Rules based order is a western scam

The British Museum is legally forbidden from sending the ancient Parthenon Marbles back to Greece, despite reports that such a transfer may be underway, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s office declared on Monday.

While the British Museum’s trustees are free to talk to whomever they please, the office stressed “we have no plans to change the law, which prohibits removing objects from the museum’s collections…apart from certain circumstances. Our position on that hasn’t changed.”....

The British Museum attempted to bridge the gap with its own statement released over the weekend, declaring: “We operate within the law and we’re not going to dismantle our great collection, as it tells a unique story of our common humanity.” However, it said, the museum wants “a new Parthenon partnership with Greece.”

(What a joke? Only shameless white men could use such convoluted reason to justify an act of theft. When one is the empire, all powerful, one can talk all kinds of rubbish and get away with it.  Be careful when you lose your power and no longer in charge. RB)

The above is quoted from RT.

There were negotiations to return the loot, the Greek Parthenon Marbles, to Greece. The Brits know very well that practically every exhibit or piece of art in the British Museum was stolen by the Brits from their colonies. Not only that, practically every piece of precious stone and jewelry in Buckingham Palace is also looted from the countries of the world. The Brits know that this is unlawful, against the laws of civilised nation states, against all moral standards of man. So they have to and must return, now or later. But they chose not to return and falling back on their laws. This is an example of the treacherous concept of Rules Base Order. When things are against them, they simply write a law to cover their asses. Utterly rubbish!

Which is more righteous, more ethical and moral, to return the stolen goods or to obey the questionable British law that said items in the museum cannot be removed?

This so called Rules Based Order can only last as long as they are still powerful, militarily, just like the days of gun boat diplomacy. The one that carried the biggest gun called the shot, set the law. Once Little Britain is torn apart, loses its ability to defend itself, this Rules Based Order would be flushed down the toilet. No one would believe in this stupid concept which is to protect their own interest and own ass.

The world has had enough of the white man's rule, white man's empires that invaded, massacred and looted the rest of the world. The rest of the world is waiting for the collapse of the western civilisation and to take back everything stolen by the white men during the era of military conquest and colonialism. Once the rest of the world has united themselves as a formidable force to take on the white men, then the table would be turned against the supremacy of the white men and their outrageous and hideous Rules Based Order. It would be an international order and the laws would be decided by the rest of the world, not by the white men.

The creepy Sunak, a coloured man thinking and behaving as if he is whiter than white and citing white man's hypocrisy to bully the coloured people, for the interest of the white men, is simply a silly ridiculous joke. He forgot about the diamonds on the British crown stolen from India?

PS. Does the Rules Based Order support theft of properties as legal or that stolen properties must be returned to their rightful owners? What about returning stolen lands to their original owners, like the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the Falklands, Hawaii etc etc?

PS2. The so called law quoted by the Museum Trustee, are they state law or Museum's internal regulations? Even if they are state laws, can this supercede and override national legislation on theft and robbery?  If there is a conflict, which law should take precedent? White men speak in fork tongue. Oops, it is black man spoke in fork tongue.

Chinese folk songs - a happy people enjoying new prosperity in peace

Tan Weiwei 谭维维《康定情歌》 a popular singer with a powerful vocal.

Alan  or 阿兰《青藏高原》, a very popular Tibetan girl with an equally powerful vocal.

The Chinese people are enjoying their new found prosperity as a major economic power house. Unlike the West that are quarrelsome, trouble making, warmongering and inciting for wars everyday, fighting and killing everywhere, China is an oasis of peace and happiness.

The rest of the world should go about enjoying their lives in peace and not be dragged into any silly wars of destruction by the evil Americans and the West. They can go and kill themselves with our blessing. They can keep escalating the Ukraine War and keep lying to the world that it is a Ukrainian War against the Russians when they are deeply involved up to their necks.

Happy fighting.

Covid 19 - Stupidity has no cure

When would you acknowledge that a vaccine is not effective against the infection it is supposed to prevent?

Would 1,000 infected after getting vaccinated be good enough to confirm that the vaccine is not effective? No?

What about 100,000 cases? Still not convince that it is not effective?

What about 1m cases infected after vaccination? Still don't think it is ineffective?

What about 100m cases infected? The US has more than 100m infected. The whole world has more than 200m cases infected after using mRNA vaccines. Convince that it is not effective? No?

Oh, must go for booster. Those got infected because they did not get boostered.

Ok, after one booster shot, still got infected? Effective? No?

Ok get 3, 4, 5 boosters. Still got infected. Convince that it is not effective? No?

Still want to go and get poke and poke with more booster shots hoping that it would work?

How many still think the mRNA vaccine is effective or ineffective?

How many still want to go for more booster shots?

Heard Pfizer and Moderna going to charge at least US100 per shot because it is effective, the best vaccines, want to offer to China some more.

The latest furore over China's opening up and the hysteria in the West that China is facing a Covid crisis with the virus sweeping across China like wild fire. And ridiculous numbers were quoted like 37m infected in a day, hospitals overwhelmed. A Hong Kong journalist claimed that 90% of Beijing's pop of 25m were infected.

