Arrogant US Will ‘Allow’ India to Buy Russian Oil, Threatens Sanctions If New Delhi Buys Too Much

India will be “allowed” to buy Russian energy resources, but will face a “great risk” if it fails to comply with western sanctions, a senior Biden administration official has warned.

“The US has no objection to India buying Russian oil provided it buys it at a discount, without significantly increasing from previous years. Some increase is allowed,” the unnamed official told Reuters.

The anonymous official did not elaborate on whether this “great risk” might mean US secondary sanctions, nor what precisely would constitute a “significant” rise in the purchase of Russian energy.

“We, over the next several days and weeks, are going to be stepping up the enforcement of sanctions. We are telling everybody, everywhere around the world to ensure you are compliant with sanctions…this is the message to everyone,” the official said.

Last week, President Biden rebuked India for its “somewhat shaky” response to the Russian military operation in Ukraine. Indian officials responded by pointing to western hypocrisy of continuing to buy Russian oil and gas while trying to press New Delhi into shunning Russian energy supplies.

US and European officials have expressed consternation about how India, Pakistan and other non-western countries have responded to the Ukraine calamity, including over the way regional rivals New Delhi and Islamabad, who rarely agree on anything, jointly abstained from condemning Russia at the UN General Assembly. Earlier this month, Pakistani President Imran Khan slammed western envoys calling on Pakistan to denounce the Russian operation in Ukraine. “What do you think of us? Are we your slaves … that whatever you say, we will do?” Khan asked.

Indian officials expressed similar anger. Last week, a planned trip by a high-powered delegation of senior UK lawmakers including Commons speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle to New Delhi and Rajasthan was cancelled after the Indian government refused to meet them.

Singapore is now the most powerful country in Asia

Believe it or not, Hsien Loong's visit to the USA and sitting side by side with the President of the most powerful state in the world, like abang adek, speaks volume of the power of Singapore. No other national leaders could be seen in such a position, other than Zelensky with Donald Trump in the White House. And this is not all, Hsien Loong met almost every American leader of importance, from Nancy Pelosi, Lloyd Austin and Kamala Harris and many others. Every American leaders found time to meet him. This time he was so well received that in many ways he had outdone his father. It would be nice if he also had dinner with Donald Trump, the incoming President. The Istana could look forward to many busy years when American leaders would come back again to seek counsel and wisdom like LKY's time.

Before the visit, Singapore is already recognised as the most powerful state in SE Asia. Now with so many strategic agreements signed with the USA, it is like Singapore is now sitting on the shoulder of the Americans, or like the Chinese say, tiger with added wings. Who still dares to mess around with Singapore? Even the Russians also got tekan by Singapore, sanctioned, funds and assets frozen etc etc like what the Americans are doing. Singapore really sees Russia no up, lecturing Russia on grounds of principles, that no big bully state should invade small states. Like real.

Who in Asean would dare to do such things to the Russians, the country that has more nuclear warheads than the Americans, the most nuclear warheads in the world? Some Asean states had, in one time or another, threatened to go to war with China, but never did anyone dare to do the same to Russia.  Singapore did not threaten with empty talks. Singapore 'just do it'. This is really a show of strength, punching above its weight, not just say, say only.

Looks like the only Asian power that can give Singapore a little fight is China. Singaporeans can be proud of being Singaporeans, being citizens of such a powerful nation state. And according to an official survey, most Singaporeans support the govt's tough and principled stand against Russia. With all Singaporeans united behind the govt and its wise leadership, Singapore is fearless. Respect.

Now which country dares to say no respect to Singapore? I would bet no Asean state would dare to take such a stand against Russia. They might try with China, but not Russia. Only Singapore can.

US Warns India Not to Help Russia Undermine Dollar

A top US national security official has called on India to scale back its economic and military ties with Russia, warning of “consequences” for any nation that helps Moscow avoid the recent wave of Western sanctions.

Speaking to reporters after meeting with Indian officials on Thursday, Washington’s deputy national security adviser for international economics, Daleep Singh, urged New Delhi not to boost Russian energy imports, and to avoid any moves that might “undermine” the US dollar.

“What we would not like to see is a rapid acceleration of India’s imports from Russia as it relates to energy or any other any other exports that are currently being prohibited by the US,” he said, adding that the United States is “very keen for all countries, especially our allies and partners, not to create mechanisms that prop up the ruble and that attempt to undermine the dollar-based financial system.”

While condemning Russia’s “needless war” on Ukraine, Singh said his visit to India was “in a spirit of friendship to explain the mechanisms of our sanctions,” but nonetheless warned that there would be “consequences [for] countries that actively attempt to circumvent or backfill” those penalties.

Asked what those consequences could entail, the adviser declined to elaborate, saying that was part of “private discussions that I’m not going to share publicly.”

Singh’s remarks followed reports that Moscow and New Delhi are currently working out a rupee-ruble payment system, which would allow the two nations to conduct bilateral trade in each others’ currencies. India also recently agreed to buy a quantity of Russian crude oil at a discount, an unpopular decision with the US and some allies, who have embarked on a punitive sanctions campaign designed to isolate Russia’s economy and wreck the ruble.

Often portrayed as the “architect” of the US sanctions regime on Moscow, Singh went on to cite growing ties between Russia and China, cautioning that their partnership could have major consequences for India, which has long been locked in a territorial dispute with Beijing along the Sino-Indian border.

“If you set that against the reality that China and Russia have now declared a no limits partnership, and that Russia has said that China is its most important strategic partner, by extension, that has real implications for India,” he said, claiming that Moscow would not “come running to India’s defense” in the event of a Chinese incursion.

US Plot to Oust Pakistan PM Imran Khan Revealed

Allegations of America’s involvement in the no-confidence motion against the Imran Khan-led government

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday named the United States as the country behind a ‘threat letter’ that showed evidence of a foreign conspiracy to oust his government.

