Pyongyang has for years denied using state-linked cyber units for espionage, financial theft and revenue. Its mission in Geneva and embassy in China did not respond to requests for comment.
Members of the unit were observed by law enforcement converting stolen assets into the cryptocurrency ethereum, the FBI said in a statement, adding that it expects "further laundering" of the assets through the use of related technology....
Co-CEO Richard Teng said on Friday that the breach was a "complex attack" involving a compromised laptop and malicious software designed to delete evidence of its activity, making it harder to trace and investigate. CNA
More beliefs that the crime was conducted by the North Koreans. Nothing factual to prove.
TRM said the attackers were able to order Binance wallets to empty into hacker-controlled wallets, mirroring a 2025 heist at crypto exchange Bybit, which the FBI attributed to North Korea.
"TRM attributes the attack to ... North Korea's elite hacking unit," the firm said in an analysis posted on its website. Both TRM and Chainalysis said they were highly confident North Korea was responsible.
British blockchain analysts Elliptic also said they believed North Korea was behind the theft. CNA
Just read the above supposedly news from America and FBI and find out how much of the news are actually guessing, beliefs, spinning. The Americans are writing the script to put the blame on the North Koreans. All the named sources purported to be North Korean agencies could actually be American agencies, used to hack Binance and alleged to be North Korean units.
Remember, the North Koreans are very secretive and not a player in the international arena. How would the Americans know so much about what they do, even suggesting that the North Koreans passed the stolen money to China for money laundering. All the allegations are one sided, with more American and western agencies and individuals dragged in to give fake credence in numbers. The Americans are just spinning whatever they want and the North Koreans were not allowed to dispute, except to disclaim them and saying they have nothing to do with it.
This is American Hollywood script writing. a one sided story telling demonising the North Koreans without the need for any proof. But it would be spread widely in western media and their crony media to make it looked real, sounded real. Only the unthinking and the mischievous would believe in them and may even flag them as evidence or proof of North Korean crimes.
Remember, this is a very complex operations ' involving a compromised laptop and malicious software designed to delete evidence of its activity, making it harder to trace and investigate.' Only the Americans and residents in America will have easy access to the operating system, including compromised laptops and malicious software. How would the North Koreans in far away North Korea be able to go running around the system with compromised laptop and malicious software and undetected and getting away with billions under the nose of the world class American FBI and CIA operators?
How many think this is a false flag incident and the blame being put on the defenceless and isolated North Koreans? How many think this is likely an American inside job? Some stupid Singaporeans may even say, see, see, the Americans said so, must be true.
It is another case of the American terrorists committing a crime and put the blame on someone else.

I was more an insider helping the hacker. There were important access master keys that were compromised, which only an insider knows. Investigation or perhaps making a tight case against North Korea is ongoing, by hook or by crook as we have seen in the war against Iraq.
Who is the real gainer from this hack? The Americans of course, pocketing the loot and blaming North Korea as usual. And many silly people believe in the American lie as usual.
The Americans, through its cronies, have already planted the idea that it was the North Koreans that hacked Binance, This message has already sank in into the heads of the unthinking and brain dead. The North Koreans are the bad guys. The Americans are the good guys. The Americans would never hacked into Binance....
True. Straight away it was North Korea, even before investigations have taken place.
I know very well on social media, propaganda sites always start with the clickbait asking - can or will China be able to or do this and that. They plant a negative image of China even before exploring the issue.
