India's big hurdle - its undeveloped infrastructure of railways and roads

Whatever hub that India embarks on, one thing is going to be a big hurdle - its undeveloped infrastructure of railways and roads, not to talk about its skilled manpower needs.

How long is that going to take to put in place, if you just look at India's high-speed rail project progression? While countries that started with high-speed rail construction at the same time are already up and running, India is still work in progress. A project started in 2017 is only expected to be operational in 2026.

Oh, by the way, there was a newly completed underground metro in Mumbai that was flooded, with the blame squarely on the early arrival of the monsoon. What does the time of arrival of a monsoon have to do with the flooding? Are they saying that if the monsoon arrived a few days later, the metro would not be flooded? How is that a reason?

I saw that one earlier. Two Africans seeing the Indians eating their way into their crazy food habit even sent one of them vomiting. Africans, mind you, supposed to be hungrier people and cannot stomach the sight of the Indian food.

Must say that India's railways are the best in the world in terms of capacity. It beats everyone else by a factor of 2.
Where else fo you see the maximum utilisation of space in the carriages? As the Carole King song goes 'Up on the roof'.

Coming to a hawker center or coffeeshop near you if Modi's big dream comes true of Indian food on every table, LOL. But I would not bet on it.

Modi's dream is 'just for laughs', Indian version.

On every table, but the Indians mostly eat on the ground.

Do foreigners travelling to India dared to take Indian trains I wonder. Sitting on the roof needs courage which is of course useful when lives are so cheap and dispensable. India is the 'Factory of the World' for making babies, LOL.
