The real reasons why India begged for a ceasefire

 Yes, India begged Pakistan for a ceasefire. They have no choice. The noise about Trump initiating a ceasefire also has some truth as well. The Americans ordered the war during Vance's visit and knowing that India was defeated and could suffer more damages, cancelled the order, told the Indians to back down, and withdrew all support for the war. This infuriated the Indians who vehemently denied the Americans' role in the ceasefire.

To understand why the Indians were forced to call for a ceasefire, it is important to note the prewar rhetoric from the Indians. From the very start, India was all out for an attack on Pakistan. India ignored Pakistan's call for an international investigation on the terrorist attack, probably knowing that the result would reveal the hideous Indian and American plot. India simply blamed Pakistan for it without wanting any explanation or proof and Pakistan was found guilty and needed to be punished, to be taught a painful lesson. 

And the Indians believed foolhardily that they had air superiority with their Rafales. Nothing in the Pakistan side could take on the Rafales. India wanted to show its military might, especially the newly acquired French toys. And India was the first to strike 9 positions inside Pakistan. Such acts spoke for themselves, that India was the arrogant aggressor. And a victorious India would not just stop at that. They would want to continue to whack the Pakistanis. 80 fighter aircraft airborne at the same time in war formation was no small matter. Think of the damages they could inflict. It was a very serious threat against Pakistan.

Why then did the Indians called for a ceasefire immediately, after 6 aircraft were shot down? The warmongering and conceited Indian psychic is similar to the American warmongers. Negotiate from position of strength. Never call for a ceasefire unless losing, like in the Korean War, in the Red Sea and now in Ukraine. If all the claims of successfully attacking Pakistan and downing Pakistan aircraft were true, would India call for a ceasefire and backed down like a mouse?

The key reason came from France. The French were in shock that 3 Rafales could be shot down in one brief encounter, without taking down an enemy aircraft. This was very serious. It affected the reputation of the Rafales as the best fighting machine in Europe. They needed to know why before more Rafales are shot down. They immediately told the Indians to ground all the Rafales for self preservation and investigation. The French cannot afford to lose more Rafales without knowing why.

Without their state of the art game changer, the Rafales, leading the fight, the Indians were left only with outdated Sukhois and MiGs. These were no match for the J10s and JF17s. The Pakistanis now have air superiority, control of the sky. Indian aircraft would be shot down without knowing why. The Indian pilots too were urinating in their pants, afraid to fly. No air cover, the Indian ground forces would be hit at will by the Pakistanis.

Modi the South Asia gangster chief had no choice. A ceasefire would be a big slap in his face and all his political opponents and Indians would attack him and lose confidence in him. The pressure and reasons for him to call for a ceasefire must be so great that he had no other choices. He admitted negotating directly with the Pakistanis for a ceasefire. He has to beg and kneel down to the Pakistanis for a ceasefire. Can any Indian accept this, that their great hero, Modi, had to call the Pakistanis for a ceasefire?

Modi has to swallow all his pride and vanity and end the war immediately, no more show of force, no more 80 aircraft in the air to threaten Pakistan. Trump might have played a small role, but Modi was the main actor in calling for a ceasefire that he reluctantly had to agree to. Modi's reputation as the Indian shaman of war is gone for good. No more tough talks. Sacking two generals would not help. 10 days of celebration for a fake victory would not help. The Indians did not want a ceasefire. They wanted to teach the Pakistanis a big lesson, to defeat the Pakistanis. But they know that they had been defeated by their smaller neighbour, Pakistan.

Pakistan must not take this ceasefire for granted. India is a sore loser and very vengeful. India is now plotting and planning for the next big attack on Pakistan. Pakistan must not let its guard down and continue to prepare for the next Indian attack. India will be forever trying to bring down Pakistan for good. 500,000 Indian troops have been mobilised to the Indian Pakistan border.

Chinese military hardware no need fake gold plating and lies

This is only what we have seen of Chinese military hardware against Western hardware, but we have certainly not seen the best there is and the best there will be of Chinese weapons. All those past decades the world had been fed the narrative that only Western military weapons are the best, while the Chinese only made junks.

The Chinese have almost kept mum on what they have in their arsenal, invoking Western speculations like the 6th generation fighter jet and new aircraft carriers, that are visible by satellite imaginary. The J10 by the way is already decades old, but certainly not obsolete.

