'US President-elect Donald Trump’s plan to acquire Greenland from Denmark is not a “crazy idea,” former NATO supreme allied commander in Europe, James Stavridis, has said. He, however, dismissed the possibility of military intervention, instead advocating for economic engagement as a means to strengthen ties with the region....

Authoritarian regime in Washington going to ban RedNote
Chinese Apps allowing the comparison of living conditions between USA citizens and Chinese citizens are going to be banned for sure. Rednote for one is directly in the path of being banned soon, with the ban extending to making it illegal to be downloaded on VPN or Virtual Private Network.
Welcome to the end of USA Freedom under an authoritative regime disguised as a so-called democracy. Of course, gloating about the right to vote and criticizing the government is at the top of a democracy, where the citizens voted without any choice, choosing between the right and left hand. Just keeping these two freedoms alive, but impotent, is good enough to justify and gloat about USA democracy. All others, like the freedom to choose is slowly being taken away, like the right to choose what cars to buy and how much to pay for it. It is no longer a choice that citizens can exercise, as much as having to suffer exorbitant insurance premiums, healthcare and the housing crunch.
As for having the right to criticize the Government, turning a deaf ear is a simple response by the USA Government. Might as well just legislate the USA Government to alternate between the Democrats and Republicans. But the show must carry on, and the circus must keep performing since the audience still believe in the clowning going on.
Oh yes, there is another freedom that is being kept and that is living on the streets. Homelessness is touted as a 'lifestyle choice' and will be retained. I am indeed flabbergasted by such an argument.
Conman Trump still thinks he is going to con Kim Jong Un into de-nuclearizing
Conman Trump still thinks he is going to con Kim Jong Un into de-nuclearizing. I can safely say that this is an exercise in futility.
North Korea's nuclear possession is the result of three generations of the Kim family's sacrifice and the sacrifice of the North Korean people. The decades of sanctions have stifled North Korea's economy and isolated the country.
Do not say that North Korea has no friends though. There is Russia, China and a host of countries in Africa that can still remember its help in their anti-colonial fight. And Kim Jong Un is not going to just give it up listening and being persuaded by a conman.
Even before Trump finally sets out on his mission, Kim has already fired his shot. He is intent on upgrading North Korea's nuclear deterrent agenda. Kim cannot afford to believe in Trump, who will just have four years in the White House. What happens when the next President comes in and clears the deck, like Trump did with all the treaties with the Russians? It is a risk that Kim cannot afford to take.
Kim is perhaps interested in taking up another free and easy holiday, all paid for by others, but on the issue of de-nuclearization, that is more like a 'Red Line' that cannot be crossed. For all we know, Kim's survival may be at stake after North Korea's de-nuclearization. A regime change is not out of the question. Without a deterrent that is keeping the country relatively safe, the stakes are too high to gamble with. Japan and South Korea are thorns in the side of North Korea and may want to pull the plug as proxies for the USA to control North Korea and have a border closer to Russia and China from which the USA can do its nonsense.
Americans should decide if they want to continue to be lied to by their authoritarian regime
Rednote has provided a light at the end of the tunnel for the USA citizens to think and decide for themselves regarding what they should do to change their destiny. It is a Godsend that ordinary Chinese citizens are doing good work for the Chinese Government interacting with USA citizens, otherwise any direct involvement by Chinese political leaders will be accused of interfering in the internal affairs of the USA.
China just has to show them what it has achieved as a Socialist state with a, should I quote Yanis Varoufakis, a more humanistic Government than what the USA Government and MSM media had been lying to its own people for decades.
If USA citizens are content to live with the status quo, so be it. If USA citizens think they ought to right the wrongs, that is good for everybody as well. Why live to fight over domination, ideology, egos and aspirations to remain the only superpower when the world can live in peace without all the sickening agendas coming out of the USA.
Ukraine war - A war that benefits China in many ways
Trump thinks he can push a time bomb to Xi by forcing Xi to pressure Putin to end the war in Ukraine. It is not going to happen. We do not even know if Trump really said that to Xi as reported, unless we hear from Xi admitting to that delegation claim and what was his response. Trump can just invent or pluck narratives from the air that he will distance himself from later on, under scrutiny. Why does Putin want to end the war when Russia is on the upper hand? Trump wants to control half of Ukraine and Putin is not going to play into the hands of Trump.
The whole agenda of Trump pushing the ball to Xi is trying to split the good relations between Putin and Xi. Putin does not want any interference against his agenda and Xi knows that perfectly well. The two of them are on the same wavelength, despite all the attempts to throw spanners into their relationship. This has already been clearly shown by China during the early stage of the war, despite the pressure from the USA and the West trying to force China to take a stand against Russia, which China resisted.
China is benefitting much from the Ukraine War itself to say it discreetly, although it is an open secret. Most obvious of which is the cheap energy from Russia, which is fueling its manufacturing sector with cheap energy to produce even cheaper EVs and other consumer products. Why should China be the one to kill the goose that is laying the golden eggs? After all it is part of China's mission in the de-dollarization campaign and playing an important role in that game.
China is not going to sabotage its golden century after its century of humiliation. China is going to take full advantage of all the benefits that it can accrue.
