What could u expect, years of herding n quota factoring...
That to me is also the beauty of democracy. Singaporeans were the one who have chosen a government that progressively turned them into SPUs for the last 40 odd years. It was a conscious choice. Singaporeans chose to be turned into SPUs.
the roman empire used to have the most discipline soldiers. and they conquered a huge part of europe and middle east.
if discipline is equalled to blind obedience, we can embark on the path of building an empire.
if discipline is equalled to unthinking surrender of one's right, we shall soon have an empire.
if discipline is equalled to blind faith, we will soon have a great religion.
errrr... what happened to the roman empire? smack of something brewing...
the roman empire is history.
another characteristic of spu.
easily programmed. and because of limited memory, when new programmes are added, old programmes have to be deleted. cannot recall deleted memory.
