America lying about unemployment data when companies are moving out, closing, going bankrupt...

China is making missiles using robots working 24 hours a day. And China has all the needed raw materials and processing facilities for that - rare earth, titanium, steel, aluminum and iron. Chinese manufacturing is all there to turn into and provide the supply chain for a war economy. China can fight a long war, or a short one if the USA cannot manufacture enough weapons needed to sustain a longer war.

Overcapacity is also to China's advantage, as Chinese manufacturing can turn to a war machine if needed. Can the USA do that as what it did in the past, and now with all manufacturing facilities all hollowed out. Of course, that can be remedied if Trump's attempt to lure manufacturing back to the USA is successful. But are present indications pointing to its success? What Trump has done is achieving something diametrically different from what he gloated about doing. Even true-blue USA entities like Apple, Boeing, John Deere, Ford and others are shifting production out of the USA. What really broke the camel's back was the added tariffs making imported components and raw materials very much more expensive.

There is now a deluge of propaganda using misleading reports about job creation in the USA, using smoke and mirrors to fool the masses regarding the reality. With entities shifting investment overseas, small retail outlets closing shop, food and beverage outlets going out of business and cuts in Federal spending, the loss of jobs cannot be hidden by creative reporting.

The deportation of illegal immigrants may create job opportunities in farming, food and beverage sectors and small retailing outlets, but are USA citizens willing to go for such low paying jobs? Immigrants do not have employment rights fighting for higher wages against errant employers, unlike USA workers that will demand high wages for such jobs. More businesses will bite the dust if USA workers are instead hired to replace those immigrants. Job openings may be created, but it does not musk the real issue of who is taking over those jobs.

Trump is adding more misery to USA manufacturing with his 50% tariffs on copper imports. That will mean higher costs for industries like vehicles makers (if any is going to be left), consumer products, electronics and electrical goods. Even weapons are affected, though the tariff could be added on and unloaded to Ukraine and Israel and other cronies and colonies like Japan, South Korea, Philippines and you know who. Not for free obviously.

USA copper producers will likewise increase prices to match imported copper prices for sure. This would be cause for celebration for them and their investors. Who is going to benefit? Not USA consumers who will have to dig in more to afford domestically made products. If USA consumers are clapping and celebrating, that shows how delusional they are. Tariffs are going to be paid by importers and passed on to them regardless of what and where they come from. What is the celebration all about?

China is the copper producer of the world, and the USA is not the market for China's copper output, nor is China dependent on USA copper producers who themselves are just able to provide only half of what the USA needed. Trump's move will not lead to any collapse of Chinese copper producers if that is what he intended.

China's industries itself need lots of copper for its EV producers (83 kg of copper for each EV on average), the shipbuilding industry, high-speed rails and trains, commercial planes and military jets, consumer products and even defense usage. Overcapacity caters very well to China's domestic needs. China has the productive capacity and the market as well. China's move to be totally self-dependents is no idle boast.

All in all, are we again going to see more nose cutting and face spiting going forward by the USA?

Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and the Arab states are the ATMs for America to bleed.

Lying about employment data is also a skill that miw in sinkies are expert in. Just throw a figure of thousand of jobs created or said most "residents" are gainfully employed. Or quote from survey of "companies" on how good the jobs market will be. If there is a drop in employment, just mention it is mainly "foreigner" who are let go. So basically we are living in a world of fake news nor just in USass.

Who has access to all the information? That the USA job figures can be corrected later by the hundreds of thousands says a lot about its credibility. But what is the problem with that if the Hillbillies just take them as normal.