On Wednesday, Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government confirmed that its allegation about a foreign conspiracy was based on a diplomatic cable received from one of the country’s missions abroad.

“The letter stated that the no-confidence motion was being tabled even before it was filed, which means the Opposition was in contact with them,” Khan alleged in his address to the nation.

At a massive public meeting held on Sunday in Islamabad, Khan had pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket and waved it at the crowd, claiming it was evidence of an “international conspiracy” being hatched to topple his government.

Khan, 69, said the memo was against him, not against the government. “…it stated that if the no-confidence motion passes, Pakistan will be forgiven, if not, there will be consequences.” He stated that it was an “official letter” that was communicated to Pakistan’s ambassador, who was taking notes during the meeting.

The premier said the envoy was told that if Imran Khan remains in power, Pakistan would face “difficulties”.

“I am telling my nation today that this is our status. We are a nation of 220 million and another country — and they are not giving any reason — [is issuing threats]. They said that Imran Khan decided to go to Russia on his own even though the Foreign Office and the military leadership was consulted.

“Our ambassador told them that the decision [to visit Russia was made after consultations] but they are denying it and saying that ‘it was only because of Imran Khan and that our ties cannot be good if he stays.’ What they are actually saying is that they have no issue with the people who will replace Imran Khan.

Khan met President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin on February 24, the day the Russian leader ordered a “special military operation” against Ukraine. Khan also became the first Pakistani premier to visit Russia in 23 years after former premier Nawaz Sharif travelled to Moscow in 1999.

Earlier this month, Pakistan had abstained from voting in United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) resolution calling on Russia to stop the war, and urged that the conflict be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.

Pakistan’s ties with Russia have moved past the bitter Cold War hostilities in recent years and the chill in the relations between Pakistan and the US has further pushed the country towards Russia and China.

At the same time, Pakistan’s relations with the US have been lukewarm and President Joe Biden is yet to make a customary call to Prime Minister Khan since his appointment in January 2021.

PS. The Americans are a people that spent their time inciting wars, interfering in other country's domestic affairs, conducting regime change, creating instability. This is the irresponsible behaviour and characteristic of the evil American Empire. They stir shit and create instability everywhere, away from their homeland.

Lynching finally recognised as a hate crime - So unbelievable!

President Biden has signed the Emmett Till Antilynching Act

US President Joe Biden signed the Emmett Till Antilynching Act into law on Tuesday, making lynching a federal hate crime for the first time in American history. The law is named after Emmett Till, a 14-year-old African American boy who was tortured and killed by two white men in Mississippi in 1955.

“Lynching was pure terror to enforce the lie that not everyone belongs in America and not everyone is created equal,” the president said at the White House after signing the bill. “Racial hate isn’t an old problem. It’s a persistent problem. Hate never goes away. It only hides. All of us have to stop it.”

Earlier this month, the bill passed the Senate by unanimous consent and the House of Representatives by a vote of 422 with only 3 congressmen voting against it.  RT

It is so unbelievable that this preacher of love, human rights, democracy, has taken so long to recognise that lynching is a hate crime. Or was it an act of White men's love for the black men that they kept it so dearly in their heart, not to call it a hate crime?

Black slavery and lynching were the crimes the Americans and Europeans are infamous for. They thoroughly enjoyed the these acts against the blacks as an expression of their manhood, that they are the masters of the blacks they caught from Africa, to be their slaves, to be abused, beaten and lynched sometimes for no reason, but to satisfy their urge to kill, and entertaining themselves and their egos.

And these people, their ancestors and those living today, have the gall to around preaching human rights and freedom and kindness and condemning others with fabricated lies of atrocities against another race. And many sillies and unthinking believed in them, that they are angels on earth, walking around with a halo on their devilish heads.

Why wait until now to abolish this evil and cruel act? Why don't they just preserve it as part of their great tradition, something to be proud of, not to be ashamed of. And you have 3 rogues that voted against this act. Can you believe that?

The hypocrisies of they white men is beyond belief. Now with this Act they are going to strut around the world with it as a badge of honour, that they have abolished slavery and its sadistic brother, lynching. They are so proud of it, like they have done a great act of compassion.

Where are the remorse and shame? Are the descendants of the blacks going to praise them for their kind acts to make this a crime? Are the white Americans going to go around hugging every black man and kissing him, and telling him, don't worry, we would not lynch you again?

What if this Act is not passed, would they still be lynching the blacks and waiting to do it again?

How much more evilness and wickedness need to be exposed before their evilness would be recognised and their deceits and lies be painted on their faces? Pompeo was so proud to announce in Congress, 'We cheat, we lie, we steal and...we kill', and he was received with approval by the whole house...and could run for President. Such evil man is highly adored and admired in this evil country. And there is the lying racist and white supremacist Trump, being welcomed by the supremacists as a national hero. This is the American culture, a culture of hate and wickedness, while they walked around carrying the bible and wearing white robes, preaching love and human rights.

Ukraine - The rise and fall and the rebound of the Roubles

As usual, I have the good and bad news over the Ukraine war from Channel News America. Take it with some salt if you like. I did that.

The bad news is that the Ruble has strengthened very rapidly, which means unfriendly countries now have to use more of their local currencies to buy Ruble to pay for the gas and oil. That will have a further lifting feeling for the Ruble going forward. What is even more painful, for Japan in particular, is that the Yen has been sliding downwards. Japan must be baffled by this too. Careful, because they started a war when pushed against the wall before.

