I am surprised that Trump is threatening China with just 200% tariffs being imposed if China does not give the USA more magnets. This is either gangster or mafia behavior, nothing else. Trump should have made a nuclear-size threat of 2,000% to see if he manages to move the needle against China.
China cares two hoots about doing business with the USA when its exports to USA had already been falling since the beginning of this year. More pressure exerted by Trump means less exports to USA by China in coming months. How does that figure in the tax collection masquerading as tariffs paid by USA importers and eventually passed to consumers? Scott Bessant and Howard Lutnik can continue to count chickens before they are hatched, touting tens of billions for the tax authorities every month. Absent from their boasting is the question of who pays for those tariffs.
I am sure that the 2,000% tariff on China if Trump dares to declare, will be the best opportunity for China to announce the signal for total decoupling by China and ending the constant demands for more magnets, and total boycotting by Chinese ships calling at USA ports with Christmas items, if Chinese manufacturers are not already avoiding the USA market. Chinese manufacturers should heed the sign that the earlier they avoid the USA, the better for their business with the Global South. What is the demand from a mere 350 million USA consumers, most living from paycheck to paycheck, compared to the several billions of consumers waiting for cheap Chinese goods from the Global South. It is a no brainer for Chinese manufacturers not to take advantage of the opportunity and make hay while the sun shines.
Yes, China will yet corner the Global South market for sure, while the USA and Europeans look on with greed, but unable to do anything about it. Global South countries are not going to be blackmailed by the USA to avoid buying Chinese goods or raising tariffs against Chinese imports, just like Mexico now toeing the USA line. China will retaliate against Mexico and already BYD's intention to build an EV plant in Mexico is not going ahead for geopolitical uncertainty reasons.

I am beginning to suspect someone has a hand in the protest now going on in Indonesia. Firstly, Indonesia has officially joined BRICS, and the courting of Indonesia by the USA has failed. Indonesia has rich mineral resources which the USA is eyeing. What the USA cannot achieve, it will destroy. Secondly, Indonesia's President Prabowo Subianto was earlier going to join in the Victory Day parade in Beijing but had to cancel his trip due to the unrest in Indonesia, erupting at the right time indeed.
This is what I had expected earlier regarding the targeting of Indonesia for not toeing the line. China was the first country that President Prabowo Subianto visited upon taking office, not the USA. It speaks volumes of the importance of China's relation with Indonesia. Someone definitely does not like it one bit.
India, the world's biggest democracy is now joining the SCO party in Tianjin, and one video of the trio - Putin, Modi and Xi joking and laughing together is making Trump hopping mad, so mad that he hid behind closed doors for days to sulk, LOL.
Who pushed Putin to join hands with Xi and now also pushing Modi to do likewise? It is even more jarring that the world's biggest democracy is now joining hands with two other communist state, demonized to no end by the West. Ideological differences coming together against a common enemy does work, doesn't it? Sebastian Sas, on his site is asking who is isolated now?
India must be careful looking at the protest in Indonesia. Western NGOs and the CIA are always working the ground to ferment unrest when countries do not toe the line and when the opportunity arises. India will not collapse even cutting off its trade with the USA. Modi is now building bridges with other SCO states, and these are its future, not the USA. Asking India not to buy Russian oil is cutting off India's lifeline and the earlier India distance itself from the USA the better.
But the sabotage against India is going to be a certainty. USA businesses under pressure by Trump may move out, but as in the case of China, it will not end with the collapse of India. India is still a cheap destination for doing business, which if handled properly and judiciously going forward, has all the potential to grow and lure investors in. China has no plausible reason or intent to cripple India's progress as Xi has indicated, and it is left for both countries to chart their own course for progress, if China now can trust India not being used by the USA against China.
What happens next may be the USA now using Pakistan to create problems for India. This is not far-fetched as many onlookers have commented. Russia and China need to carry out some peace mission to ensure nothing serious happens. But, of course, it is difficult to prevent a false flag by the CIA to upset the apple cart.
Prabowo better clamp down on all the NGOS immediately. All Global South countries must make all these treacherous NGOS illegal and banned them. There is no reason why they are operating in other countries when their real intent is to ferment unrest and destabilise the host countries.
Stop the lies about democracy and freedom of association. American has no democracy and no freedom of association.
Ban all CIA and NGOs from their countries. Treat them as terrorist organisations, arrest them on site and put them in jail.
Beside checking the NGOs, also check the movement of large amount of money. Check bank account of politicians and leader of the protest movement. As well as any foreigner who have been communicating with the protestor leader.
Right, classify the CIA and NED backed organization as terrorist organizations. But it is easier said than done. Thailand wants to put in place a law requiring those NGOs operating in Thailand to disclose the source of their fundings, which is facing fierce fightback by the equally innocuous but insidious agenda of human rights group for example. Such disclosure of funding will all link such NGOs to the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), the organization that is instigating such worldwide protest as happened in Hong Kong and Xinjiang.

All the NGOs that are uttering rules based order, democracy, human rights, freedom are all terrorist organisations paid by the CIA. These are the catchphrases that give them away.
Trump would have banned all the NGOs in America. But he knows they are all funded by the CIA and would not harm or agitate for unrest in America. Only silly Global South countries could not tell the difference and still thinking that they have to play be American rules based order and craps.
NGOs were created by the USA and the West, just like the CIA, to destabilize other countries, not themselves. Moreover, they are funded by the USA Government via the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and others. Therefore, we do not find them existing in the USA nor the West, but proliferating in non-Western countries, particularly countries not seen to be towing the line and potential targets for revolution or destablization.
