 With so much money collected from tariffs, according to Trump, the USA is now furiously going into building warships, named Trump-class warships he boasted about, no less, all to counter China. They will be state of the art warships with hypersonic missiles and laser weapons. Ya, just wonder how Trump's Space Force is doing. Trump wants to control the global seas as well as space. Big plans!

Did Trump forget something? China controls rare earth that those warships are going to need for construction, from basic 2.4 tons to 4 tons, on top of all the rare earth needed for those weapons on board. And China is not going to relent on its rare earth grip for sure, not to allow its enemy to build weapons that will be used to target China later on. That would be stupidity of the highest order.

Trump can continue to fool his base with his rhetoric, but not everyone around the world is convinced. USA shipbuilding is totally non-existent, just 0.1% of global total, and that was in 2023. That sector existed just to keep the USA's naval fleet functioning. Oh, sure the USA can just start building up its fantasy shipyards using Lego bricks for speed. How long is real building of shipyards going to take? How long it will take just to train skilled workers to go big into shipbuilding? Have they even started training and producing naval engineers in universities to cater to the expected demand? I think they just found out about China's shipbuilding dominance not long ago, so no head start yet obviously to address the manpower problem. Same old same old Trump standing on a dung heap, showboating and putting the cart before the horse. Why brag so much when the world knows it is all baloney, same as the rare earth alliances now being created.

I expect China to say nothing and keep mum about the issue, as always. Let the facts speak for itself in time to come. By the way, all the crowing about China's weapon development have been done by the MSM of the West and anti-China social media, just to keep hyping up the Chinese threat. China just built weapons that it needs, quietly, tested them discreetly, keep them away from prying eyes. They are only exposed in battle, like the India/Pakistan conflict recently. Chinese weapons will be tested again in Venezuela and Iran, as Israel is planning another attack.

Blockade America without blockading

 Blockade has been a vicious weapon of the American terrorists to cripple the economies of many Global South countries, like Cuba, Iran, North Korea, even Russia and now Venezuela, and a few Latin American countries in the queue. The evil American Empire has been bullying, threatening, coercing countries of the Global South also through sanctions, trade embargoes, bans, Entity List etc etc. This has always been a one way affair with irresponsible and aggressive tactics and behaviours that the western media and their crony media would not dare or want to report, always painting the American terrorists as the good guy, the responsible guy, for peace, freedom, democracy and respecting human rights and national sovereignty.

Look at what the American terrorists are doing to Venezuela and other Central and Latin American countries. It is now cold blooded murder in the Caribbean Sea and naked daylight piracy by the American terrorists in uniforms.

Venezuela is now facing a very severe challenge to its survival, with complete blockade by the American terrorists headed by lunatic Trump and his Washington clowns. Many countries would like to help the Venezuelans. The crushing of Venezuela will embolden the American terrorists to do the same to more countries in Central and Latin America and the global South. The rest of the world cannot stand idle without responding to this savage threat by the Americans. Canada and Greenland will be next for the taking. 

The Global South countries, especially China, Russia, Iran, North Korea must take the lead to organise a united front against the American terrorists. A direct blockade of the American homeland is difficult and dangerous. But the whole world can blockade the Americans without having to lift a finger, without putting themselves in harms way. Just quietly stop trading with the Americans. No buying American goods and services, no selling goods and services to the Americans. When the rest of the world acts in concert, together, it is as good as blockading America. America will become like a lion in the desert, deprived of food and water and comfort, left high and dry, to die starving in under the heat of the desert.

Central and Latin American states have to close rank to take on the Americans. They are closest to the threat. Trump is imposing the Monroe Doctrine on them, treating them like American assets, American colonies to be dispossess of everything they have, natural resources, wealth, their gold reserves, their freedom and dignity. Make the first move to be free and independent from the evil American Empire. China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, the BRICS nations and the Global South will be with you. 

American power comes from its warships and warplanes. China and Russia did not have to fight directly with the Americans, warships and warplanes versus warships and warplanes. They can fight an asymetrical war with the Americans, providing all the anti warships and anti warplanes hypersonic missiles to cripple the American military might and power projection. The Houthis could do it with lesser military resources, Venezuela and Latin American states are better equipped with Russian, Chinese and Iranian missiles that will keep the American warplanes and warships out of Latin and Central America. That would be good enough. 

The cost of the blockade at tens of millions daily will bankrupt the American terrorists, couple with the ceasing of trades and economic blockade that would lead to unrest in American homeland. 

The evil American Empire has isolated itself, has no friends. Even its allies and cronies are wanting to break free from American oppression.

Blockade the evil American Empire by doing nothing, not doing anything, just stay at home and watch TV with champagne and popcorns. Yes, Global South countries can help Venezuela and themselves by simply doing nothing...stop all trades with the evil American Empire.

America delays chip tariffs hoping for more leverage?

 US delays China chip tariffs until 2027 amid trade truce

Officials said the timing would allow Washington to maintain leverage without derailing broader negotiations with Beijing.

WASHINGTON: The United States will impose new tariffs on Chinese semiconductor imports but has delayed the move until June 2027, the Trump administration said on Tuesday (Dec 23), signalling an effort to preserve a fragile trade truce with Beijing.

The Office of the US Trade Representative (USTR) said the tariffs would target Chinese “legacy” or older-technology chips, following a year-long investigation into what Washington called Beijing’s “unreasonable” push for dominance in the semiconductor industry. The tariff rate will be announced at least 30 days before taking effect.  CNA

The Americans continue with their incessant attacks on China in all fields, in trades and technology etc etc. Anyone thinking that this trade war will stop for any reason needs to get his head checked. This is America's war to bring down China so that the Americans can continue to sit on top of the pecking world order. It is about American control and dominance, about the American Empire.

Now, why would the Americans want a pause? Oh, a pause for more negotiations? My toes are laughing. The Americans would not hold back anything to destroy China. The real reasons, they cannot do away with the Chinese legacy chips and the Chinese supply chains. American industries, especially the automobile industries would run into an abrupt halt without the Chinese chips. They are fully dependent on China to keep the lights on in the factories. F35s have stopped production and delivery for shortage of rare earths.

It would be better for China just to cut off the supply chains and chips and see the American factory workers having to stand down, unable to continue with their production. Just because the Americans are delaying chip tariff does not mean that China will continue to supply them with what they want. A complete decoupling should be the goal. Yes, the American balls are being squeezed by China in their stupid and unthinking war with their main suppliers, or as they said, war against their bankers and creditors. Only the clowns in Washington cannot see the stupidity and futility of this war that they cannot win.

Go on and raise tariffs on Chinese chips, do not be afraid, do not be shy. Who are you bluffing?
