China now has the fastest quantum computer in the world, about 20% faster than any USA super computers. This is in spite of all the chip sanctions imposed by the USA and its allies.

What can China achieve had all those sanctions not been in place? It also shows that the sanctions are not working as planned.

Having said that, does all the sanctions against Russia working? In fact, it is working against the USA and its European allies. Why do I say that? The USA is unknowingly helping China to be more competitive with cheap Russian oil now flowing through pipelines into China. The USA is in fact punishing the Europeans, its allies, with expensive energy and crippling their economy.

Modi govt is behind visa fraud - Dr Oualaalou

Fake student visas, fake work permits, mainly in the USA, Canada and Australia. These countries' immigration agencies are so relax and incompetent that such widespread frauds are getting through and flooding their countries with illegal Indian immigrants.

These 3 countries should send their immigration officers to Singapore for training to prevent such frauds in their countries. Singapore practically is not affected by such immigration frauds from India. Everything is under control and in good hands. You hardly hear of Indian immigration frauds in Singapore. Singapore ATM calls to work again

SINGAPORE: The employer of more than 400 migrant workers who have not been paid for months has returned to Singapore, Minister of State for Manpower Dinesh Vasu Dash said on Sunday (Jun 28).

Mr Ramu Palani Velu, a Singapore permanent resident, is currently assisting with investigations and his passport has been impounded.

Mr Velu is a director of KPA Engineering and SK Industries, and is listed as a director of five other Singapore companies, including VVR Plant Engineering – whose workers have also gone unpaid for months....

Speaking to reporters during a visit to Kranji Recreation Centre, where he met workers from the three firms, Mr Dinesh said the Ministry of Manpower takes a serious view of breaches to the Employment Act and Employment of Foreign Manpower Act, and that action would be taken if necessary.

"These are very serious offences, and I hope our employers will be able to support our migrant workers and workers in general," he said.

He added that migrant workers owed salaries should reach out to the Tripartite Alliance for Dispute Management for help recovering their wages.  CNA

The Singapore govt has stepped in to pay foreign workers that were not paid by their employers. At least 400 of such workers are caught in this situation with many more coming forward. This is a good thing for the govt to do, to help foreign workers in need, especially when Singapore has a lot of money to spend. Caveat, Singapore cannot afford to be an ATM forever whenever somehow cheated or committed a fraud, especially foreigners. 

Singapore is not Santa Claus, is not a charity organisation. The money used to pay for such frauds and misconducts are Singaporeans' money and should be used to help Singaporeans, not foreigners. This is a smaller case compared to helping collapsed Indian banks and Air India. No matter how much money Singapore has, there is no reason to throw them away just like that, to foreign countries and foreigners.

Charity begins at home. Such money can go a long way to help needy Singaporeans. It cannot be used to fill bottomless pits. Would more foreign employers be thinking it is ok to cheat their workers, don't pay their workers because the Singapore govt will step in to pay for them? Would more foreign companies be waiting for Singapore to bail them out for real or fictitious losses?  It is looking like predators are all eyeing the Singapore ATM with plenty of OPM to dispense. Oops, I mean cash to dispense freely.

AngloSaxon whites outmaneuvered by the Indians in their own countries. They deserved it.

The Anglo-Saxon Whites are waking up to their comeuppance, thinking that the Indians are great assets that they discovered, maneuvering themselves into positions in companies they started and nursed into high value entities.

What the Anglo-Saxon Whites did not foresee or realize is that the Indians are out to hijack the company, with top Indians in those companies recruiting mainly Indians into their fold, thus denying the Anglo-Saxon Whites their job opportunities. Perhaps this also assist those Indians with fake degrees from Indian Universities to be able to get jobs that demand a higher level of competence that such fake Indian graduates would never be able to find elsewhere.

The result of such maneuvering has perhaps hit a raw nerve in the Anglo-Saxon White community, now realizing that their jobs have been stolen. Are the protesting Whites crying foul come as a surprise?

There were such a song and dance made by the Indians of how many Indians were sitting at the top of high-tech giants in the USA, and how their English language skills were in high demand in the West and way above the Chinese engineers they replaced. If that competence in English is true, why was Trump complaining about needing an interpreter to enable him to understand the question of an English-speaking journalist during a press session. That really busted the balloon of the competence of Indians in English.

I once worked in a shipping company, with the general manger, a Scot, and it was extremely difficult to understand him with his Scottish slang. The Indians carry the same kind of slang that Trump could not decipher.

What peaceful world order? What international organisation? The world is run by the American terrorists

What world body can really be trusted nowadays? All are held hostage by the USA and the West. If I am not wrong, those world bodies were specifically created, discreetly of course with intent, to supplement the control by the USA over the economic and military and to ensure the continued survival of the US$ hegemony and with it the USA hegemony.

When the UN and the ICC failed to do its job of prosecuting the war criminals for the war crimes in Iraq, over the fabricated evidence in the war against Iraq, the writing was already on the wall that such world bodies existed, not for overseeing justice, but to protect those with the power to dictate. What is the value of a world body that have no backbone to uphold justice in the face of threats to its leaders trying to appear credible?

The hogwash was further exposed by the action of the ICC against Rodrigo Duterte, who had no backing, even from his own Government, to do what the USA war criminals were able to do to escape justice. Do we honestly believe that Duterte will get a fair trial at the Hague? In any case, his crime was killing drug lords out to destroy the Philippines. If that is a crime against humanity, what about the USA military striking boats in the Gulf for unproven drug trafficking. Isn't that as criminally punishable as what Duterte did? Everything seems to have a double standard, and the only justice appears to come only from the barrel of a gun.
