5G - A world divided between 5G and 4G nations

As Britain was banning the use of Huawei in its next-generation networks last month, the Chinese telecom equipment vendor was being used to power South Africa's commercial 5G services.

South Africa's data-only mobile network, rain, introduced its first commercial stand-alone 5G network, which teamed with the Chinese company. Huawei has also joined with local telecoms firm MTN Group to launch 5G in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Bloemfontein and Port Elizabeth.

Kenya is expected to follow suit this year after the country's largest telco, Safaricom, conducted pilot tests for Huawei's new mobile internet technology

Several other countries - including Lesotho, Egypt, Nigeria, Uganda, Senegal, Morocco, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Gabon - have conducted tests and are at various stages of roll-out of 5G, which promises much faster download and upload times....

Derrick Chikanga, IT services analyst at the consulting company Africa Analysis, said that given the strong ties between China and most African nations, it was unlikely most countries would cut their business links with Huawei.

"As long as the relationships make business sense then most countries will likely continue subscribing to Huawei's technologies," said Chikanga. "This will be important as we move into the 5G era. Hence, the company could remain key in enabling 5G connectivity to Africa countries, making it relevant to the needs of the African market." SCMP

As America under the leadership of clown Trump looks inward, abandoning the path to modern technology, preferred to stick to 4G or fake 5G, it forces its allies with the with us or against us to embrace 4G like the Americans, other parts of the world continue to march ahead with 5G as their main technology of the future.

Africa, the forgotten countries after the rape and plunder by the European powers and abandoned to do or die on its own, have found a new knight in China. China is investing heavily in Africa, bringing it into the fold of BRI to link Africa with the massive and comprehensive rail and road network in Asia and Africa for trade and economic development. Africa is finding a new life,, a new vitality in the brave new world of 5G. What Africa has been lacking and fallen behind the developed nations, this is a golden opportunity for Africa to leap frog the decadent West in decline led by a witless Trump.

With 5G technology, Africa suddenly found itself ahead in the field of telecommunication, with the most advanced technology on earth in its backyard while the West stubbornly clang on to the aged and fast obsolete 4G technology. The rise of Africa as a new continent embracing the latest technology is a modern day miracle that was unthinkable but now made possible.

Who would know or could visualise an Africa that is ahead of the fading western nations? This can only happen when the West, blinded by its pride, voluntarily chose to give up the race and withdrew into their own cocoon to remain stagnant and to remain where they are. Africa is accepting Huawei's 5G technology like a god sent gift to kick start its march into the 21st Century. Huawei's technology is not only superior but also cheaper than those from the West, even cheaper than Samsung. And joining Africa in the march towards the future would be the rest of the world that would not be bullied or arm twisted by the backward looking Americans, to cut one's nose to spike one's face.

While the Americans are running out of ideas, running out of talent with most of its IT companies taken over and run by real Indians, the rest of the world would fly ahead in light speed with the latest technology available from a new China led Huawei and a host of Chinese IT companies like Alibaba, Tencent, Wechat, TikTok, Beidou, Ant Financing etc etc and with rich Chinese banks to bankroll them in the pursuit of economic growth and science and technology.

The new world will be divided between the backward looking 4G nations led by an obsolescent American Empire on one side and the progressive 5G nations led by a rising power in China on the other. While the Americans are all about wars and selling of weapons of destruction,  China is all about economic growth and development, infrastructure building, trade etc for the co prosperity of the nations on earth.

A world divide will see the end of the American Empire and would bury the West for good with the rise of Asia and Africa and the rest of the world. Covid19 is the god sent invisible army that would devour the West and turn them to dust.

The divide will not just be on technology alone. The decoupling of the China America economies has just begun. Trump has started an economic war with China and twisting the arms of its allies to take its side. Be with us or against us. American companies would not be allowed to trade with Chinese tech companies. American companies would have to pull back their factories to the USA and only allowed to produce in China for goods meant for China. This one way calculation is unbelieveable. China would simply shut down all American factories in China and not allowed them to produce for the Chinese market and consumers.