From the initial start of the conflict and imposition of sanctions, the Ruble actually went down to 140 Rubles to the US$. Biden was gloating how successful he was with the sanctions, and wanting to bring the Ruble down to 200 Rubles to the US$ to collapse the Russian economy. Putin just played one simple card and chaos ensued all over Europe, Japan, and those unfriendly countries. All the Washington and Brussels Gang of geniuses thought they could outfox one man Putin. Today the US$ is just worth 76 Rubles. Realistically, how much is Putin's strategic ability worth compared to all the geniuses in Washington and Brussels? That same question had been asked about Xi earlier.

Now for the most important news. Russian soldiers, from running tanks over their own commanders, are now shooting down their own planes. And it is reported by some MSM that Russian soldiers are eating dogs because they are fed up with eating rations. Now, will animal lovers now investigate Russia's act of cruelty to animals as another issue from this report? This is a sure sign that the Russians are on the verge of collapsing. Why then is Zelensky negotiating for a ceasefire? He should push the Russians back into Russia if Ukraine is winning the war, right.

The other important news (I could not differentiate whether it is good or bad, as it affects two sides, but definitely important) is that the USA is releasing oil stocks to lower the oil prices. But a few dollars is not going to make any difference to Europe if the USA's oil and gas is going to cost them five times or more than Russian oil and gas. But as they say, no fish prawn also good. The question is for how long and how much oil stocks can the USA release without replenishing and become a National Security issue? Taking oil out and replenishing it shortly makes no difference to the supply shortage, right? And of course Russia can just keep it's oil reserves underground for as long as they like. And it is said that when Russia fights a war, it is going for the long haul, just like against Hitler and Napoleon. So, sit tight and see who blinks first.

News is now so difficult to comprehend. There are fake new, fabricated news, alternative news, selective news, distorted news and even contorted news like dog eating.

Aussies - the Bullies in the South Pacific

While hyping rumors and creating fear that China is aggressively expanding its military in the South Pacific region, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison is lobbying Pacific Island nations against a draft security agreement between China and the Solomon Islands, desperately trying to maintain its role of "South Pacific bully" under its hegemonic and colonialist mentality.

Morrison held talks with counterparts from Fiji and Papua New Guinea over the Solomon Islands' cooperation with China.

Western media has been saying that the agreement sparked alarm in Canberra, Wellington and Washington, at the same time circulating rumors that the deal could "pave the way for China's ships to be based in the Pacific and to have a naval base."

Australian Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce suggested China was pursuing a base because it was "trying to restrict our capacity of movement and intimidate us."

The normal law enforcement and security cooperation between China and Solomon Islands is sincerely welcomed by the two governments and two peoples. China and the Solomon Islands are two independent sovereign states, and the normal cooperation between the two countries is in line with international law and practice, conducive to social stability and enduring peace and stability, which will contribute to the common interests of countries in the region.

Why are there concerns of the US and Australia? The US has been sending military aircraft and warships to other countries' doorsteps all year round, posing a serious threat to the sovereignty and security of relevant countries, created the militarized clique that brought nuclear proliferation risks to the Pacific, deliberately stoking tensions, creating confrontation and casting a shadow over regional peace and stability.

Australia, which has been sucking the US' nipples, should earnestly respect the sovereignty of the Solomon Islands and the decisions it has made independently, rather than assuming that they are entitled and privileged to define what other countries should and should not do from a condescending position.

Ukraine - The consequences of having an idiot or a clown as a political leader

A couple of months back Ukraine was a country enjoying it peace and at the same time attacking the Russian speaking Ukrainians in the East as it it was its birth right. No one could stop the shelling and massacre of blond and blue eye Ukrainians by blue eye Ukrainians. The warnings by Russia fell on deaf ears. Ukraine was untouchable, the blue eye darling of the American Empire.

Zelensky must be very pleased with himself and his new masters that constantly told him how great he was, that they loved him and what he was doing. They promised him the sky, to back him up in every way, would welcome him into Nato. The elated Zelensky could not tell the difference between acting or being real and believed everything the Americans told him behind closed doors.

The tragedies in Ukraine is still unfolding and a very fine example for the world to see. Its economy has stood still, country's infrastructure smashed, its citizens fled as refugees or killed under constant bombing in a war that needed not happen. This is what would happen to a country being led by an idiot that believed he was a God sent genius. Do not underestimate the power of the stupid to believe in what they could do.

Now he is crying father and mother everyday. Where are my good friends, my backers and supporters, and the weapons and aids they promised to send? Please help, please talk to me, I can't be fighting a major world power, a nuclear power, all on my own. My people are dying, my country is in ruins.

How many leaders in Asean aspiring to be another Zelensky, to plunge their country into a silly war that could not be won, and hoping the evil Americans would come to their aid? Fortunately, I think, seeing that Asean refused to be sucked or coerced by the Americans to take sides and sanction Russia, that this tragedy would never happen in SE Asia, a region of peace and neutrality.

The very likely candidate to become another Zelensky, yes, one very promising candidate that has all the characters and stupidity of Zelensky is there, waiting to throw the country and people to suffer the same fate as Ukraine. The candidate may think this is fun, or unreal, and happily going around provoking another super power, urged and goaded along by the evil American Empire. Would its people stand up to remove this candidate before they ended up dead or as refugees like the Ukrainians?

The Taiwanese, not the Japanese passing themselves off as Taiwanese, better act fast and stop their leader from leading them to death and destruction. They cannot let her go bonkers and behaving like a mad woman, thumping her chest, like Zelensky used to do, and thinking that nothing would happen to her and Taiwan and the Chinese people in the island. They have to act fast, arrest this woman and put her behind bars to prevent more damage being done to them and the island by this Zelensky to be of the East.

Asia or at least East Asia, has enjoyed a period of peace after the Americans got chased out of Vietnam. But they are back, sabre rattling in the South China Sea, trying to provoke a war with China. It was a kind of divine intervention to have Duterte as the President in a time like this. Otherwise the Philippines would have become Ukraine by now.  There are many Zelensky potentials in the Philippines who think they are coloured cowboys of the East.

