That is just being planned all along by the USA,
allowing Japan to increase its military spending in order to confront
China. The USA still do not trust the Japs enough to allow for a nuclear
Japan to arise, that may backfire on them later. I may be wrong about
this, and some believe Japan already had the bomb in secret like Israel.
Israel is never a threat to the USA, but Japan may yet be again. The
USA should know that Japan may be hiding its ambition, knowing the
Japanese are extremely secretive people.
The USA knows that the
two bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki are not that easy to forget,
especially for those whose parents or relatives perished with it. And we
are not even talking about those born with deformities arising from the
radiative effect of the two bombs. That has never been allowed to be
talked about on MSM.
Japan should learn from the
Hiroshima/Nagasaki lesson and not try to tangle with China or Russia to
learn a second lesson. Japan has to learn to live with its deflated ego
and not try to rewrite history, which is not on their side.
Even
if Japan turns itself into a normal military power again, China is not
the same divided China several decades ago. And a militarized Japan can
only think about North Korea, which is peripheral to the USA ambition
and not realistically not their target.

China's most dangerous enemy is Japan and China has to keep a close eye on the Japanese.
As long as China just let Taiwan play out its game, the USA can do nothing. But the Japanese are now in desperate straits, losing its third place in GDP to Germany after being overtaken comprehensively its second position by China. Germany itself is also going downhill very fast.
Japan will resort to another adventure of using a surprise attack on China, trying to dominate Asia again like in WW2, this time knowing the USA is behind its back. But attempting to do the same to China this time around is just suicidal and could result in Japan physically disappearing completely under the waters of the South China Sea.
Russia is already not happy with Japan, and North Korea too. A war with China is taking on all the three. Even with USA involved, that is a high mountain to climb.
