 All that is becoming obsolete, stealth or otherwise. China has nuclear missiles, the DF 5C, with a range of 20,000 km, that can hit anything anywhere in the USA and any USA military base overseas. Nowhere is safe. It is a missile with 'global strike range' not needing submarines, warships or planes to get closer to targets to deliver.

China also has thousands of small fishing vessels that can be converted to military use. And lest we forget, China has such overwhelming manufacturing overcapacity to be tapped into in times of war.

China is obviously really well prepared for any war, cold or hot. And with Russia and North Korea in its corner, the power shift is obvious. But China is not overplaying its card. What Xi is saying about its display of weapons during the Victory Day Parade is that those are just deterrents against enemies thinking that China is still as backward as during the opium war era and can be threatened with few warships and cannons. More than that, Xi is warning that China will not bow to bullies, clear and unambiguous. In this world, there is only one country that is bullying everybody, and the message is targeting that particular country.

China has played its card exceedingly well by building up its unprecedented military deterrents, albeit at a fraction of the cost that some war mongering hegemons are spending on. Moreover, the control of rare earth exports has crippled the enemy's ability to make more weapons to target China and Trump knows this very well. This move is what the Chinese had been saying throughout history - 'To really kill the grass, you need to pull out the roots, otherwise when the spring wind blows, it will grow again'.

China's long-term thinking and long-term planning is bearing fruit.

The USA and the Japanese were both in cahoots with the West, both members of the Eight Nations, attempting to split up China into concessions to be ruled by them, just like in Africa. Had the Chinese not fought back themselves, China would be just like Africa, divided and ruled.

Had the Japanese not attacked Pearl Harbour, the USA would not even have entered WW2. How in the world was the USA ever in defense of China against the Japanese when the two themselves were eventually fighting against each other during WW2. This is what Trump is good at, trying to claim credit using history, where credit is not due.

Suffice to say, India's distancing itself from Trump's claim that he brokered the peace deal with Pakistan hit a raw nerve in Trump, eliciting a juvenile response by Trump escalating his tariffs to 50%. Why now? India had been buying Russian oil throughout the three years of the Ukraine War, and this is being used as an excuse by Trump to target India, when the true reason was about India sabotaging Trump's attempt to gain credit for his Nobel Peace Prize agenda.

Taiwan is ruled by Japanese or half Japanese masquerading as Chinese. The Victory Parade is clearly directed at Japan's defeat, and the Japanese are unhappy about China raking up old wounds. So, how Taiwan acted is clearly just toeing the Japanese line, nothing strange. Had Trump been invited and had he attended, it may have turned the tale of three cities - USA, Japan and Taiwan's relations into a circus. That could have given Taiwan the jitters for sure.

China is not that hard hit by USA tariffs to need to woo India to counter its standoff against the USA. In fact, Xi is telling those at the Victory Day parade that China has never bowed to bullies. This is not what works in the old days when the USA is the much sought after market for every country. Today, there is a growing Global South that can easily dispense with the importance of the USA as the most important export market. In fact, Trump's tariffs have driven the last nail in the coffin of the old mantra. Trump may yet try to spin his tariff failure, which is clearly facing failure, by blaming the USA Judiciary for calling out its illegality.

Rules Based Order versus American Rules Based Order or Laws of the Mafia

  Pro American or western biased countries, having been brought up in the western environment or western domination, are very comfortable using the term Rules Based Order. In its original and purest form, this is a fair and orderly system for a stable and predictable world, for international trade and international relations. However, Rules Based Order is not as simple or as innocuous as it seems. When the Americans or the West talk about Rules Based Order, they are referring to a system where they write the rules in their favour and for the rest of the world to follow. And they are above the law, they did not have to follow the rules they wrote.

The West has dominated and ruled the world for several centuries and all the rules are written by them, set by them. All the international institutions created by the West have rules that favoured the West. For example the UN, where 5 permanent members of the Security Council have veto rights to dismiss any resolution submitted to the Council. And to ensure their absolute control of the Security Council and the UN, 3 of the Security Council members are Europeans. You could make it 4, as Russia is also a European country. And to make sure nothing goes wrong, all it needs is one council member to veto a resolution, it would be enough to prevent it from passing. Similarly, the WTO, the IMF, have more voting rights for western countries, and the head must be a westerner, the HQ must be in a western country, and they wrote the rules and the laws. 

Rules Based Order as promoted by the Americans and the West is not the simple and innocent Rules Based Order that countries of the Global South think. This is the main reason why the Americans and the West always insist that they must write the rules for the world, ie they must control and rule the world. And they are up in arms against a rising China that wants to change the rules, to change the balance of power for a fairer world, not a world dominated and controlled by western rules and orders.

A glaring example lately is the Americans dictating to the rest of the world not to use chips from Huawei or any Huawei equipment that have Huawei chips in them. Anyone, corporation or individual, or country violating this American ban is guilty and can be charged and fined or jailed under American law. This means the Americans own the whole world, rule the world, and they can write laws and police the world. Yes, they are the self imposed policemen of the world. They own the world.

How many silly Global South countries accept this, that the Americans should be the policemen of the world to rule over them, to arrest them as and when they like? What is the meaning of independence and national sovereignty if the Americans are the policemen of the world?

Accepting American Rules Based Order is to accept to be ruled by the Americans and the West, to lose your independence and sovereignty, to be colonies of the American Empire. The Americans would decide the roles of countries of the world. One thing for sure, no country can be richer and more powerful than America. The African countries must always be the shithole of the world, just to supply raw materials to the West, and be ruled by the West. The Arab and Muslim countries must be the producers of oil and must channel their oil revenue to buy American debt, ie selling their oil to exchange for American monopoly money. And they can only sell oil to countries the Americans allowed them to. 

The Americans and the West would be the hegemonic Empire ruling over the world. This balance of power cannot be challenged. Any country challenging this would be executed, like Saddam Hussein, Gaddafi, and now the crosshair is trained on Putin and Xi for the guts to want to change this world order. Oops, an easier target would be the African leader Traore of Burkina Faso. It is ok under the American Rules Based Order to execute him and put another African that would do the bidding of the American Empire. All African and Middle Eastern leaders please take note of this and be obedient and not try to be funny, to want to be independent from the American Empire. Under the American Rules Based Order, you are only free, as free as the Americans allow you to be, like Europe, Japan and South Korea.

The American terrorists simply called the President of Venezuela as the head of drug cartel, put a US$50m bounty on his head, and wanted him dead or alive. This is American's mafia Rules Based Order. And they can simply invade any country on the pretext of countering terrorism, drug smuggling, violating the sovereignty of countries. The American terrorists, the marines, just killed 11 Venezuelans in cold blood, without needing any proof of crime. They can kill anyone, anywhere, anytime. The Americans are still behaving like savages of the past. Responsible stakeholders???

Oops, I forgot Canada, Mexico and Greenland....the Americans can just take them when they want to, by force. In the Ukraine War, under their Rules Based Order, they can gang up to fight Russia. No country can fight on the side of Russia or even trade with Russia. In Gaza, they supplied all the bombs and weapons for the Israelis to genocide the Palestinians and pretend they have nothing to do with it.