Would any Asian leader be dumb enough, bad enough, and egoistic enough, to want to bring the warmongering Americans to start another war in Asia? Kim Jong An would not let it happen. China and Russia would not let it happen. Asia belongs to Asians, not white men. Asia is not the backwaters of white men, to come here to stir shit and destabilise the region, and dictate to Asians for the interests of the American Empire.

The Solomon Islands have just become another flash point with the descendants of convicts behaving like their convict forefathers, wanting to start a war with China. Come on Morrison, just do it, declare war on China if you dare. Show the countries here that Australia is a very powerful country that can take on another nuclear power like Zelensky did. Yes, another blue eye blond leader, another Zelensky in the making. What are you waiting for? China can be pushed around by mighty Australia with the full backing of the evil American Empire. Go, go for it! Let's see where the Australian refugees would flee to when war started with China. China does not have to set foot on Australia to bomb Australia with its missiles. The whole of Australia is within range of Chinese missiles. China does not need a base in the Solomons to hit Australia.

Taking potshots at China with your mouth is easy. Do the real thing and the Asean countries would be looking at how brave and how good you are.

PS. Below is a flattering view of Zelensky as a great leader by a Tang Li in TRE. Would Singapore's leader want to be another Zelensky and be voted 'the Leader of the Year' and admired by some Singaporeans...the embodiment of ideal leadership?

'Being down and in the s***house should provide “real” people with the drive that they need to get out of a bad place. Just look at the “Leader of the Year,” the Ukrainian President, Mr. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who has become the living embodiment of every ideal of leadership. He’s united the Ukrainian people against a much more powerful enemy. He’s stayed in a situation where the risk of being wiped out is very real. He’s not hiding in a bunker but goes to the front line and the results have been good. He’s managed to hold off a much larger military force. Russia is not waltzing in and taking control.'

New World Currency Order is Coming

A new financial order will be negotiated in the world, and the West won’t have the main say in it anymore as the “hellish” sanctions imposed on Russia by the US, EU, and their allies over the conflict in Ukraine have failed to cripple the country, but are instead “returning to the West like a boomerang,” ex-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said.

While the West continues its “fruitless efforts” to restrict Russia, “the world is gradually moving towards a new logic of global economic relations; towards upgrading the financial system,” he said.

The US and EU have “tarnished their reputation” by blocking the reserves of the Russian central bank. “It is impossible to trust those who freeze the accounts of other states; steal other people’s business assets and personal possessions, compromising the principles of sanctity of private property,” Medvedev said .

A targeted demonetisation of the world’s most globalised currencies has big implications. The weaponisation of those currencies and of the financial systems that handle them undermines those properties for any holder who fears being targeted. Sanctions on Russia’s central bank are a shock. Who, governments ask, is next? What does it mean for our sovereignty?

Confidence in reserve currencies is now “fading like the morning mist,” and the prospect of abandoning the dollar and euro in this role does not seem like such an unrealistic prospect anymore, Medvedev said. “The era of regional currencies is coming.”

Russia said that from March 31, it will only accept payments for gas in rubles from “unfriendly countries,” which include the US and EU, while China and Saudi Arabia have been discussing switching to the yuan in their oil trade.

Meanwhile, the German government has taken the first formal step towards gas rationing as it braces itself for a potential halt in deliveries from Russia because as the West refuses to comply with Moscow’s demand for gas imports in rubles.

Russian officials said on Tuesday that Moscow would not “supply gas for free” to Europe, a day after G7 countries unanimously rejected President Vladimir Putin’s directive requiring ruble payments.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the country should consider selling a wider range of exports in rubles, such as grain, fertilisers, metals, wood and oil. "There are many countries that are showing an interest in mutual settlements in national currencies,” he said.

The world is now rushing to find ways of transacting and storing value that circumvent the currencies and financial markets of the US and its allies.

A recent pamphlet by Harvard’s Graham Allison and colleagues on The Great Economic Rivalry concludes that China is already a formidable peer competitor of the US. History suggests that the currency of an economy of its size, sophistication and integration would become a global money.

Also in Digital Currencies, a pamphlet from the Hoover Institution, it states that a credible alternative to the dollar system is China’s Cross-Border Interbank Payment System (Cips — an alternative to the Swift system) and digital currency (the e-CNY). Both might become a dominant payment system and vehicle currency, respectively, for trade between China and its many trading partners. In the long run, the e-CNY might also become a significant reserve currency. Moreover, argues the pamphlet, that would give the Chinese state detailed knowledge of the transactions of every entity within its system. That would be an additional source of power.

The Evil Empire and its deputy sheriff Australia still think white men can continue to rule Asia

The Evil Empire and its deputy sheriff Australia still think white men can continue to practise extraterritorial rights in this world especially in Asia. They are building little blocs here and there to bully others into submission to maintain white supremacy and primacy in hegemony. However, some Asian and Latin American countries have awakened to the insidious white men's policy of 'Divide and Rule' and are resisting the Anglo-Saxon white American insidious attempts to make use of their countries as pawns and proxies in their conflict and competition against Russia and China. A quotation from an article in Global Times below will exemplify the fear of these countries as articulated by the Philippinos.

" Since Ukraine crisis broke out, there are some voices of reflection in the Philippines. They argue that the country needs to avoid the fate of Ukraine, reject Washington's warmongering, and avoid at all costs becoming a "proxy" or a pawn of any major power to encircle another one. The recent situation in Ukraine is a warning to the rest of the world that the security of one country cannot be guaranteed at the expense of undermining security of others, and that regional security cannot be guaranteed by strengthening or even expanding military blocs. Asian countries are not willing to repeat the troubles Washington made in Europe.""

