Good news. Iran just captured a USA submarine drone

Good news. Iran just captured a USA submarine drone, or whatever they call it. The USA said the underwater drone 'malfunctioned', which is why the Iranians can have their hands on it.

Let us skip the spinning and look at the big picture. When the USA left Afghanistan, they touted about destroying all the weapons they left behind. Well, the Taliban built a real army restoring all the military hardware and parading it. Trump went crazy and demanded that the Taliban give back all the restored weapons. That demand really takes the cake.

So, is the USA going to ask Iran to return the malfunctioned submarine drone, the same way as asking Iran to return unexploded bombs? You can be sure the Iranians are going to give it a thorough scrubbing for information and perhaps share it with China, Russia and North Korea. The possibilities are endless.

Perhaps Trump may order another extraction exercise as they did with the missing pilot. If lessons are not learnt, worth a try again. This is important military hardware, and the USA should be worried, very worried.

Trump is going to 'Make Argentina Great Again'

It is just a stake boasted as control over 65 billion barrels of Venezuela's oil. The USA has yet to invest big money in extracting that much oil and has hardly moved the needle yet in terms of investing. How long is that going to take? Trump is undoubtedly going to 'Make Argentina Great Again', another MAGA move. Where does his 'America First Doctrine' stand today is questionable.

Building refineries is not a 4 to 5 days issue like using Lego Bricks. It takes years to just start training people and build back infrastructures. Reality does not happen just by twitting.

All that boasting, standing on a dung heap, is just to fool the rednecks and hillbillies that oil at the pump is going to go down with so much oil from Venezuela coming. Scott Ritter commented that the rednecks and hillbillies are as stupid as dirt. This gloating is part of Trump's attempt to save his November fiasco.

Now even Javier Milei is not convinced that holding on to the USA coattails is good for Argentina and he is looking back at China with renewed interest. Trump meanwhile is trying to rein him in and starting to throw spanners into the China/Argentina relationship and prevent it from flowering. Of course, China knows that Javier Milei bends with the wind like bamboos, so must tread carefully when dealing with this unstable stooge.

Why some ex-colonial countries are supporting their former Western colonial imperial masters.

 Some ex-colonial countries are supporting their former Western colonial and imperial masters because they were maneuvered through a long term process of diabolical historical intrigue and plot to carry out the wish and instructions of their former masters even after given pseudo independence.

Before giving each colony independence the Western colonial and imperial powers like England, France, US, Spain, Portugal and Holland would do a very vile thing of  planting seeds of future dissensions and conflict among the ex-colonies. They woul for example arbitrarily cut off some land from colony A and incorporate it with colony B or colony C. Likewise they would cut off some land from colony B or C and incoporate it with A or D or colony E and so on. They purposely left some bones for future contention and conflict among the colonies before giving them independence. After independence the ex-colonies found out too late that part of their land was no more theirs. These ex-colonies began to quarrel and fight over the lost tracts of land. The ex-colonial masters would then come in to act as good people helping to settle their disputes. Of course the ex-colonial masters would benefit from these conflicts in stealthily getting control of the ex-colonies economy, trade and industries, finance, banking and monetary control. The silly ex-colonies end up happily not knowing that they are now reduced to economic, trade, financial and industrial fiefdoms control by the same former colonial masters. In short they do not seem to know that they are now under even more stifling colonial control albeit via multiple hybrid neo-colonial diabolical systems.  So they continue to support them. Stupidity really has no cure. Many African states fall into this category. Same goes with the Middle East Arab countries and that's the reason they are in trouble now.

In fact some ex-colonies benefited a lot territorially from their former colonial masters albeit at the expense of other native states. With British connivance India swallowed up former independent kingdoms of Sikkim, Kashmir, Ladakh, Nagaland, Assam Hills states and Nicobar Island Archipelago. Bhutan and Nepal would have been swallowed up by India had it not been for China standing behind them. Also India continue to hold on to the Chinese province of Tawang of Southern Tibet or Xi-Chang which was illegally occupied by British ruled India in 1914.  India has unashamely and wrongly inherited the mantle of British colonialism and imperialism.

Soekarno would not have been able to gain independence from the Dutch without the strong support and sacrifice of Russia, China and other Asian countries. In fact many Singapore and Malaysia Chinese took  the risk of running the gaunglet in smuggling arms to Soekarno to help him to drive out the Dutch. When eventually the Dutch were defeated they handed many territories under their control which were originally not part of Indonesia like Papua New Guinea, Sulawesi, Celebes and Dutch controlled Borneo or West Kalimantan.

Similarly Malaysia had a windfall when England handed Sarawak and Sabah or British Borneo to Malaysia. 

