WASHINGTON: The United States announced Sunday (Oct 19) another strike against what it called a drug-running boat, this time attacking an alleged Colombian leftist rebel vessel in an apparent expansion of a US military operation off the coasts of South America. CNA

After reckless and senseless attacks on Venezuela boats and civilians, terrorist Trump is now attacking Colombia and its president Gustavo Petro by simply calling him a drug dealer. After finding Maduro too tough to attack with China and Russia standing up to the Americans and committing troops and weapons to defend Venezuela, Trump has turned his gunsight to Petro of Colombia. Colombia is more precarious as it is not aligned to BRICS or China and Russia and would be an easy target for the American terrorists.

More than 27 innocent civilians have been killed by the American terrorists so far and more will be coming as no country is able to restrain the rogue American regime under Trump and his gangsters.

 

The real intent and purpose of the rogue regime is to control and rule South American states like before. They are using force to hammer the Latin American states, to conduct regime change and supporting opposition forces and the disgruntle to topple these govts. The message to the Latin American states, rogue America is going to enforce the Monroe Doctrine. Latin American states must be the vassal states of America, control and oppressed by rogue America to serve the American Empire. 

More Latin American states would come under attack if they don't yield to the American terrorists and Gangster Trump. More wanton and reckless killings of Latin Americans by the American terrorists in uniform are on the way.

The game changer now is that Russian and Chinese warships, including submarines, destroyers, frigates are in the Caribbeans to defend Venezuela. Cuba and Iranian forces are also there. This is the first time that the ballgame has changed. It was always the American mafia gangs attacking one country like in Ukraine, Iran, Syria, Libya and Gaza. Now Venezuela has four countries coming to its defence. 

Swallowing Venezuela is not going to be that easy for the Americans, one against five, with Bolivia, Colombia and Brazil waiting on the sideline. The Monroe Doctrine is now being challenged and cannot be taken for granted. Latin America is not going to be America's subservient states to be pushed around, to be bullied anymore.

This development would have other consequences, like tying American warship and other assets in the Caribbeans, fighting a war near American homeland, freedom of navigation exercises for Russian and Chinese warships in the Gulf of America! The Americans would have lesser assets to deploy elsewhere.

Oh, it will not happen in Singapore because the Government thinks far ahead. Really?

The Chinese Government had all the leverage to do so, pivoting investments into sectors like semiconductors, shipbuilding, EVs, batteries and renewable energy, sectors that have tremendous potential for growth rather than non-productive assets like malls and homes that were already overbuilt. Commercial and home prices escalate due to speculation and Xi stressed comprehensively that homes are for living in, not for speculation. Chinese investors have already taken the cue, so the chances of a property crisis in China had already been nipped in the bud, unlike what happened to Japan in the early 1990s. But foreigners who lost their pants speculating in the Chinese property market are very pissed off and still castigating Chinese property developers.

Talking about population explosion in Singapore, people need just to travel on MRT trains in the morning to realize the consequences. Those who drove in their big cars never see the problem of what a population explosion is all about. It is the small people who cannot afford a car that have to carry the burden. With the COE, cars are reserved for the rich, not the poor.

Punggol is an example of what happens when population grows disproportionately without adequate infrastructure. Why is the Government bringing in more bus services to serve Punggol, particularly Punggol Coast with the Singapore Institute of Technology and the digital district now opening up and traffic going to become problematic. This has also affected MRT commuters further down the line in Sengkang and Hougang.

Little Britain should stop barking like poodle

 Little Britain, is still trying to sound like a superpower once again, claiming that China is a threat to the UK daily. It would be better for the world if this little poodle just kept quiet and stop barking in order not to elicit criticism. Did the PLA just launch an attack on the UK or is the poodle just barking to please its master? Kier Stammer had been humiliated at the peace meeting in Egypt when he had nothing positive to contribute and had to just sniff around like a stray dog having been told by Trump to shut up and stand behind.

Australian journalists, at a conference, ganged up and tried to corner Australia's former PM, Paul Keating about the threat from China and were roasted like piglets over a fire by Keating. Paul Keating bluntly asked them whether China had invaded Australia or given notice that it is going to attack Australia, which is what a threat really means. Those journalists were trying to use the occasion to demonize China regarding the disputes over iron ore and seafood from Australia, framing that as a threat to Australia.

Trade and commercial differences and disputes always arise in any situation involving companies and countries all over the world and is an everyday affair in every nook and corner, and if that is considered a threat the whole world would be at war with each other every minute of every day.

USA as a rogue and terrorist state must be stopped at all costs

USA as a rogue and terrorist state must be stopped has been repeated time and again to no avail. How is the USA's behavior going to be stopped with all its military bases around the world and small countries cannot even dared to fart.

Having said that, de-dollarization is one effective way to stop the USA's rogue and terrorist behavior. When the US$ loses its predominant position, the privilege of unlimited money printing by the USA is taken away. Just like the British Empire unable to upkeep its military due to its inability to print unlimited amounts of money for its spending on keeping its military together. The USA will face the same fate if de-dollarization successfully produces an alternative system. Which is why the USA is so provocative towards BRICS with all the threats being raised, all realistically exposing its fragility. The effect of de-dollarization may not be clearly obvious so far, but given time, will become a real threat to the US$ hegemony and to the USA hegemony. In China's hands three or four-decades long timeline mean nothing. That is the norm

Having said that, only with the backing of Russia and China could the agenda of BRICS de-dollarization move forward successfully. Other attempts have been put down decisively by the USA using its military power and propaganda machinery. Saddam Hussein called for pricing of oil in Euros, the same thing as de-dollarization and was put away using fabricated evidence of having weapons of mass destruction. Gaddafi suffered the same fate for having the same mindset. The USA will invent a reason when it wants to get rid of others. That has been its modus operandi over the last 70 odd years.

Which tells us why it is important and why it is necessary for Russia and China to helm BRICS to give it the protection that other BRICS countries really need, otherwise countries inside it will go the way of Saddam Hussein or Gaddafi.

Trump targeting Chinese cooking oil while China exports deflation to benefit Global South countries

Trump is now targeting Chinese cooking oil. He wants USA to depend on itself, surely not going to be a cheaper alternative for USA consumers really. Is China going to pee in its pants? Just US$1.2 billion is at stake, a ripple on the surface of the ocean. Picking on things that are irrelevant is stupid. But then stupidity has no cure, right?
What else is there to scrape off the bottom of the barrel once China shakes off the threat by just exporting more cooking oil elsewhere. I want cheaper cooking oil here in Singapore too, so please do the necessary China.

As they say when elephants fight, the grass suffers. But Global South countries are not suffering, right? They are enjoying even cheaper stuff in trade with China. China is exporting deflation and who does not welcome that.

Countries should refrain from messing with China. China has taken decades earlier in anticipation of what is happening today. China has put in place things that are of National Security for its long term survival. China did not start trade wars in the face of its preparedness. But it is plain stupidity to start trade wars by being unprepared.