"Peace and stability in Asia are hard-earned and cannot be sabotaged by extraterritorial countries. Washington wants to forcefully peddle its old security concept in Asia, dumping "Cold War garbage" into the Pacific Ocean, even trying to create an "Indo-Pacific version of NATO." In the end, its dream will be crushed by the hard rocks of the Pacific Ocean."

Lee Hsien Loong - Crazy decisions and rogue behaviours of big powers to invade countries

“If a principle is accepted, that crazy decisions and historical errors are the justification for invading somebody else, I think many of us are going to be feeling very insecure in the Asia Pacific, but also the rest of the world.”

And at a global level, what used to be "win-win cooperation" - despite disagreements - on issues such as trade, climate change and nuclear non-proliferation has now changed, said Mr Lee.

“Now it’s win-lose - you want the other guy to be down, fix him, crash his economy,” said Mr Lee. “So how then do most of the countries, if possible, hang together and cooperate with one another and not fall into disorder, autarky or anarchy?” Lee Hsien Loong - CNA

The above quote by Hsien Loong during his recent visit to the US has 3 parts to think about. The first is about crazy decisions and historical errors to invade another country. Which invasion is more serious, the invasion of Ukraine or Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan or Libya? For Ukraine, it is the threat of nuclear and biochemical weapons at the door step of Russia. In the case of Iraq, it was a fake threat, a fabricated lie of WMD. In the case of Syria and Afghanistan, it was another fabricated lie of terrorist threat against the continent of USA by poor tribesmen. In Libya's case, it was a country that did not want to sell its oil in US$.

Which is a crazy threat and which is a crime against humanity?  You judge.

The second part is about a win win cooperation that China is promoting. The evil Americans cannot accept that. To these evil white men, it must be a win for the Americans and others can only share the crumps. China cannot be richer and stronger than the Americans, just like Japan or Europe cannot be richer and stronger as well. Only the Americans can win and be the number one economy and number one bully in the world.

Is this reasonable and acceptable? That the world must be controlled and ruled by the American Empire?

The third part, which follows the second part, only the Americans can win and if not, they would put down the other guy, fix him and crash his economy. They had done that to Japan, Europe and Russia and now attacking Russia. Is this the rule of law of the American Empire? Is this American version of democracy and human rights, that they would dictate to others to obey them, and if not, they would sanction and fix or crash the economy of another country.

Would Singapore and the rest of the world accept this dictate and obnoxious bullying by the Americans? What the Americans are doing to Russia, and wanting to do to China, and to any country that wants to be richer and stronger, is the American version of the world order.  Should this be dismissed and dismantled, and thrown into the dark corners of history, not allowed to be the governing principles of international relationship?  Why should the world be bullied by the Americans and let them live in glory and riches at the expense of the rest of the world?

What do you think? Who is the rogue country?

Ukraine - Speaking of wars and US weapons

'It is now clear that the Pentagon leadership has seen the utterly dismal performance of the Javelin and now wants to phase it out from U.S. forces. Remember, out of thousands of Javelins supplied, thousands of videos published by Ukraine, not a single successful usage of the system has ever been recorded. In fact the vast majority of successful Ukrainian defeats of Russian armor happens at the ends of legacy Soviet/Russian systems and mostly artillery. Russian forces continue to find Javelin units completely unused because Ukr troops have found them to be unwieldy and impractical in combat – too long to set up and use, too heavy to carry around, and not effective even when used. For urban combat where troops have to be as light, mobile, and agile as possible, the Javelin is absolutely worthless with its large CLU interface and overly-bulky design. The Pentagon has clearly seen the failure of the over-hyped system.

-In another sudden and unexpected report, the Pentagon now wants to scrap DOZENS of F-22’s.

https://www.rt.com/news/552870-pentagon-budget-f-22-jets-boneyard/

They have suddenly decided they want to ‘divert funding’ to the next generation platform. There is clearly connection here to something the Pentagon has witnessed in Ukraine that has left it scrambling to rethink its approach to modern warfare. You see all proxy wars are laboratories for Great Powers to test and assess their equipment. The F-22 was the flagship of the U.S. airforce, the ONLY plane forbidden by Congress to sell to any ally even in ‘export version’. The F-35 was meant for the export market while F-22 was supposed to be solely the unique and unmatched great hope and pinnacle of American engineering that would lead to victories in future wars. But it seems now that the Pentagon has had a taste of what modern Russian air defenses / radars are capable in Ukraine and is no longer confident of the F-22’s chances. It has suddenly scrambled to desperately dump the F-22 and prepare for the “next generation” platform titled the ‘Next Generation Air Dominance’ project, which would consist of heavily utilizing integrated drone warfare and possible drone swarms controlled by the pilot. This appears to indicate the U.S. sees no other way to defeat Russian air defenses and airpower in general apart from massive over-utilization of integrated drone saturation – it can no longer count on F-22’s after seeing how Russia has completely nullified the Ukrainian air and anti-air capabilities, which by the way were orders of magnitude greater than the capabilities of the Serbians in the 90’s who humiliated the U.S. air force several times.'

Australia calling to invade Solomon Islands - White men's hypocrisy and aggression at its height

Calls for Australia to INVADE the Solomon Islands, 'engineer' regime change before it strikes a deal with China: 'This is our Cuban missile crisis'

Hegemonic and colonist mentality behind Australia’s threats to invade Solomon Islands

It's ridiculous that Australia, on one hand, has closely followed the US in condemning what it perceives Russia's "brutal and unprovoked invasion" of Ukraine, but on the other, its elites bluntly threatened to invade its neighbor in the South Pacific and foster a regime change.

