Thailand legislating against the acts of treason by NGOs

Thailand's move to legislate laws to force NGOs to disclose their source of funding is facing strong opposition, both at home and abroad. You should know who the foreign objections are coming from and answering that question should be simple enough.

This move of forcing funding disclosure was started during the Military rule and is now uncertain with the new leaders in charge. There is a tinge of doubt that that law will be carried through, with all the attempts to change Thailand's present state of Government, with even the Monarchy facing threats.

How much of interference by foreign NGOs in Thailand leading to this state of affairs is anyone's guess. We have seen the Monarchy playing a pivotal role in settling Thailand's many upheavals and the Monarchy is an essential part of Thailand's political landscape. Getting rid of the Monarchy puts Thailand in a position where foreign interference can easily upset the balance of power and create chaos that will not do the country any good. There are always elements that will leverage on such a situation for their own interest.

I agree that countries must have Government control over NGOs funded by foreign entities out to create mischief under cover of humanitarian reasons.

Oh, let us not forget that the Natives of North America had their fate sealed for being too obsessed with salvation preached by the foreign devils and lost their land and their every right in their own county. Let that be a lesson for others.

Given the American's vice grip on Saudi Arabia, can it be trusted?

Now China's energy needs can migrate more towards Russia. It is dangerous to do the energy trade with Saudi Arabia performing an acrobatic about turn after all the rhetoric about pricing oil in other currencies. We never know what Saudi Arabia will do in its trade with China, with more pressure exerted by the USA going forward. Perhaps time now for China to think about all the investments in Saudi Arabia and do some rethinking.

That is why I say, BRICS needs to admit membership carefully and not just for the sake of expansion alone. Time is on BRICS side and taking time to evaluate is important. In saying this I am thinking of Turkey's divided loyalty. It is not going to work. It is either NATO or BRICS for Turkey. Then again, we can never discount what kind of pressure will be exerted on Turkey if it goes for BRICS.

Many are not aware that Saudi Arabia did not end the pricing of oil in Petrodollars. It merely did not renew the 50-year agreement with the USA, but the oil trade carries on as per normal and its oil still priced in US$. This clearly indicates that pressure is being applied against MBS. The other clear indication that not all is what it seems when the USA kept its silence over Saudi Arabia's officially not renewing the Petrodollar agreement with the USA. This seems to me rather strange that the USA is willing to bear with such a setback of monumental proportions in silence. We have all been totally blindsided by MBS.

Ukraine War...An American war to destroy Russia or to destroy Europe?

Losing the war in Ukraine is a loss of face for the USA and NATO. It is even more catastrophic than losing the Afghanistan War. Losing to Russia is a very difficult pill to swallow, and finding an excuse to extricate is equally painful. It is going to set a precedent for Taiwan that all the USA 'iron clad' pronouncements mean little when the shit hits the fan.

The USA and NATO thought that mounting the Russian Bear in Ukraine is going to be a piece of cake, what with all the seizure of Russian assets and sanctions imposed on Russia. Little do they realize too late that Russia is indeed a war machine. Defeating Adolf Hitler and Napoleon Bonaparte was the lesson the USA and NATO failed to learn. In fact, the USA should already have learnt its lesson in Afghanistan, the 'Graveyard of Empires'. The USA thinks that with its military might and support of NATO, Russia is toast. Now, it is the EU that gets toasted.

The world is now looking at the failure of sanctions in all its glory against Russia. The most sanctioned country in history is doing better than all the sanctioning doggies. That is the biggest irony. What a slap on the face of the USA, EU and all the doggies!!

Vietnam knows better who is buttering its bread...is now a partner in BRICS

I think Vietnam knows better who is buttering its bread, despite all the chumminess that the USA is pretending to woo it. China is Vietnam's biggest trading partner. China was also Vietnam's supporter during the Indochina War against the French and the Vietnam War against the USA and its allies. China's all out support was not miniscule, despite China's less than rosy economic state itself.

Asians in general repay those who help them more than Anglo-Saxon Whites that take such help as a right and turn around to bite the helping hand of those who extended help. During the financial crisis of 2008, China went out of it way to help the USA turn the tide but faced all the animosity afterwards. This coming financial tsunami is not going to be repeated with China again extending a helping hand. Once bitten twice shy I would say.

On the other hand, the USA was supporting the French during the Indochina war against the North Vietnamese and was directly fighting the North Vietnamese during the Vietnam War. The war crimes the USA committed, and the destruction of the country. cannot just be forgotten and forgiven so easily.

Vietnam is now a partner in BRICS. Vietnam knows that going forward, the USA will erect more hurdles to keep out Vietnamese exports entering the USA, knowing that such exports have Chinese backgrounds. In the light of this, Vietnam knows that the Global South market is its more important target by joining BRICS.

USA is trying to blow out everyone's candle

'Blowing out someone else's candle will not make yours shine brighter'. That is such a true saying. More candles will make things brighter. And that goes for having more competition benefiting the whole world.

The USA is trying to blow out everyone's candle, so that its own candle will light up the whole world. That is the thinking of a mental retard. Pushing everyone down so that the USA can rise above them does not make things better. It stifles innovation, stifles attempt to make things cheaper, better and faster rather than resorting to the same old modus operandi and ending the economies of scale and comparative advantages factor. Taking out China alone will deprive the world of cheaper consumer products. Is that the desire of the Global Community or just the desire of the USA to put a stop to it?
