killed to feed their hunger pangs that they could not resist, an instinctive act. Human beans killed for glory and conquest. When they called it war, it is alright to kill and destroy. Terrorism is not okay because it is not war and they did not have the fire power to commit the scale of destruction that war can.

Go watch the Napalm Girl now on CNA or Children of Agent Orange or some of the documentaries on the Iraq and afghanistan invasions. You are inhuman if your tears cannot flow.

Ya, very few kopi these couple of days.

When I first visited Sungei Buloh Wetland in 1994, I could only see birds.

Then about 10 years later in 2003, I visited again and managed to see besides birds, a big monitor lizard.

I have not visited since then. And now they got crocodiles!

That's continuous improvement. So what next?

What is so dangerous about water crocodiles in Singapore? They haven't killed, mauled or eaten any of us. What we should fear is the very fearsome land crocodiles breed and kept by the Pappie government? The LTA has two via the COE and the ERP and these two Pappie crocodiles are bleeding the economy and causing untold suffering to the people while at the same time fattening the insensitive unconscoionable Pappie bleeders. Then there are the GST of the Monetary Authority and the biggest crocodiles in the buaya department via the inland revenue of the Income Tax and the Property Tax which together rake in billions of dollars but with no benefits to the vast majority of the people at large. Other insidious land crocodiles can also be found in the Manpower Department, the Land Transport and the Health Services departments. These Pappie land crocodiles are more dangerous than aqua crocodiles because they are legalised to attack and maul the people who will have no avenue to recourse for justice after they are being sucked high and dry.

Right RB, now those countries who had suffered from the American atrocities of war are still on their sides thinking they are are still the good guys.

The napalm lady still in USA right? Who is the culprit in dropping the napalm bomb???

The documentary said it was the South Vietnamese Air Force that dropped the napalm bombs. Who supplied the napalm bombs?