A Reuters report on Thursday saying that a proposal for a broader security agreement with China that would be sent to the Solomon Islands' cabinet for consideration has caused shockwaves through Canberra. David Llewellyn-Smith, founding publisher of MacroBusiness and former owner of leading Asia-Pacific foreign affairs journal The Diplomat, suggested a day later that Australia "must ready Solomon Islands invasion." Calling the China-Solomon Islands deal "Australia's Cuban missile crisis," Smith said "If it must, the nation [Australia] should invade and capture Guadalcanal such that we engineer regime change in Honiara" to protect Australia's "sovereignty and democracy."

Australian elites threatened to invade Solomon Islands simply because the latter hopes to strengthen security cooperation with China. Canberra has carried out much military cooperation with the US, including signing the AUKUS deal that will help it acquire nuclear-powered submarines. Don't Canberra's actions pose a greater threat to China?

This shows the hypocrisy and double standards of Australia's frantic elites. It also lays bare Australia's ingrained hegemonic and colonialist mentality toward South Pacific island countries. Australia has no respect for the Solomon Islands and other South Pacific island countries at all, instead, it has long regarded them as its backyard, treating island countries in the region as sphere of influence or even vassal states. When these countries hope to expand relations with others, Australia instantly reacts hysterically.

Australia is trying to obstruct the Solomon Islands' normal cooperation with China even with the threat of an invasion. This shows Australia's obsession with hegemonism. Australia has long been seeking to be the "minor hegemon" in the South Pacific region. To this end, Australia maliciously distorted the security cooperation between China and the Solomon Islands.

The bilateral cooperation in law enforcement and security areas in fact is a response to last year's riots in the Solomon Islands during which Chinese nationals there suffered great losses with their shops smashed, burned and looted and their personal safety in jeopardy. Given the presence of Chinese nationals in the Solomon Islands and with the development and expansion of normal ties between the two countries, it's natural for the two sides to beef up security cooperation.

The waning of the Australian influence in the South Pacific region is because of Australia's hegemonic mindset toward those countries. No country in the region would expect Australia, which can easily threaten to invade, to truly help its development.

PS. China must stand up and defend the Solomon Islands and its right to establish good relations with the Islands and all Pacific Islands. It must not allow this white rogue country to bully the Pacific Island community.

Petrol price up, GST up, what else is not up?

Our Current Situation:
March 25, 2022 at 3:04 am (Quote)

I am 72 years old and have been unemployed. My elder son completed his University degree and also have not been able to get employment for the past two years. My younger son who completed his Polytechnic diploma is also unemployed but now trying to get admission to the local University.

My wife who is going to retire soon is doing clerical duties and is now supporting the four of us with S$3,000 salary.

My family is a good example of a local family in deep shits because of our government FT policy. Really disappointed.

Above is a comment from a reader to an article in TRE about the out of touch PAP Minister by a Prabu Ramachandran. Contrast this guy's pathetic situation to those that are claiming to be earning $10k pm or more and the ministers million or more annual income. What is real or what is fake? Both are equally real, depending on what you want to see and want to know and what you do not want to see and do not want to know.

To the 72 year old guy, every small increase in prices of anything, transport fare, kopi, chicken rice etc etc, is going to be very painful and unaffordable. To those high earners, what is $50, or what is $10m?

It is all relative depending on where you are and how lucky or unlucky you are, or like some like to boast, how smart or not smart one is.

The 72 year old guy is lucky that his two sons have completed their studies and not having to pay with the high tuition fees for our excellent quality education, the more you pay, the better the quality of education. But not necessary when applying for jobs. In the latter, the lower you pay for tuition fees, very likely it is easier to get a job in Singapore, but not in the same third world country they came from.

Funny isn't it? Our first world country, producing A grade students and getting the best and most expensive university or polytechnic education, cannot compete with third world graduates from funny universities with tuition fees that cost only a fraction of ours, and according to our standard of measurement, lower tuition fees mean lower quality of education, but these graduates from funny universities that are supposedly lower in quality according to our definition, are the preferred and choiced candidates for employment here. And our university and poly graduates are mostly spending time tweedling their thumbs at homes, CANNOT GET A JOB!

Whose fault is this? Anyone should be responsible for the shit that our young are facing and suffering? No, no one is at fault. If there is, it is our young, that they should not be wasting time getting that piece of paper call degrees. They should just go out and look for a job, like a food delivery boy, or guarding the entrance to a shopping mall or office tower, or if their daddy happens to own a car, go and be a Grab driver. Do not apply for permanent jobs. Those jobs need qualifications from funny and cheap universities from the third world countries.

Vote for the best political party and pay them millions, and everything will be fine. Continue to get your world best degrees and stay at home tweedling your thumbs. You are well taken care of, very well taken care of.

And do not any how spend, save for the rainy day, provided you are working and have a income to save, in this most expensive city in the world. It is a miracle how Singaporeans like the 72 year old guy could manage to survive with two graduate unemployed children. This is Uniquely Singapore, which can afford to bring in half a million foreigners, give them good and permanent jobs, but could not give jobs to its very own citizens with university and polytechnic degrees.

What the fuck is going on? Who cares? Why should people earning more than $10k or in the millions be caring when they are gloating about how lucky or clever they are? And if they did not get their million dollar salary, their lifestyle would be affected.

Japan Baffled by Putin's Simple Demand to Pay for Russian Gas in Rubles

On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said “unfriendly countries” would continue to receive Russian natural gas in volumes and prices fixed in contracts, but are now to pay for the commodity in the country’s national currency.

In Asia, these include Japan, South Korea, and China's Taiwan, which import liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Russia’s Sakhalin-2 and Yamal LNG projects.

Commenting on the development, Japanese Finance Minister Shun’ichi Suzuki claimed that Tokyo is confused about Russia’s demand, which is actually rather simple - no ruble means no gas.