If one is to look at the numbers carefully and ask if they make sense, one would quickly find out that they made totally nonsense, just simply spout by the irresponsible doomsayers that wanted to badmouth China.

Japan and South Korea have about 30m total infection up to today. And you have jokers claiming that China had 37m within a few days! And Beijing has 90% of its 25m or 22.5m infected in a few days. Try imagining 20m people reporting sick, what would happen to the hospitals and clinics? How are they going to cope, to record the numbers? For simple comparison, Singapore has a pop of 6m, and all going to report to the clinics and hospitals that they are infected? And we are talking of 6m people!

All the numbers quoted were utterly nonsense. The scale is unreal. Beijing or whichever city with this kind of numbers infected would be on a standstill. The roads would be jammed with traffics. How to count the numbers? But for anti China critics, they just loved the numbers, the bigger the better, and would not be bothered to think through what such numbers meant administratively, logistically and physically. You cannot count even 1m in one day administratively in city. How did they come out with the numbers?

And what happens now? All the hospitals and clinics are normal overnight. Where are the millions of infected and where are the hundreds of thousands of the dead that would come with it? The scenes on the hospitals would be many times worst than the images of New York at its worst. One day all darkness and a few days later all sparkling bright and life is back to normal? And the Gordon Chang types are still uttering the same magic numbers, refusing to reflect or spare a thought on the stupidity of the numbers.

PS. 'According to a National Health Commission (NHC) official, China recorded 59,938 COVID-related deaths between Dec 8, 2022, and Jan 12.

The figure refers only to deaths recorded at medical facilities, with the total toll likely to be higher.

The data includes 5,503 deaths caused by respiratory failure directly due to the virus, and 54,435 deaths caused by underlying conditions combined with COVID-19, Jiao Yahui, head of the NHC's Bureau of Medical Administration, told a news conference....

Just under 2.9 million patients visited fever clinics on Dec 23, they said, but the figure had dropped to 477,000 nationwide on Jan 12.' CNA.

About 60,000 in 35 days or less than 2,000 daily death. A country with 1.4b  people, how many would die under natural causes? At the peak, 2.9m infection nationwide. How many countries are under reporting? How many countries are not counting death due to underlying conditions as non Covid death, no need to count?

Rich Chinese tourists on the march... with plenty of cash to spend

Commentary: Staying open to China travellers is a huge economic gamble for Southeast Asia

Thailand is welcoming Chinese tourists with the familiar Thai charm and hospitality, and would be happy to get 5m tourists from China this year. By the look of things going on around the world, with many silly countries playing dirty politics, more Chinese tourists can be expected in Thailand and friendly countries.

China should put a ban on its tourists from visiting hostile countries at least for a year to let them salivate in pain and anger without the big spending Chinese tourists visiting them.

This would be a good lesson to silly little countries that chose to be coerced by the Americans to attack Chinese tourists and China and to lose the tourist dollars that could come to them. The first two Asian countries deserving such a ban should be Japan and South Korea. The USA should be the top country to be out of bound for Chinese tourists, and also western countries that joined the hostile bandwagon.

Let them stay at the sideline to watch the money flowing everywhere except into their pockets for their silly antics. Every country showing hostility or unfriendliness can standby and wait long long. There are many countries around the world to go to that welcome Chinese tourists.

The Chinese tourists are famous for being big spenders, spending in the tens of thousands each everywhere they visited. Many countries and their retail industries and hotels would be laughing all the way to the bank.

SPH last saga on its way to become SPH Media Trust

UNANSWERED QUESTIONS

The quicker these investigations are completed the better. For the sake of preserving public interest, some of the questions that must be answered are: First, if the audit was initiated nine months ago, why did it take this long for the information to be made public?...

Second, some commentators have observed that much of what SPH Media did is accepted industry practice. After all, it has been said, figuring out the exact numbers of newspapers sold is very difficult, so it’s okay to grant media companies leeway. ...(very difficult to count, accepted industry practice????)

Third, how long has the practice of arbitrarily inflating circulation been going on? SPH used to be a listed company that enjoyed monopoly status in the local media scene, so it is astounding that it had to resort to artificially inflating its circulation figures, yet that appears to be the reality today.

If the practice does extend back several years, then SGX will have its work cut out in determining if any action needs to be taken regarding disclosures from those periods.

As things stand, there are more questions than answers in the minds of the public. For a start, answers to those which appear above should be forthcoming as soon as possible.

David Gerald is founder, president, and CEO of the Securities Investors Association (Singapore).

Above is part of an article by David Gerald in the CNA on the SPH saga of 'inflated circulation figures'. Brackets and in bold were my additions.  There are many questions that the public would want to know. The critics are out in full force to demand for transparency and accountability.

Not to worry, the govt would not leave any stone unturned to get to the bottom of this. There will be no cover ups. Everyone involved would be named. No one is above the law. Just give the govt some time. Singapore is well known for being an incorruptible nation and wearing the badges of honour, honesty and transparency on its chest.

Just be patient. It may take as long and as thorough as the Aljunied Hougang Town Council case, but the truth would be told. The best auditors would he hired to dig through the files. And for sure many MPs would be asking questions in Parliament for the truth.
