The Chinese peasants are no match to the American gangsters but thinking that they could out negotiate them and winning a negotiation with a few wins. And the Americans played along, telling the world that the China were tough negotiators, but knowing that the Chinese were foolishly negotiating for things that were theirs in the first place. The process sees the Chinese winning a few items that were theirs but ended up giving away a few new items in exchange. This is the stupidity of all the negotiations with the Americans. The American formula, take the sweets from the Chinese hands and negotiate for concessions for the return of the sweets.
A good example, before going for a negotiation, the Americans would impose a few new sanctions, blacklisted a few Chinese companies or Chinese leaders. See this clearly. These new sanctions, blacklisted companies and Chinese leaders were not sanctioned or blacklisted before. They were in the hands of China. The Americans took it away using the national security ruse. Get it?
Now the Americans would go into a negotiation demanded for things that they want to free up these sanctions and blacklists. And the Chinese worked very hard to remove these sanctions and blacklists and ended up giving up something in return. The Chinese would think they have made the Americans walked back on the sanctions and blacklists. Very good, very successful. But did not know they have given up more things to the Americans just to reinstate the status quo.
TikTok is operating freely in America. Now the Americans want to ban them or steal them, again using the security ruse. And China must give up something for it to continue to operate freely in America. The same process is being repeated everyday by the American gangsters. National security issue, so TikTok cannot operate in America. But when taken over by the Americans, no more national security issue.
How long would it take for the Chinese to wake up from this American ruse and keep being cheated by the Americans without knowing that they have been cheated and thinking they drove a hard bargain and the winner...when they are the real losers in every negotiation?
The Taiwan issue is another good example. The Americans insisted on selling arms to Taiwan, to meddle with Taiwan and encouraging Taiwan independence movement. Taiwan is a part of China and the American actions are hostile acts, acts of war. Why would China have to negotiate with the Americans and give up things to please the Americans to stop their hostile activities?
Why not just tell the Americans to stop it or China would stop it, and go to war if necessary? This is how the Americans bullied and cheated the Chinese by throwing things at China first. And China has to give something in return to stop the Americans from throwing things at them. China can also throw things at the Americans first and then negotiate from there. Is this so difficult to understand?
Trump's Art of the Deal is not new. The Americans have been practising this for centuries against China, when China was weak. Now China is no longer weak, but still trap in this mindset, unable to set through the ruse. After every negotiation and deal made, sooner or later, the Americans would throw more new sanctions and blacklists at China to start another round of negotiation...and like Bessant, pretending to be unhappy and complaining that the Chinese were tough negotiators, but behind closed doors, laughing themselves silly at the Chinese negotiators for negotiating to return to the status quo. All the sanctions and blacklisting are one sided, initiated by the Americans to pressure and squeeze China for concessions and giveaways.
When would the Chinese wise up in their dealings with the American gangsters? Is China giving TikTok away in exchange for nothing from the Americans again?

Every trade deal is a loss to China, but who is suffering more of the consequences where it matters? More than 250 USA farmers have gone belly up since the trade war started, without the Chinese market for soya beans and corn. USA tech giants and military contractors are stifled without Chinese rare earth magnets. Now the USA, Australia, Japan and India are forming the Rare Earth Alliance to counter China. With so much winning in the trade war, why is that necessary? Everyone knows that rare earths are everywhere, but trying to work out the problems from scratch is just building castle' in the air. Where are the existing refining facilities, the really big ones for making all the magnets to satisfy the demand? Who is going to sink in all the funding for such a setup? Enough said!
If China has suffered so much loss, why is Trump begging China to buy more soya beans and demanding China to sell more rare earth magnets to USA and the West? Why are the USA soya bean farmers so desperate trying to sell their produce hiding behind Brazil and Argentina as their source of such soya beans and getting caught? Why are other countries being forced to resell rare earth magnets sourced from China to the desperate USA and also getting caught by China, namely South Korea and India, which resulted in China tightening the sanctions against them as well. India is caught in the crossfire and now not knowing how to navigate its political compass. Modi is telling the Indians not to depend on foreign goods in the face of USA sanctions. Good for India waking up.
If China has indeed been suffering all the losses over the trade war, shouldn't its GDP growth be affected massively? China's GDP growth is still expected to grow between 3.95% to 5% depending on different sources looking at the situation. At the lower end, it is still twice the growth rate of the USA at 1.9%. So, who is losing and who is still winning, despite the gloom and doom regarding China always being on the losing end on every front?
It is not what you read in the news that the whole TikTok is being sold to the US. There are certain aspect/function in the Apps that are not in the deal, which mean what the US side get is only for the US market. It like when you buy the Microsoft windows OS Home edition instead of the Professional edition. So Bytedance is actually laughing to the bank, while Trump think he got the real deal.
Xi has yet to say a word over the whole thing. Trump just continues to talk to himself and already deciding how to split the cake and who is expected to get a piece. Laughable.
Outside of the USA, Tik Tok still operates as usual, dispensing news about the genocides in Gaza, the real reason the USA is taking action, not the hogwash about National Security issues and China getting user's personal information from using the app. What the fxxk for?