Japan is the biggest importer of Russian LNG in Asia, purchasing 6.84 million tons of liquefied gas from the country in 2021, according to Refinitiv data, which is nearly 9% of its total LNG imports.

“Frankly speaking, we do not yet fully understand the goals and how this will be carried out… the government is currently in discussions with the responsible ministries and agencies to assess the situation,” Suzuki state.

Russia's goal is clear - retaliation for Japan's sanctions.

After Japan imposed far-reaching economic penalties on Russia following its special military operation in Ukraine, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Japan is damaging Russian interests by taking an "obviously unfriendly" stance toward the country, and withdrew from negotiations with Japan for a peace treaty to formally end World War II hostilities.

In addition to exiting the peace talks, Russia ended visa-free travel to a chain of Russian-controlled islands called the Northern Territories by Tokyo and the Southern Kurils by Russia.

On Friday, Russian military said it has started a military exercise involving more than 3,000 troops on a chain of islands including those disputed with Japan, Russian news agency Interfax reported.

PS.  The Japanese are acting blur. The debt that the Japanese owed to Russia, the Koreas and China they also pretended that nothing had happened. These debts would be settled one day and there would be no Japan left to talk about.

West accused of double standards on Ukraine

Qatar and Saudi Arabia have shamed the West for paying more attention to the war in Ukraine than to events in the Middle East

The US’ major non-NATO ally Qatar, along with Saudi Arabia, have shamed the West for paying disproportionately more attention to Ukraine than to conflicts in nations across the Middle East.

“The humanitarian suffering that we have seen in Ukraine … has been the suffering of a lot of countries in this region for years, and nothing happened,” Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani said during roundtable talks at the annual Doha Forum on Saturday.

He reminded delegates of “the brutality against the Syrian people, or against the Palestinians, or against the Libyans, or against the Iraqis, or against the Afghans,” and said that, in his view, “we have never seen a global response to address those sufferings.”

The US and the EU have spearheaded the international campaign to back Ukraine during its ongoing conflict with Russia, which has included delivering weapons and other aid to the Kiev government and imposing draconian economic sanctions on Moscow.

The events in Ukraine should become “a wake-up call for everyone in the international community to look at our region and to address the issues … with the same level of commitment,” the FM insisted.

The Qatari stance was backed by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, who agreed that “the engagement of the global community … it’s quite different.”

“The trans-Atlantic unity right now, its commendable. But I think you have to have a much better conversation with the rest of the global community,” he added.

Qatar and Saudi Arabia are considered strategic allies of the West, with the US having recently awarded the former the status of “major non-NATO ally.” Still, the two wealthy Gulf nations have so far maintained a neutral stance on the situation in Ukraine due to their ties with Russia, unlike some US satellites which didn't hesitate to jump on the Western wagon to impose unilateral sanctions on Russia.

PS. The pathetic part about this is that the Arab and Muslim world still believes that the Americans can be nice and fair to them after centuries of rape, plunder, massacres, looting and exploitation. When would the Arabs and Muslims open their eyes to see the devil?

US little sheriff and hegemon Australia posts a deadly threat to South Pacific island countries and ASEAN.

Australia the little South Pacific hegemon has openly threatened to invade the South Pacific Solomon Islands country for regime change because it says Solomon Islands is strengthening security cooperation with China.  What shit is Australia talking when it claims that it must invade Solomon Islands to protect Australia's sovereignty and democracy.

Australia has carried out military cooperation with the US including signing the QUAD and AUKUS deal to acquire nuclear-powered submarines which post a serious threat to China and ASEAN countries.

Australia is against Russia's invasion of Ukraine but it thinks it has the right to invade the Solomon Islands. This shows the hypocrisy and double standards of Australia. It lays bare Australia's hegemonic and colonialist mentality toward South Pacific island countries. Australia just has no respect for the Solomom Islands and other South Pacific  island countries at all. It has always arrogantly treat the South Pacific islands as its backyard and sphere of influence  or vassal states. When these countries hope to expand relations with others it reacts hysterically.

China is providing South Pacific island countries with more options in terms of economic development and security. But the white supremacist Australia which has been a little hegemon in the region for hundreds of years and yet never do anything to help the countries in the region to develop economically view China's presence there as a threat to its hegemony.

Last year Australia together with US and Taiwan's DPP  instigated and fomented a riot in Solomon Islands in which Chinese shops were burnt and looted and many Chinese nationals killed. But with increase Chinese help in economic development and the expansion of ties and presence of Chinese nationals it is only natural for the government of Solomon Islands and China  to boost up and strengthen security cooperation.

But Australia maliciously distorted the security cooperation between the Solomon Islands and China. It smeared this cooperation as a Chinese attempt to establish a military base in the Solomon Islands, claiming it would harm Australia's interests and destabilize the region. No matter how hard Australia tries to demonize China's good intention, the cooperation between China and the Solomon Islands and other South Pacific island countries will become more diverse and enriched.  China is helping the countries in the region with economic development and treats the countries as equals with mutual benefits with no political conditions attached.

Australia's influence in the region is waning because the countries in the region feel Australia has a colonial mindset with no intention of helping them to develop economically but only treat them with derision and servitude as coloured people. They feel outrageous at Australia's threat to invade their countries when they are opening up their relations with other countries especially with China.

Australia arrogantly thinks it can adopt the American version of the 'Monroe Doctrine' in the South Pacific. It must not forget that big brother Indonesia is watching and so is ASEAN. If Australia invades Solomon Islands or any of the South Pacific island countries then Indondesia with the support of ASEAN reserves the right to immediately invade Australia. When Indonesia invades Australia it will not only have the full and total support of ASEAN but also the whole support of Asia. Thus Indonesia's invasion of Australia will rectify the anomaly of the white Anglo-Saxons illegal occupation of a continent which is a part of Asia. Indonesia will rule Australia and allow the free immigration of migrants from all ASEAN countries. Australia will then be renamed as Balibangawangtan, a name more fitting to Indonesia's ownership.

