Houthis targeting Saudi Arabia or American terrorists

In the face of the USA's escalation against Iran, the Bab Al-Mandab is now closed to Saudi oil exports. That is going to bring Saudi Arabia to its knees, thinking that it could work around the Strait of Hormuz by using the Red Sea for its oil exports.

Saudi Arabia fought a war against the Yemen Houthis before, from 2015 to 2022, with USA support, while the Houthis were supported by Iran. There is really no love lost between the two countries. That peace deal between Saudi Arabia and Iran brokered by China provided some temporary relief to stop Iran from aiding the Houthis. That is going to end for sure. Closing the Bab Al-Mandab to Saudi vessels is telling. It is a direct and intentional hit against Saudi Arabia. The Gulf States can talk until the cows come home about countering the move by the Houthis. They had better put their resources trying to protect what they still have around the Persian Gulf.

China steals American AI talents? American losers' only trick, blame others for stealing their IP

HONG KONG: In 2019, Moonshot AI’s founder Yang Zhilin completed his PhD at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in just four years - about two fewer than the standard. Apple wanted him. Google and Meta had already hosted him as an intern. Postdoctoral doors at Stanford and MIT stood open. He chose none of them. He returned to China.

His CMU supervisor, Russ Salakhutdinov, later recalled Yang’s reasoning: “If he didn’t at least try starting his own company, he would regret it for the rest of his life.”

China is no longer merely a net importer of US-trained talent; it has built its own pipeline. Stanford’s Hoover Institution tracked 356 researchers behind DeepSeek’s core models and found that 53.5 per cent had never studied or worked outside China. The last card the American losers are throwing is to blame others of stealing their IP or products that they don't have. It is almost a daily occurrence to hear the American losers alleging China or Chinese companies stealing  their things when there is nothing of value in America that the Chinese want. The American losers are so desperate that the next thing they will be screaming will be Chinese students stealing their knowledge and information taught in American universities. Soon the clowns in Washington will stop Chinese students from admission into American universities, to stop students from studying there.

China must produce more open source AI apps, priced them competitively to finish off all the overpriced blood sucking American AI. Let the Americans have all their AI to themselves while the world enjoy and benefit from cheap and good Chinese AI.

The American losers will be buried in their own lies and ignorance.

Only silly countries allowed terrorist organisations like NGOs to operate freely to harm their countries

The problem is that such Western funded NGOs insert themselves into the local 'community help organization' doing social assistance to the common people. They used such organizations to integrate into, and in time used such organizations as a legitimate front to ferment unrest and conduct regime changes when the time comes.

Of course, the funding comes from foreign sources, most probably from NED or National Endowment for Democracy and its related bodies, with NED being the most prolific body doing the work of inciting protests, support insurrection, training of people to conduct the groundwork like in Hong Kong and funding such opposition parties, all on the pretext of promoting democracy.

Being tied to the community based social help programs make them difficult to be dislodged without antagonizing those people needing help. Which is exactly what is happening in Thailand. Singapore is already well-known since the days of LKY regarding keeping away foreign funding for local entities like political parties as interference in the internal affairs of the country.

The difficulty of keeping away such NGOs for a poor country like India is a political powder keg and is well-nigh impossible. What is happening in India now is probably linked to outside interference, with the mass protest being organized by the Opposition Cockroach Party. What a name to choose!

Bangladesh also went through the same modus operandi of unrest agitated by foreign hands and so did Pakistan. These two are pro-China followers, with the former President of Pakistan. Imran Khan, a keen follower of the Chinese system of progress and wanted to adopt the same system for Pakistan. He was to suffer a pre-emptive removal.

China Made products are now quality products

The irony is that all that bad-mouthing and propaganda about Chinese-made products are demonized as junks. This continuous brainwashing has got deep into the minds of people to this day, and they refused to change their mindsets.

Several years ago, actually more than a decade ago, I bought a Hi-Fi set from a reputable Japanese electronic brand. Few months later the internal fuse blew and needed servicing. Luckily it was still under guarantee. Two years later, the speaker cone turned to shreds, just like that. The tape recorder could not run the tape evenly and produced music like someone pulling the rubbish bin across the floor. I just threw the whole set away.

Why do they still think Chinese made products are junks? Are Chinese-made iPhones really also junks? What about branded handbags and watches made in China for the big global brands to stick a label on and straight away become good high-class and high-value handbags marked up few hundred percent in price? Stupidity has really no cure.

Today's ST had an article reporting that our Graduates are mismatched in the now levels of employments!

Wow! Just simply brushed it off as a sad situation that these daft graduates simply studied their sorts of useless courses/modules or degrees

A smart government with the Ministry of Education must now just simply provided the paths of higher education yo their citizens.

They must be able to guide, cajoled and lead and encourage their students or undergrads to take up the sorts of future type of professions and jobs that required the particular skills and skills sets.

Not simply switched off and let the masses simply flowed with their time wasting and not positive productive demands of the new economy type of professions and jobs.

Had so many trials and errors kee chews Lost in.the Forests Ministers for that .Ministry.

In the 60s and 70s Dr Goh Keng Swee had many of our grooming bright students into the Polys as at that time these are the only upcoming economic jobs that they are going to bring in to our country.

Many had gainfully considered as well paid jobs and full time employments

Now with the present time of even better bright students into the Unis instead of just the Polytechnics we are even unable to produce students of exemplary in the new tech industries

All still opting for those sunset demise traditional industries that are already in low demands

No foresight and just simply brushed off as jusy too bad the situation