Perhaps keeping secrets close to the chest is a trait in the Chinese DNA. In olden China, a master of martial arts will never impart to an outsider the most lethal move, reserved only for children to inherit or best students they could trust, which sometimes also backfired. Why was this mindset inherent in the Chinese DNA? There have been stories of outsiders and spies learning martial arts from schools and later using them against the school. Therefore, keeping the most lethal move from them is just a safety measure.

The USA and the West cannot just be mum on their developments all along, as they are looking to corner the market for military weapon sales in the past, an agenda feeding into their war mongering doctrine. They have to tout the effectiveness of their weapons in order to entice countries to buy them, probably starting wars to improve their sales. China was not a weapons supplier in the past but is moving into one to compete with the West now. Hopefully, China must not be carried away and be totally upfront on its military weapon developments, keeping the best for itself and away from its competitors and keep them guessing. That is probably the best deterrent, knowing that the West is trying to bring China down by hook or by crook, in the past, present and in future as well. History is there to be learnt.

What China is doing is a good strategy. Let the West continue to downplay Chinese military hardware and let them fall into a false sense of security and superiority complex. This is the same strategy that China embarked on in quietly securing all the raw materials for industries, prioritizing on growth sectors like EVs, solar panels, wind turbines, shipbuilding and upgrading its military strength. China has warned that it is ready to fight any war with the USA.

China uses economic power to help the rest of the world

If China behaves like a warmonger and acts like USA, you can expect the USA will call out its doggies to attack China like hyenas in a frenzy. What China does around its doorstep has already been capitalized by the USA to raise tensions against Taiwan and Philippines directly, and indirectly against Vietnam and Australia.

China already told the world it uses soft power, going against the USA hard power of starting wars. China leverages on helping developments instead of destruction, giving loans to poor countries not for buying weapons but developments, building the BRI to enhance connectivity, constructing dams, ports and airports, building both high speed and normal railways for other countries This has not escaped the eyes of countries sitting on the fence and winning them over rather than using force and veiled threats to subdue them.

Great that the Africans have seen the light of day after centuries of stagnation under the yolk of colonial rule and exploitation. The South Americans are now also waking up and realizing who is actually buttering their bread. Even the Central Asian countries are jumping on the Chinese /Russian wagon, all attending the recent Victory Day parade in Moscow together with China. Here in ASEAN, the situation is not so clear cut, but many among ASEAN are looking favorably at China save for one or two black sheep. Hard to fathom what the Arabs and Muslims are aiming for at this point of time, with divided loyalties at the crossroads, trying to straddle two boats at the same time, like India.

India Pakistan War - Who won?

 The Pakistanis claimed they shot down 6 Indian aircraft and won. The Indians counter claimed that they shot down several Pakistani aircraft and won and celebrated for 10 days. The whole world knows who won. No need any guessing. The French and Americans reported the downing of the Rafales but nothing about the downing of Pakistani aircraft. Anyway, put all this aside and take a look from other angles.

Let's take a look at the press briefings by both parties. The Pakistani air marshal and generals were all smiles during their briefing. The Indian air marshals, generals and admirals were stern, looking very down cast or unhappy. Their facial expression did not tell the onlookers that they were winners of a war.

The Pakistanis were not blaming anyone or anything. On the other hand, the Indians were blaming everyone, everything. They were very angry with the French, with the Americans. they even boycotted Turkey and Azerbaijan. A winner of a war does not need to be complaining or blaming anyone. Is this very telling of who won the war?

Then there was the Paris Air Show, a great opportunity for the French and Indians to show case their great victory and the great Rafales with all their kills. Why didn't the French or the Indians think of it? At the very least, there will be big news about the successes of the Rafales in the war. Why was nothing mentioned in the Air Show? Nothing to crow about, nothing to show or proof?

On the other hand, everyone was crowding the J10 C booth in the Langkawi Air Show just to have a good look at the aircraft that downed 3 Rafales, 1 SU30, 1 MiG 29 and 1 Mirage 2000. All the VIPs were showing their thumbs up for the J10 C, taking photos with the J10 C. The Indonesians were asking their govt to cancel the order for the Rafales and go for the J10 Cs instead.

In spite of the so called victory celebration, the Indian politicians and Modi were in a foul mood. The Indian main and social media were hysterical, calling fouls all over the place, attacking and cursing at everyone, not cheering and not celebrating. The Indians were cursing and blocking American media, French media, BBC, Al Jazeera, Global Times etc etc. The Indians were fuming. The western countries, all were India's friends, were not on India's side, to say India won, but actually saying India lost.

The Americans and the French did not send congratulatory messages to Modi for a great victory over Pakistan. Not a single country did that. Not even Singapore. Why?