China Eastern Airline crash - This is an act of war by the Americans

This pic is everywhere. No aircraft would dive in this way, like a rocket straight into earth. Below is an article posted at https://stateofthenation.co/?p=109907 by a former NSA analyst on the incident. With the reckless and evil Americans desperate to rule the world, they would do anything for it. The Americans are a menace to world peace. We are getting nearer to WW3. This cruel and nasty attack against China is the last straw. It is an undeclared war against China. China is forced to retaliate.

THE UNITED STATES REMOTE HIJACKED A CHINA EASTERN AIRLINES BOEING 737 AND FLEW IT VERTICALLY INTO THE GROUND
UPDATE: THE PLANE WAS NOT A 737 MAX 8 THAT HAD PROBLEMS. IT WAS A MODEL THAT HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE 1994.
They used the same remote hijack system that was used with the 911 planes. The United States is the only country that has the Boeing codes, the United States did this. The hijack was unexpectedly caught on a serious HD CCTV system, the plane was clearly going far in excess of the sound barrier.

At the time 911 happened I was fresh out of the NSA and had the insider info on the remote hijack capabilities. They were put in all boeing planes after 1983 to make it impossible for terrorists to hijack the planes. But that won’t stop a corrupt government with a child molesting presidential family from using it during a war. CHINA, THE UNITED STATES DID THIS. THERE IS YOUR WAR.
RUSSIA, FROM FORMER AMERICAN INTELLIGENCE, HERE IS YOUR WARNING, HEADS UP!!!

Yes, this happened hours after China did not bow down to Washington, and Washington subsequently banned and blacklisted Chinese diplomats from travel. The plane had to have been perfectly intact with no problems to hold together at that speed. This is clear. View it full screen. The United States probably figured there would not be such clear video. This is going to screw the United States out of being able to claim it is a “boeing 737 problem” but they will probably try, even though it was not this model of 737 that had problems.

All Boeing aircraft must be grounded until the remote control is deactivated. China must not allowed Boeing aircraft to fly inside China as they could be controlled like the China Eastern airline to crash anywhere like 911.

How does our MIW compared to Mr Xi Jinping?

https://www.quora.com/Do-you-think-the-Chinese-president-Mr-Xi-is-a-good-leader

'Xi Jinping is worth more than the combined total of Trump, Trudeau, Bush, Mitt Romney, Doug Ford, Boris Johnson, Scott Morrison, Shinzo Abe, Rajiv Gandhi, Silvio Berlusconi, and every other lavishly rich democratic leader who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, never had to do a day's work in his life, never had to prove his abilities as an ordinary citizen or prove his merits as a leader even minorly through objective, competitive metrics, and never had to rise up the ranks of a meritocracy.'

'Rajiv Gandhi repeatedly failed his courses at Cambridge where he was “studying" to become an engineer, and later admitted that the reason was that he simply did not care. He was never in the mood to “muck it up" for his exams, as he later admitted. From his teens onward, everyone pretty much begged him to enter politics, because of his surname. He entered politics at 36, running for a seat in parliament that had formerly been occupied by his brother; the seat passed from brother to brother like a feudal estate. Four years later Rajiv became Prime Minister. What kind of leadership is this? Government by celebrities?

The path of almost every US Senator is very similar. Born into a rich and prominent family, easily admitted into an Ivy League, was a poor student but very social, went into law or business (often the family business), and ran for his first office by his 20s without a record of actually having accomplished anything as a human. And unless he set an old lady on fire or got exposed as a paedophile, his political ascendance was assured. It's kind of like your next 10 million dollars being easier to make than your first; after your first big election win, the rest practically land in your lap. You're a brand, famous for being famous.'

American irresponsible sanctions - Urgency for a new international currency

Protecting China’s national wealth and avoiding potential Western sanctions will be at the top of Beijing’s national security agenda following the West’s financial sanctions against Moscow. The lesson for Beijing is that if the US and its allies act in unison, it does not matter whether assets are held in US dollars or in other Western currencies as they're subject to possible seizure.

As recently as last August, ex-US president Donald Trump called for all countries to “collectively cancel any debt they owe to China as a down payment on COVID reparations”. Although President Biden has rejected the idea, it's clear that seizing Chinese wealth has been on the minds of many US politicians, and possibly, of some policymakers. As at end-Jan 2022, China holds USD1,060.1 billions in US Treasury Securities.

China clearly needs to diversify its reserves away from the US dollar and the euro. However, China cannot convert all its stock of US$3.2 trillion in forex reserves into gold as the total value of above-ground gold is around US$12.5 trillion, with about half in the form of jewellery. That leaves US$6.7 trillion of gold held as a financial asset, of which US$2.1 trillion is owned by central banks and unlikely to be for sale. Remaining US$4.6 trillion is too small to absorb a sizeable chunk of China’s US$3.2 trillion of non-gold reserves.

A way to insulate Chinese assets from potential Western sanctions is to redeploy them away from Western financial system and into tangible investments in countries that are geopolitically neutral and/or pro-Beijing, such as President Xi’s Belt and Road Initiative. China’s gross outward direct investment escalated to US$1.6 trillion between 2014 and 2020, without which, China’s holdings of US dollar reserves would have continued to rise. But it's impossible for China to hold most of its overseas assets in the form of investment in tangible assets outside the Western financial system.

If the Chinese currency yuan were a global reserve currency, the vulnerability of Chinese assets would be greatly reduced. Therefore, the Chinese central bank must ensure the use of the yuan in all foreign trade settlements.