Thus because of the Western colonial powers manipulation in their favour India, Indonesia, Malaysia and some African and Middle East countries feel obliged to support the Western powers vis-a-vis their illogical disputes with Russia, Iran, China and so on.

Hopefully they will soon wake up to reality when they finally realise the Western white countries of Europe and the United States are inherently and inately evil to the core of wanting to permanently dominate the whole world under white men and Zionist Jew's rule and hegemony with the Anglo-Saxon United States of Zionist Jews control as its head.

Political leaders must be sensitive to the feelings, emotions, sentiments of its constituents

 Bill Clinton was quoted to have told his Americans, if they believe America will forever be number one, then go on and bully everyone, invade and bomb every country, kill everyone, threaten everyone, rule by might is right, abuse the law, twist everything to your favour, distort the truth, lie, cheat, do anything you want, as no one would be going after you. But, if America is going to be number two one day, better be careful in what you do. The whole world is watching and will not be forgiving when America becomes number two. America will have to pay for all the crimes, abuses of the law, of the system, of power. The world will exact its revenge on the Americans. Now, with all the power, the Americans can twist and turn every word to its advantage, black can be white, white can be black, because you hold the power. What is wrong can be right, because you said so. Remember, don't be the last Emperor.

The ruling party has been in power for as long as Singapore's existence. Will it lose power one day? LKY thought so. Only the foolish will think the party will never end and will rule forever. For so long, the ruling party has been patting its own back for doing all the right thing and necessary thing. Make tough decision is a badge of honour of the ruling party, without fear or blowback.

When the ruling party is in power, there is nothing to fear, just do it and explain away the problems, even with sophistry. Who is there to say no? Did anyone say there is no monopoly of wisdom and always be right? There have been many policies and decisions that the ruling party had pushed through using its own logic, interpretation and assumptions of what is good for the country and people. No objection, no protest does not mean everyone is on board and agreeing with the ruling party and its policy and decision.

The current outburst on the Nepal landslide and SIA's investment in Air India is just a tip of the iceberg. The pent up feeling of unhappiness or discontent has been building for years. CECA, influx of foreigners in high paying professions, the repeated disparagement that we need more foreign talents, marginalisation of Singaporeans, high cost of living, high cost of medicare, high cost of everything, and many other things, have been there and waiting to blow up when something snaps.

The ruling party shall be thankful that it is given a peep into the smouldering tension beneath the serene and calm facade of Singapore socio polity. Many policies and decisions are a matter of judgement and preferences, not a black and white, right or wrong decision. And there are many options to the policies and decisions, with many shades and colours. The ruling party must know that no protest, no disagreement, no objection do not mean all the people agree with what they decided and their policies.

Unless the ruling party can guarantee that it will always be the ruling party, then all is well. When the ruling party loses its mandate and no longer be the ruling party, the can of worms will be opened and everything will crawl out. The luckier ones would have departed. But the last emperor and his coterie of officials will have to bear the brunt and anger of the day.

When in power, everything goes, everything is right even if it is not right. When power is eclipsed, everything that was right may not be that right, everything that was good may not be good after all. Political leaders can rule by its own assumptions, biases, prejudices and interpretations of what is good and otherwise. It is always good to know the feelings, sentiments and emotions of the people and take them into consideration in decision making. The other side of the coin is still a part of the coin. All quiet on the western front does not mean nothing is happening or going to happen. Many issues, decisions and policies need to be tempered and moderated by understanding and acknowledging the concerns of the people. It may not be a case of right or wrong, but a matter of preferences and subjective choices based on many personal or cultural idiosyncrasies. Ignore them at your own peril.

Political decisions, like political appointments, are never totally objective and scientific. Political decisions are often compromised solutions, never totally right or totally wrong.

Do we know that Vietnam is still suffering the consequence of Agent Orange sprayed by the USA during the Vietnam War? The damage to the environment is still hidden deep underground in the soil, affecting water, vegetation and human body physically. The biological remains of Agent Orange can never be removed and will continue to haunt the country for decades to come.

This is a crime against humanity, pure and simple. How I wish that someone would do the same to the USA and let us see what they say. Saddam Hussein was criminalized for his WMD possession accusation, including chemical weapons that were proven to be lies. His death was a travesty of justice, nothing more.

What crime against humanity that happened in Vietnam, on the other hand, was real and yet the perpetrators got away without responsibility and accountability. All proven and documented. Just proves how hypocritical the world is today. What has the UN done? What has the ICC and ICJ done? What has the human rights watch group done? Nothing! Just closing their eyes - see nothing, hear nothing and do nothing. What are world bodies for when they are created to cater to protect the interest of one country? What is justice when it can be brushed aside by the barrel of a gun?

In the face of what I read online, I always have a particular habit of avoiding Vietnamese fruits. Some are really weird looking in color. Please do not take this as a racist remark.