It would be a war to see who has the bigger consumer market and who is able to produce goods cheaper and better. The 5 eyes countries and some European countries would have to live with more expensive American goods and a smaller American consumer market with the rising Chinese market. The poor Americans and some Europeans are going to be hit hard when they cannot buy cheap and good Chinese goods. Without the Chinese market, Britain is going to be a poor country with only the US to export its products and services. The other 5 eyes countries did not have big enough market for British products. Can poorer third world countries like India and some in Africa and Latin America afford to buy American goods and services?

Trump is only thinking short term, till November after which he would be booted out of the White House. Countries that made the choice to be with the Americans and go against China would have to live with the consequences of their decision without a mad and lying Trumps to create more havoc in the world.

On the China side would be countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America, Europe, Central and South East Asia where goods are cheaper from China, access to the biggest consumer market in the world and the latest technology including 5G. On the American side would be the 5 eyes countries, Japan and India, all having to buy expensive American goods and a shrinking American market and living on 4G technology faking as 5G technology and exchanging useless American dollars.

PS.
TikTok said the US action “risks undermining global businesses’ trust in the United States’ commitment to the rule of law, which has served as a magnet for investment and spurred decades of American economic growth.”

How can anyone expect the Unlawful States of America to uphold the rule or rules of law or laws?

In the Unlawful States of America there is only one rule and one law. That is the Evil Rule and the Outlaw.

The Americanos have been ruled by the rule-less and the law-less Wild Wild West for three centuries. Habits diehard. How to change?

Little European countries without their colonies to loot and plunder, without these cornered markets, would not be able to survive, to find cheap consumer goods and without a big enough consumer market like China to sell their goods.

Small European countries are all going to hang themselves high and dry once they chose to take the sides of the Evil Empire. The Americans are going to bully them and chew them to bits and pieces.

Where does Singapore stand ? PAP 4G, so still 4G with Nokia and Ericsson, no Huawei 5G ?

SSO said...

PAP, although a shadow Communist party of CCP model all the while since its formation on 21 November, 1954, has been and still is Anti-China culturally, diplomatically, ethnically, fanatically, geographically, historically, insanely, jokingly, kinkily, leegally, mentally, notoriously, openly, politically, quietly, recklessly, socially, technologically and unnaturally. Except economically to reap benefits from commerce and trade.

So Double Faced or Double Snake and Most Incorrigible Hypocrite?

Virgo 49,

Yes, a very thick-skin shameless double-face hypocrite that only carries ANG MOH BALLS.

That's why the GRC of the Chief also called ANG MOH KIO GRC! Coincidence?

KIO means bridge in Hokkien.
ANG MOH KIO means Bridge of Ang Moh or Bridge that serves Ang Moh Tua Kee ONLY.

Lately, less and less Ang Moh come here, so last ten years, PAP went for Black Cobra Tua Kee. That's why signed CECA to screw up Daft Sinkies.

One idiot even went all the way to Cobra Land to make Cobra Costumes to wear and boasted about it on his Facebook page. Shameless.

Anecdotal evidence suggests India's influence over Singapore politicians is very strong - eg why policies favor India CECA nationals; why put so much investment money in India even though the Indian rupee tumbles more than half since 2008 (SingTel fell from $4 to $2.3, frequently reporting disastrous losses in its Bharti Airtel investment); etc . . .

During the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic in January and February, there were many calls in Singapore to ban travel from China. Why is it that currently, MOH is reporting imported cases of confirmed COVID-19 cases from India, almost daily, but there's no call to ban travel from India?

Is President Halimah Yacob only paying lip service to anti discrimination?

by Ghui 21 August 2020

"President Halimah Yacob has via a Facebook post said that discrimination against anyone has “no place at all” in Singapore society.

She went on to say that “people should be assessed solely on their merits and their ability to do a job and nothing else.”

While her statements ring true at face value, how do they stack up with Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat’s statements last year when he said that older Singaporeans were not ready for a non Chinese Prime Minister?"

My comments and request follow:

1. Why the President still have not commented on DPM Heng's arbitrary discriminatory statement?

2. Why the President seems indifferent towards WP being singled out for discrimination?

3. Our President should not take sides in politics, even though she was a PAP member before. She should be able to rise up and above the dirty political manipulations and manoeuvres, is it not?

