Sino Indian border tension – The self deluding Indian Govt

Sino Indian border tension heightened with claims by the Indian Govt of Chinese border guards crossing to Indian territories. And both sides sent troops to boost up their defences. Last heard, both sides have withdrawn troops and tension has cooled. Both India and China have disputed claims along their borders. Thanks to the British colonial empire that took liberty as the colonial power of the day to draw their own maps. They drew the whole of India as part of the British Empire, including Pakistan, East and West, many parts of Africa, Middle East, SE Asian and the rest of the world. And along the Sino Indian border, the British did the same, writing Chinese territories as part of the British Empire. And when they gave independence to India, they gave the same British map to the Indian Govt who now claimed that those lands too were Indian land. This is the source of the Sino Indian border dispute. Indian conveniently assumed that what the British took, they too could take or inherit.

What is hilarious is the regular drumming up of fear by the Indian Govt, echoed by the western powers, that China is an expansionist power and covet Indian territories, the disputed territories, and would invade India.

The truth is that since the communist took power in China, they have respected all treaties, including unequal treaties signed during the years of the weak Qing Dynasty. They kept to their words and did not use force to retake their territories like Macau and Hongkong, which they could take back any time before the lease forced upon a weak China. They have yet to take back Diaoyu Islands, a war loot signed away when China was defeated by Japan in a naval battle in 1894. And in the case of border dispute with India, China has not resorted to force to take back its land.

In the 1962 Sino Indian border war, it was India that attempted to seize the disputed territories by force. After losing that war, the Indians have been rewriting their history to sell the story that it was China that invaded India. The facts were as clear as daylight. After the incursion by India, China suffered initial losses which was natural for a country that was hit unprepared. This was the first proof that India was prepared for the war and took the initiative, the element of surprise. A China that was preparing to attack India would not have suffered that kind of losses.

China mounted a counter attack and chased the invading forces all the way to the outskirt of New Delhi. The supremacy of the PLA was unquestionable and the ability or lack of ability of the Indian Army was infamous. The Indian Army simply capitulated. China could take over all the disputed territories it claimed then, open a few more fronts to take over every piece of land it wanted. It did not and withdrew to the earlier disputed border. An aggressive invader would not do such a polite thing. Its policy of not using force to retake its lost territories was consistent as the consequences of such an act would mean perpetual war and hostility with India at the border, just like Israel taking over Palestinian land, the West Banks and Gaza. China seeks to negotiate for a peaceful settlement of the border dispute. Taking them back by means of war, by military force is not an acceptable solution.

The noises made by the Indian Govt then and now are not only mischievous but naiveity. China had all the chances to take over the disputed land many times over. Why would China want to do it now and start a war with India? It is childish diplomacy on the part of India, making childish pranks daily drumming the fear of a Chinese invasion. China is not the USA.

The recent China Japan tension at the Diaoyu Islands is another example. Deng Xiaoping has set aside the island problem with earlier Japanese leaders not to do anything to force a settlement. China is prepared to leave the disputed islands to posterity, to the far future as it is not something that is easy to resolve without going to war. The Japanese were the ones that created this recent tension by pushing the Chinese to react. The Japanese created the farce of buying the islands from another Japanese to create a fait accompli situation. China had no choice but to interrupt this ruse. And Japan is continuing to raise tension by tough talks of force. China could overrun Japan tomorrow if needed. Japan’s cockiness will be their wrong doings.

India better stop talking foolishly to try to raise tension at the Sino Indian border and let the status quo remain. It is better for the two giants to be friendly neighbours and live in peace than to bicker and raise hostility.

I sure am disappointed that they didn't come to blows.

The Chinese should have used the disputed territories as a testing ground for their new found military power. There is nothing like life targets and real terrain for their next generation fighter planes. And they should just unload some of their big inventory of scud missiles on the Indians.

Teach those buggers a lesson they won't forget.

Sometimes a punch in the face to prove who is mightier is better than lots of talk and peaceful pow wows that proves nothing.

To enjoy peace, you must not only prepare for war but go to war.

Trust me. The current skirmishes won't be the last coming from this superpower wannabe. They may be good as recipients of outsourcing and some simple computer work. But to fight a war with a real superpower?. Please go and fuck yourself.

The Chinese have taught 3 countries a military lesson they won't forget. The Americans got whacked by the poorly equipped PVA and tested the might of peasant soldiers, their tenacity and agility in war.

The Vietnamese got kicked in between the groins that they would not give the Chinese any more border troubles anymore.

The Indians were taught a humiliating lesson in the 1962 war. But the memory is fading and they are thinking of trying to avenge that shameful thrashing by the PLA. I say, just try to confirm that it is the truth.

Lately the stupid Pinoys, used to arrest Chinese fishing boats, had its tail between its two hind legs when the Chinese threaten to sink their only antique warship in Scarborough Shoal.

