There is now an alternative, from the BRICS countries and the Global South, to offer protection and to defend the rights and interests of the Palestinians and the Arabs and Muslims. Eygpt offered 20,000 for a joint Arab force to protect the Palestinians. Indonesia offered 20,000 and even more if needed.

The latest defence pact between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, on the basis of attack on one, means attack on both, with Pakistan offering nuclear protection to Saudi Arabia is the most innovative and positive creation of the 21st Century. Pakistan has offered this pact to any country that needs its nuclear umbrella. The Americans and Israelis did not see this coming. All the Arab and Muslim states being threatened by the Americans and Israel are likely to form a beeline for this defence pact to neutralise the Israelis.
It is also a big statement of distrust of the Americans and looking for security and protection away from the Americans.
