India is Sabotaging Progress in the BRICS and SCO Groupings

After the induction of India as a full member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in 2017, the grouping began meandering aimlessly. This was not what China and Russia had in mind in 2005 when they put together the Shanghai Five in 2005 (which later morphed into the SCO.)

“If China is not willing to correct its wrong attitude in the talks at the bilateral level, how will the two countries improve relations at SCO and BRICS? These groups are not making much progress due to obstinacy in Beijing’s position,” said Yogesh Gupta, a former Indian ambassador to Denmark.

Under India's first-ever Chairmanship of the SCO, the SCO foreign ministers meeting in Delhi recently witnessed an acrimonious India-Pakistan standoff that vitiated the “Shanghai Spirit,” even as the Central Asian states and Russia and China mutely watched.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shockingly decided to host the SCO Heads of State summit on July 4 in virtual mode amid lukewarm ties with China and Pakistan.

As the SCO may eventually be rendered comatose ready for burial by India, it stands to reason that China and the Central Asian states and Russia felt the need to create more effective mechanisms and plans in their common space so as to impart a new quality of cooperation, and supplement the SCO if need arises.

So, instead of expelling India from the SCO, the Xi’an summit was held on May 18-19 with the five heads of Central Asian States and Beijing. A new ‘5+2’ axis is being formed (Central Asia plus China and Russia).

How good is India?

How good is Indian engineering and technology can be seen in the suspension bridge collapsing a second time, just 14 months after being repaired. That is a profound lesson.
I believe it is all due to lack of funds for anything better to be done. With a population of 1.4 billion and a GDP of about US$3.7 trillion, not much is available for developmental purpose. All that talk about 'population growth dividends' means little if poverty still festers, with no major areas of growth in employment to absorb the growing population. young they might be. Only in investments in industries and manufacturing can mass employment opportunities be created for more young Indians entering the job market, in order to propel the country forward.

China took a leaf from the Industrial Revolution of the West, and reaped the benefits. India did not do so for a long time, instead preferring to indulge in small scale manufacturing hubs that provided scant job opportunities for its growing population. Moreover, with voters deciding the kind of Government who can best take care of their livelihood, wholesale changes to the economy's direction is out of the question. Doing that means the Government will be voted out in no time. China does not have to cater to voter's demand and can dictate the direction of it economic direction. That has so far been more productive rather than a hindrance.

India's path forward had been charted on its predominantly service oriented economy, a direction it has chosen to follow that is diametrically different from China. Only lately has the Indian Government realised the potential for mass job creation by investing in the manufacturing and industrialisation route. India is moving in that direction without a doubt, but it is already far and away from what China has done. In fact countries like Vietnam and Bangladesh have embarked on industrialisation to attract investments from China and elsewhere over the past decades, and have benefitted.

That begs the question of the need for India to invest also in infrastructures, like rails, roads, airports and ports to cater to the industrialisation move. Otherwise, investors will still shun the poor infrastructures, without being able to take advantage of the rapid movement of raw materials, finished goods and timely delivery to ports for shipping in an industrial environment. The demand for funds to cater to all this is a problem for India to resolve.

Nikki Haley - Mad and dangerous

Nikki Haley insists on WW3 if Ukraine loses

The Republican presidential candidate explained that the only way to prevent war was to “send a message” by fighting one

Allowing Ukraine to lose to Russia on the battlefield will unleash world war, according to Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley. The former South Carolina governor told a town hall audience in Iowa on Sunday that arming Kiev was all about “preventing war” by “sending a message” to the US’ rivals.

“When Ukraine wins, that sends a message to China with Taiwan, it sends a message to Iran that wants to build a bomb, it sends a message to North Korea testing ballistic missiles, it sends a message to Russia that it’s over.”

“It is in the best interests of America, it is in the best interests of our national security for Ukraine to win. We have to see this through, we have to finish it,” she said.  RT

This mad woman is more dangerous than Pelosi. She is running for POTUS. And she can win if the alternatives are Trump or Biden. Many Americans are as mad as her and would vote for her. She needs to be put inside an asylum with the key thrown away before she does more harm to the people of the world.

America is now run like a circus with clowns and scoundrels turning up to be President. It is not about voting for the best men or the best woman. It is about voting for the maddest man or woman to be President of the USA.