Now they are sitting on the head of the Americans shouting at the Chinese from a distance. Idiots.

Alamak. India want to kwai lan some more? Kena hatam terok terbokok already, still want some more.

Fight lah.

Without the Yankees providing cover, the Pinoys are history.

The PRC should stop wasting their energy to take back Taiwan as it is going to be theirs anyway when the Yankees get tired of guarding the fence or when their economy collapses after the money printing machines catches fire with too much pressure from that Fed fella with the beard.

The PRC should just send their littoral warships (yes, they have them but don't publicise like hell like the Americans do) and take over Pinoyland. If those Pinoys know how to manage the country well, it could be such a wealthy country as it's full of natural resources.

Actually FT Indians hate Chinese because of
1) Sino Indian War
2) Yellow have more guts in Assam
3) They just hate yellow because of our color.

I always think Chairman Mao Ze Dong is the most wicked man in whole universe. But till now, its still difficult for me to judge his overall contribition/sabotage to China.

Before Chairman Mao, India has a small detachment in Lahsa. After Chairman Mao, Indian got kicked off from Tibet.

India's territorial ambition on Tibet is self-evidence. She wanted to annex Tibet.

If Chairman Mao did not unite China in 1949, I 100% garantee Tibet will be India's sphere of influence by the time of 1960s.

In 1975, India invaded Sikhim, which was part of Tibet. Till now Sikhimese who are Tibetan are despised.

Chairman Mao sit by and watch not because he is heartless, but because Sikhim was sold by Dalai Lama 13th to British. China is a peaceful country. She do not want to create international hoo-haa.

The Dalai Lama group of Tibetan elites as shown to be traitor in many of the Ango-Tibet treaty, the most serious one is Treaty of Shimla.

From there Tibet lost South Tibet, Sikhim--a total area of 3 Taiwan.

Tibetan land under Hindu people now are Ladakh, Zanskar, South Tibet(Aruchal Pradesh), Sikhim, Northern Nepal, Bhutan(poodle state of India).....etc. Other than Bhutan, Tibetan under Hindu land are under cultural genocide,

Without Mao Ze Dong, it could be much worst. Thank you the communist party of China,

Hi RB and all other readers

Do you know Tenzig Norgay is Tibetan?

Go to hell this masturbation and dividing people by creating a "sherpa" race by those Hindic people together with white man.

A "Chinese" is the first in climbing Everest is no white man can stomach.

see this

[see this]

The English wiki is India friendly. This is what French Wiki wrote

In short, it says Tenzing Norgay is borned in Kharta, Tibet but this secret guarded for political reasons.

Be careful of white man. The conspiracy of international media is more powerful than we thought

The neighbouring states of India are semi colonies except for Pakistan that would not have any of it.

A little of my story.

I am quite dark looking Chinese often mistaken for Burmese or Malay. I did not encounter any "racism" from Singaporean Chinese. I am dark because I backpack alot in my younger days, often marching 40km from point A to point B under the sun.

I been India and Pakistan for a total of about 70-80 days. I have smuggled myself into the sino-india conflict zone of aksai chin. I have eaten fish from Pangong lake of Ladakh Tibet.

I have tried but nearly got myself killed in circumnavigating the most holiest mountain of Hindic religion, Mount Kailash.

When I backpack, I often beg people for food or hitch a truck. I meet a lot of people.

I give me confident to make certain comments, that bookworm cannot.

To young Singaporeans, you should backpack in those war zones when you are young. See the world. You wont regret it. It will change you forever.

When I was in Tibet, I fall very sick in Ali, near mount Kailash. I met a Japanese man, and I still remember him pouring water for me, when I was incapacited. (I am not gay)

In Tibet, I saw amazing tibetan prilgrims. They whole body 180 degree lie on the floor for every 3-5 steps, walking all the way from Ali to Lahsa, more than 1300 km, under sub zero temperature.

I remember I once nearly got killed in Kailash, Tibet. I lost my way at night, temperature -9 degree. There are no people around.

I got very serious frost bite and I cannot feel all my fingers and toes. I cannot see anything. I was hallucinating due to extreme low temperature. The wind is very big.

Then I met 2 tibetan women. They are circumnavigating the mountains despite of temperature below 0. They saw me, and quickly lead me to a tibetan tents.

The tent owner give me a cup of warm water. That is the sweetest water I ever tasted, and I still remember.

They are many other stories, think I should stop here.

It is very easy to destroy India. China does not even have to come into the picture. Just need to coach Pakistan.

India should take back Pakistan and Bangladesh into its fold as they were originally parts of Indian Territories.
Why does it wants to vie with China for the barren border. Hard to comprehend.

India should be splitted into three or more parts cos after so many years of independence, their ordinary people are still living as if in the medieval age. Their leaders are just too 'lame' to rule.
