The Americans made Communism like a devilish ideology, to be feared and hated and to be destroyed. On the other hand, the Americans professed to be devout Christians and extolled the goodness of Christianity as a way of life, more sacred than Democracy, a religion with a God they prayed and asked for support when they go out to kill coloured people in the name of war.
What the Americans could not understand and would be shocked to know, Communism is a by product of Christianity. Jesus was the first communist. The way he lived with his followers, the way he shared whatever food he had with them, were all about communal living. All things are to be shared by all his followers, no hoarding of private properties but sharing of common properties, belonging to everyone.
Karl Marx borrowed heavily from the way Jesus and his followers lived their lives as a commune. All men and women were equal except for Jesus. Christianity was subsequently embraced and adopted by the Romans as a state religion and the Catholic Church was formed. The organisation of the Church, the cell groups, confession of sins, collection of tides, sharing of the collection, pooling of resources for the common good of the Church and the believers, were very similar to what is being practised in communist countries. The only difference is the name given to the religion and the political ideology, and one with God while the other is godless.
The communist organisation structure and communal living are a mirror of the Catholic Church and also the churches of other Christian denominations. Both have their cell groups and cell leaders and confession sessions for believers to tell their sins to be forgiven, like the communist self criticism and confession. And both practise communal living and communal wealth and resources. Ever the hierarchies of church elders and the primates were copied in the form of cadres and central executive committee members.
So, given the similarity between Christianity and Communism, one the mother and the other the child, why are the Americans chose to hate Communism but at the same time embraced Christianity? Whenever they go to church, make their donations to the church, pay their dues for the community or parish or communes they belonged, were they not practising communism?
If only Jesus was around, he would have slapped the Americans for hating his way of life and the way of life of his followers living in his commune as brothers and sisters, as equals, more equality than inequality, not private properties and winners take all, white supremacy etc etc. The Americans are practising Communism on Sunday and hating Communism on other days.
What do you think? What is so different about Communism and communist ideology versus Christianity and its practices? Why is one so hated and the other so dear? If communal living is bad, what about communal activities of the churches, cell groups and sharing of wealth, and Jesus' communal community?

They (comm/demo/ccp/pap/etc) are all robbing the people and give to the powerful. Whatever the name does not matter. Real communism does not exist.
In the last 30 years, 50% of American middle class is getting poorer while the rich get richer. Capitalism in America is for the rich to get richer and the poor get poorer.
Rb. W you are good but I think you are stretching a fair bit lar
In Singapore $1m is too little for the rich but $1,300 is too much for the poor.
So said the natural aristocrats.
Stretching just a bit. No one can deny or dispute that Jesus and his poor flock were all living a communal life, sleeping together, eating together, sharing whatever little things they had. Jesus had to break the bread and fish to be distributed to everyone of the hungry folks.
All forms of government are not good for the common people. That's why there arose the Common Laws to protect and safeguard the interests of the commoners. However, as always with cunning people at high places, especially those who pursue the power to rule and control people to their advantage, the Common Laws have been hijacked through crafty interpretation by selected legal professionals and legal proceedings.
Whenever there are people (foxes and wolves disguised as genuine leaders) interested in the power to rule, control, dominate, manipulate and exploit other people for personal gains (name, fame, status, prestige, money, power and legacy) in government, no government can be good.
The only solution for the common good of the commoners is to get rid of any form of government. In its place, only an administration body like the civil service is to exist to service the people. This adminstrative service is divided into sub-administrative groups for sub-regions within the country. Each of these is answerable to a local decision-making body comprising a council of non-executive wise people who function as advisers, rather than a cabinet of power-crazy people who come out with laws to protect themselves.
All laws formulated must be for the good of the commoners and approved by the commoners in a national voting system every 4 years.
Likewise the council of wise advisors must be selected and approved by the commoners every 4 years.
Live like Jesus and his flock best. No government!
There is no comparison between a belief and any political ideology. One is imagination and the Other is a Science in Organization and Administration of a Sovereign Nation.
Btw,
it was invariably ethnically and racially communual in ancient times, especially pre-civilized society.
Jesus,
if there was one,
was ancient and probably in a primitive era.
Rb stretching by a mile lar. Hehe but I enjoy your article.
Aiya in Singapore, the sheeples are so conditioned by the elites who have been in power for so long, the have very thick skin and cannot feel pain or discomfort. This is very good for the people in power because Singaporeans are very kwai and also gullible. A few $$$ just before GE and they kwai kwai vote for you know who. SAD and PATHETIC load of sheeples.
Most probably the oldest form of communism started in Africa. The origin of man kind that the One Up There created homo sapiens. In the beginning all live in a community or tribes until some group got tried maybe due to some friction some groups migrated elsewhere, that's where the brotherhood got separated due to different ambitions in search of greener pastures. As time goes by, some of these sapiens mastered some advance weaponry & that's when the world went up side down into series of wars. Some nations were conquered, bullied or even trampled upon for even hundred of yrs until recently this balance tend to tilt to the East & the West became upset & tried to create havoc to make a stir out of it. However, the communion East after yrs of experiencing being trampled had now the might and gut to stand against the West demoncracy bullies, the rest is all history...
Indian caste bias favoring their peers in hiring, referrals and performance reviews - sounds familiar? This is happening not just in Singapore, but also in Silicon Valley.
India’s engineers have thrived in Silicon Valley. So has its caste system. (The Washington Post, Oct 28)
Whenever Benjamin Kaila, a database administrator who immigrated from India to the United States in 1999, applies for a job at a U.S. tech company, he prays that there are no other Indians during the in-person interview. That’s because Kaila is a Dalit, or member of the lowest-ranked castes within India’s system of social hierarchy, formerly referred to as “untouchables.”
Silicon Valley’s diversity issues are well documented: It’s still dominated by White and Asian men, and Black and Latino workers remain underrepresented. But for years, as debates about meritocracy raged on, the tech industry’s reliance on Indian engineers allowed another type of discrimination to fester. And Dalit engineers like Kaila say U.S. employers aren’t equipped to address it.
In more than 100 job interviews for contract work over the past 20 years, Kaila said he got only one job offer when another Indian interviewed him in person. When members of the interview panel have been Indian, Kaila says, he has faced personal questions that seem to be used to suss out whether he’s a member of an upper caste, like most of the Indians working in the tech industry.