Chinese warship crossed path of American and Canadian warships in Taiwan Strait

China’s foreign minister has defended the actions of its navy after it sailed a warship into the path of American and Canadian vessels conducting joint exercises in the Taiwan Strait on Saturday, saying the so-called ‘freedom of navigation’ patrols are an act of aggression towards Beijing.

In an address to a host of global defense officials at the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore on Sunday, General Li Shangfu said Beijing was unconcerned by what he called “innocent passage” but that it must “prevent attempts that try to use the freedom of navigation [patrols], that innocent passage, to exercise hegemony of navigation.”  RT

Chinese warship crossed the path of American and Canadian warships at 150 yards. The provocative Americans and Canadians are calling foul, complaining that they were exercising 'freedom of navigation' by sailing warships across the Pacific Ocean into China's territorial waters in the Taiwan Straits. This is a hostile act. Warships are not allow to travel into another country's territorial waters without permission. For the rogue Americans and Canada to travel thousands of miles to Chinese waters is definitely an act of provocation.

China must take tougher actions against these rogue countries and their rogue behaviour. They are sending antique warships fit for retirement in the musuem or to be scrapped into Chinese waters, expecting them to be sunk by China and to use it as an excuse for war.  The irresponsible Americans and Canadians do not mind losing the sailors in the warships to engineer another Gulf of Tonkin Incident to start a war with China in East Asia.

China cannot keep appeasing these international terrorists and allow them to sail warships and warplanes into its territorial waters and airspace, within range of firing their weapons into Chinese territories. The savage warmongers are determined to start a war with China. China must face these rogues and give them what they wanted, sink a few of these warships when they entered Chinese waters. China should declare the Taiwan Straits out of bound for foreign warships and would take firm actions when provoked.

If China continues to act in a civilised manner, the terrorists would read it as a sign of weakness. More small savage countries like Germany or UK, maybe even silly Asian or SE Asian countries would also think it safe to sail their little warships into Chinese waters. China has to come down hard on these provocateurs, arrest them and drag them into Chinese ports. China needs to carry a big cane to deal with trouble makers intentionally sailing into Chinese waters to create trouble. Whack them real hard until they cry in pain and would not dare to come again.

Austin has this to say, 'Speaking at the same conference in Singapore on Saturday, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said Washington would not “flinch in the face of bullying or coercion,”' Now, who would dare to bully the Americans? Are the Chinese or Russian warships sailing along the coasts of the USA? Who is bullying or coercing who? This Afro American thinks the world is stupid as him and cannot see what is going on? The Americans are provoking and bullying China everyday and everywhere.

The day must come, sooner or later, to take on the white savages. Some of the sailors of these savage countries must be buried in the seas around China, like the sailors of the Repulse and the Prince of Wales in the South China Sea, to teach them to behave peacefully. They pretend to talk peace but are agitating and inciting for war, the only thing they could think of to conquer and rule the world. The world must get rid of these international terrorists. They are the biggest threat to peace and stability.

Caveat, there are some Asian and SE Asian countries that are begging to be ruled again by the white men. They unashamingly invited the white men to rule them, to take over their countries with military bases and soldiers.

China’s Military Looks Down on Indian Military

India will not pose a security threat to China because it is still incapable of challenging Beijing in defence manufacturing and modernisation of its military, said Chinese military delegates to Asia’s premier security forum.

Speaking to media on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore, which closed on Sunday, the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) delegates said India was still a long way from catching up to China’s military, especially in the defence industry.

“India is unlikely to catch up to China in the coming decades because of its weak industrial infrastructure, while China has built complex and systematic defence industrial platforms,” said Senior Colonel Zhao Xiaozhuo of the PLA Academy of Military Sciences.

“When you look at the Indian military’s weapon systems, what types of tanks, aircraft and warships were made and developed by Indians themselves?”

As the world’s biggest army, the 2 million-strong PLA has set a goal to become a modern fighting force by 2027, the centenary of its founding.

PS. India would definitely disagree. They believe that they are more advanced and superior than China and are ready to defeat China in a war. They even told their students to work hard or else China would over take India as an advanced economy. They have already defeated China in becoming the most populous country.
