BRICS again stumbles on new membership. The saboteur is strong

 More than 40 countries apply to join BRICS. More than 150 countries wanting to dedollarise to join the BRICS new banking system. But all is not well for BRICS. The saboteurs are working extremely hard to derail BRICS from becoming a strong competitor to the G7. 

BRICS' position to want to expand its membership is facing great objections from within. It is wavering from wanting to expand to not wanting to expand, to compromising on full membership to partnership or different variations of partial membership. This fumbling in decision making is not good for BRICS as the vanguard of the Global South to break free from American and western bullying and domination. BRICS is their light of hope to real freedom and independence.

BRICS must also know that its attractiveness and importance lies on a large membership, not just a handful of members that think too highly of themselves, of their self importance and wanting to exclude others from joining BRICS.  BRICS must not turn out to be another exclusive club for the pretentious rich states like the G7. When BRICS think it is a private club existing for the interest of the privilege few, BRICS would be as good as cutting off its support base from the Global South.

The latest announcement by Sergey Lavrov not to admit new members in the coming Summit is a slap in the face of the countries of the Global South. The momentum of expansion must not be stopped and at worst, BRICS must at least bring in another half dozen new members in October. Failing to do so would fall into the trap of the saboteurs and the West, to extinguish the hopes of countries of the Global South.

The saboteurs and detractors would have cooked up all kinds of excuses to not expand the membership. This must not be allowed to succeed. BRICS must not kill itself before it is born. BRICS expansion must go on at all cost, to be a force to be reckon with, to be the hope of the Global South. If necessary, BRICS must be firm and united and expel the saboteurs that are the stumbling block to BRICS' rise as a new pole in international relations..

After having come so far, offering itself as the saviour of the Global South, BRICS must not be a party buster. Losing the hope and confidence of the Global South would be a tragedy to BRICS growth as a powerful block of nations wanting to chart their own destinies and be free from the oppression and bullying of the Americans and the West.

The expansion of BRICS must go on at all cost!

Tariffs will make America Great Again. Let the Americans believe in whatever they want

 Selling to the Global South is just as good as selling to the USA and the EU, without the tariffs. China will lose nothing and gain nothing from those escalated tariffs while USA and European consumers are being punished with expensive consumer products with the tariffs added in.

All those tariffs are being dictated by the ICE vehicle manufacturing lobby, to protect their shrinking turf against EVs. To cater to this form of corruption, the USA voters have to suffer the consequences. Both parties are trying to play the same game, as they are beholden to campaign donations one way or another and have to uphold their promises. Failure to do so means the donations go the other way.

Did the trade war of so many years made the USA great? Four years of MAGA is a joke when after that someone else takes over. There is no continuity to making USA great again.

Mickey Mouse volunteers to be American attack dogs

 Instead of concentrating on development of India to benefit the people, the Modi Government is wasting valuable resources to please the USA by countering China. How naive is Modi during COVID by catering to the USA's dictate of countering China's Vaccine Diplomacy, because China was providing cheaper traditional vaccines to third world countries, thereby competing with the likes of big Pharma from the USA. USA's interest becomes India's duty to protect, and Modi obliged.

What has India achieved? Hundreds of thousands of Indians died for nothing when India was caught without vaccines by following the USA's orders to counter China's Vaccine Diplomacy. And what did the USA do to help India? The USA practically ignored India's plea for help. Only when other countries started helping India, even China, did the USA change its stance for fear of losing face.

This is the attitude of the USA towards allies and friendly countries. And help to cater to the USA's interest is taken as of right, and any help needed from the USA is just brushed aside as 'you die your own business'.

China only knows how to complain but afraid to act

 BEIJING: China's Coast Guard said a Philippine vessel that had ignored its repeated warnings "deliberately collided" with a Chinese vessel in an "unprofessional and dangerous" manner, according to statements on Monday (Aug 19).

In one of the statements, China's maritime security said the same Philippine vessel then entered waters near Second Thomas Shoal after being prevented from entering Sabina Shoal waters.

Two Philippine Coast Guard vessels "illegally intruded" into waters adjacent to Sabina Shoal without permission in the early hours on Monday, according to the China Coast Guard spokesperson Gan Yu.

"The Philippines has repeatedly provoked and caused trouble, violated the temporary arrangements between China and the Philippines," Gan said, referring to the Philippines' supply missions to a vessel grounded on Second Thomas Shoal.

China's Coast Guard said it took control measures against the Philippine ships in accordance with the law in the incidents early Monday, and warned the Philippines to "immediately stop infringement and provocation" or "bear all consequences".  CNA

When would China ever learn? As long as China chooses to behave like a meek state, everytime got poked, only knows how to kpkb, but afraid to kick the provocateur, China would forever be bullied by the Mickey Mouse. And the Mickey Mouse would only get emboldened and become more provocative. That is exactly what the Pinoys are doing, knowing that China is a toothless dragon, breathing fire and that is about it. All the Asean states also know this.

China must stop its stupidity and start kicking asses. If not, it is only inviting more trouble to itself, like what the Japanese told the Chinese during the Qing Dynasty, 'weakness is an invitation for war'. Is this so difficult to learn? There are so many ways to skin a cat, to skin the Mickey Mouse, without going to war. Just block off the access to the sunken wreck or entry to the lagoon in the Sabina Shoal, or start filling up the reefs, to prevent the intruder from getting out. Put enough coast guard ships or PLAN warships to whack the daylight out of the violators if they dare to go violent. This is your island, or this is Pinoy island?

The sunken wreck and Pinoy Coast Guard ships in Sabina Shoal are not there by accident. They are there to occupy Chinese islands, to make claims on Chinese territories. The sailors in them are occupation forces. Where is China allowing the Pinoys to resupply and feed these invaders of Chinese islands? Is China helping the invaders to take over their islands?

Everyday crying father and mother is a very shameful behaviour for a superpower unable to deal with a little Mickey Mouse with a little prick dangling to prove its manhood. Stop complaining and do something.

Start acting as a superpower and mean business and be respected. Stop being a cry baby. The world, especially the Mickey Mouse, would not respect meekness. Whether China likes it or not, act or not to act, the Asean countries are split, some pro China, some anti China no matter what. They would not change their positions. Some are happy sleeping with the Americans and would not be on China's side. The weaker China appears to be, the more they would lean towards the American terrorists and gangsters.