4. If not, how to uphold the dignity and integrity of the Office of The President?

5. Open Letter of Request:

Dear Most Honourable Madam President,

We, the commoners, would very much wish to hear from you on many of the discriminations and discriminatory practices in Singapore, especially regarding the highly discriminatory CECA policy that allowed Singaporeans to be discriminated by foreigners for the highly-paid top and middle levels jobs.

Please tell us your honest and sincere views.

It won't be too much of a request for you to speak up, we hope.

Your most humble fellow citizens.

By SSO (representing my family members and a few close friends).

I came across this video on Youtube titled 'A deeper look at the Uyghur crisis in China' by Kim Iversen. It gives a detailed background on why China had to set up re-education camps for radicalized Wahabism Muslims that preached the path of violence against non Muslim followers.

One interesting fact revealed, unsuprisingly, that the main opposition group against the re-education camps came from mainly White countries of the EU, Australia, NZ etc. The most surprising thing however was the support for the re-education program that came from mostly Muslim countries of the Middle East, Africa, including Iran and Myanmar etc.

Wahabism originated from Saudi Arabia and the most telling point was that Saudi Arabia too supported the re-education program. That must have been a slap on the face of the Whites, who were calculating on using Xinjiang as a ignition point for starting internal unrest to break up China, besides using Hong Kong and Taiwan in the link up.

Now Hong Kong has been neutered and Xinjiang relatively under control with no terrorist attacks for three years.

On another note, trade has already started using the BRI linking China to Europe and goods are now able to move by rail to and from despite the Pandemic putting air and sea movements in permanent coma and maybe a full stop. Many countries along the BRI are benefiting from the project.

Much good for the rest of the world will come from the 5G and COVID19 effect that the West is falling into in trying to marginalise China.

The West can continue with attacking Huawei and living in their mental block that 5G is a security threat when no proof existed. They are trying very hard to get their poodles to jump on the bandwagon of ditching Huawei. Huawei's 5G network will deprive them of using backdoor to spy on allies and enemies alike, and is indeed a security threat to the USA taken in another sense.

Huawei is now investing heavily into and with warp speed to develop their own high end chip research and development that will eventually be a major competitor to the present non Chinese semiconductor giants. These non Chinese semiconductor and chip monopolies will suffer the loss of business to Chinese high tech developers, when these developers will likely turn to using Huawei chips instead of taking the risk of being cut off at the whims and fancies of the USA and it's poodles.

On another note, the USA can continue with their human rights fiasco of spreading the COVID19 freely and going against the norm to show the world their upholding of democratic rights. After all Trump already told them a small percentage of death is acceptable, so be it. Their God will save them, but please keep the human rights and democratic fiasco during the pandemic for the USA own use.

Of the US election in November, the whole show is just like a circus.

As one commentator puts it bluntly - The two parties are just 'competing on style but colluding on substance'. How true!

The targeting of China will continue whoever sits in the White House. All because China's rise means a direct threat to the US Hegemony - economically and militarily. And that is a message that puts in doubt the few hundred years of effort that says communism is inferior to the democratic system. The Whites can never imagine surrendering their supremacy to the Chinese communist system.

Alamak, did not know Singapore so draconian! How come the big brother of democracy did not sanction Singapore for violation of human rights hor? Maybe double standard is applied here lah! But rest assured we are against discrimination.

When Indian Hindus mistreated Muslims, Trump said he will not interfere because it is an internal matter. When China set up re-education centres for radicalised Muslims advocating terrorism, the USA and the Whites cried father cried mother.

When the USA arrested terrorist they send them to Guantanamo to be tortured and used them for waterboarding practices. When the USA killed millions of Muslims in the Middle East the USA called that collateral damage.

You see, even Human Rights Watch say little about Guantanamo. On the other hand China even invited Human Rights Watch to see for themselves the situation in Xinjiang, but they would not take up the offer, but continue to hammer on the mistreatment of Uyghurs over there.

The UN and another world body went there and both did favourable reports of the real situation after their visit, which the West, unsurprisingly, claimed China must have paid them to say those good stuff.
