PL15E's actual kill range is twice the reported range ie 300 km

I just came across a video on 'Strategic Depth' revealing the strategy of Chinese weapon labelling, that leads to the possible destruction of India's Rafale jets. A Japanese officer calls this 'fraud' labelling by the Chinese side, underplaying the effectiveness and range of its weapons like the PL15E.

The PL15E had been labelled to have just a range of 145 kilometers, and India's Rafale, by staying away at 181 kilometers during the aerial duel with Pakistan, was believed to be beyond the range of the PL15E. The sad truth was that there was a big margin of difference in the actual range and labelled range that had been understated by the Chinese, with the range of the PL15E now thought to be around 300 kilometers, twice the labelled range. Chinese philosophy had always been to hide its strength from the enemy, which is in line with Sun Tsu's art of war. Call it a 'fraud' if they like, but the truth is extremely hard to swallow.

What the Japanese discovered from the debris of the PL15E given by the Indians to pry apart its secrets, and after tearing apart the PL15E nerve center revealed very little of the cutting-edge stuff available that are useful, only to instead discover to their horror the 'fraud' of the Chinese understating the range of their missile system. China is not afraid of what the Japanese found out, as the PL15E, already a decade old weapon, is not what the PLA itself is now using. They have a far more advanced version, the PL17, that is supposed to be just having a label of a 400-kilometer range. What is now feared by the Japanese is that China's hypersonic missiles with understated range are now capable of taking out the F35's on the ground in Japan. This has created a terrifying fear in Washington and Tokyo. What else is hidden inside the Chinese military upgrades and weapons system that the West has yet to unlock?

The USA and the West can keep on pretending that China's weapons are no match for theirs. Foreigners can never understand Chinese mindsets, using theirs as the barometer. They are going to regret sooner or later, just like regretting taking their eyes off China for about 30 to 40 years and waking up to face a massive dilemma.

When China made fighter jets with wings, it was accused of copying the West. When China made vehicles with wheels, it was accused of copying the West. Whatever China made, it was always copying the West. Did the West copied anything from the Chinese I wonder?

China invented gunpowder that changed the landscape of war when the West used that to make guns and bombs. That was not copying? The Chinese invented paper, that was to revolutionize the landscape of education and books were written and printed en masse. The Chinese invented the compass that was to make navigation on the high seas a breeze and promote exploration.

China was never allowed access to the International Space Station but made its own Tiangong Space Station. Was that copying? China was never allowed to participate in research programs by the West and Japan on high tech and sensitive Western industrial monopolies, but China made its own rockets, jet engines, fighter jets, solar panels, wind turbines and EVs. If China is copying, how is it possible for China to be so advanced in telecommunication sector like 5G and leading in 6G? Oh, sorry the USA is now going into 7G to skip a generation and a half if they are on 5.5G now. The gap was so wide for them to catch up that they had to ban Huawei and forcing its doggies to do likewise.

China's strategy is to lull its enemies into a false sense of security. When actuality hits, it's very painful and destructive.
Just like a kingfu master will never reveal his ultimate move until it hits you and it's too late. On the other end of the scale, you have the Indians making Mt Everest out of a molehill. The yanks are somewhere in between.

Why do Indians like to boast? Under Modi, the boasting is getting out of hand. The 'Factory of the World' boast has fallen flat. Now it is about 'Aviation Hub', 'AI Hub' and 'Food Hub'. Why not just say that India is going to be the 'mother of all hubs'? The Hindu fanatics will make a song and dance about it.
