Can public transport system deal with 10m population?

 USA's economy is all about money printing and weapons sale. Red Dot's economy seems to be all about bricks and mortar, and therefore suitable for Indians. I agree that Trump's H-1B policy is some cause for salivating for Red Dot.

Having said that, our MRT trains are already becoming like in Japan, which may need employing pushers to push people into trains like sardines during peak hours if this goes on. People living in Sengkang and Hougang have been complaining about not being able to board trains during morning peak hours due to overcrowding. But i guess this is the situation all over the island.

Ten million population must be a sick joke by sick politicians. Of course, they have comfortable cars to travel in, so they do not have any problem at all. Sometimes people living in glass houses pretend to be blind, when they were supposed to be able to see everything around them. But they only see what they want to see, not what they do not want to see.

That brings me to talk about living in Hougang during the 70s, 80s and 90s, with traffic jams the norm every morning. It was traumatic going to work and getting caught in perennial traffic jams, day in and day out. Complaints were never addressed, with Politicians not believing in the situation for decades on end. It was only when a transport minister facing repeated complaints (if I remember correctly, it was Mah Bow Tan) who took the trouble to board a bus during peak hours from Upper Serangoon towards the city that he saw the situation clearly. The decision then was that they need a MRT line in the Northeast to mitigate and solve the long-standing congestion and hence the North-East MRT line was constructed and opened in 2003, on top of numerous other roads widening and viaduct construction. Of course, with development slated in Punggol, the traffic problem had to be addressed.

First they grab your money, now they grab your land. No, it is not China, it is the USA!

 USA will make all the cars for their home market as they could not ever compete with Chinese EVs sold outside the USA in price and innovation. USA citizens will have all the freedom but do not have a choice even in buying a car.

China will be making all the cars for its domestic market, BRICS countries and the Global South. There is no need for China to quarrel with the USA about tariffs even if it rises to 1,000%. It is a non-issue if Chinese EVs do not have to sell in the USA. That would make everybody happy. Chinese EV makers happy, USA consumers happy, China happy, BRICS happy, Trump happy and the Global South also happy.

So, what is the problem? Uh Oh, lest I forgot, Trump is going to make many countries part of the USA - Canada, Greenland, Mexico and Panama for a start of his global ambition. Japan, South Korea, Philippines and Singapore may follow soon. Even the Gulf of Mexico is not safe from the USA imperialist ambition. Then China may have a problem selling to those countries.

When the USA starts seizing territories and countries, everyone would be asking 'Who is next', just like the seizure of Russia assets. Not all countries are as dumb as what the USA thinks, only some. Same as the saying - You can fool most people most of the time, some people all the time, but not all people all the time.

American authoritative regime is so amazing and so are the American hillbillies

 The Empire of Lies have been spreading the lie that Russia and China have been locking up their citizens, restricting their freedom and controlling them with strict and authoritative rules and laws and keeping them undernourished and deprived within their poor countries. Life in China and Russia are tough and fearful and with little freedom.

The truth that is now revealed and discovered by the Americans through the Xiaohongshu or RedNote app is that the Americans are the real victims, kept poor and deprived and with little freedom by the authoritative American regime, controlling their lives with lies and deceit. The amazing thing is that the Americans that were lied to, and kept in the dark of what is happening in China were not illiterate peasants but well educated Americans, supposedly well informed and intelligent individuals. The other amazing thing is that they have been kept in the dark, in a prison without walls by the Empire of Lies for so many decades, from young to mature adults, without the ability and curiousity to want to find out the truth themselves, willingly believing in the American lies as the truth without question. The other amazing thing is that the internet was invented by the Americans, and they have full access to information around the world. Oops, only fake information provided by their main media.

Why are these amazing things happening to the Americans for so long? The Americans are like the elephant that has been brainwashed to believe the thin piece of rope around their legs is as strong as the previous chain that they were tied to. The Americans have been so conditioned to believe all the lies that the American regime have been telling them, believing in all the fictions and distorted truth fed to them in their main media. And they only found out that they have been lied to for their whole life by accident, by peeping into a Chinese app only to be shocked out of their life. They could not believe that what they saw and heard about life in China were true initially. When the truth was showered on them like cold water, they were literally in shock. How could the American authoritative regime, which they believed were all goodness and champion of truth, democracy and freedom be lying to them with outright lies? And another amazing thing that they found out is that the Chinese govt that was so demonised by the American regime did not lie to the Chinese people.

How are the well educated and naive Americans, supposedly intelligent people, going to take this revelation that the American regime is the real nasty liars that deceived them and cheated them for so long and that the Chinese people are actually living a better life than them and the Chinese govt is working very hard to better the life of the Chinese people? On the other hand, the American regime is robbing them of their hard earned money and making life very expensive, very hard and tough for them to get by?

Even I am amazed by this discovery, that the American people have been lied to by the American regime with fake news and disinformation for several lifetimes. In a way I too cannot believe that the American govt, every day gloating about human rights, about freedom, about freedom of choice, free speech, could go so far to lie to the American people and wrapped them up in a wall of lies and disinformation so effectively and so easily.

Now, after discovering the truth, what are the American people going to do about it? Everything is so amazing when the good guy that the Americans believed wholeheartedly is the real devil in disguise. And some Americans are still in denial, refusing to believe what they see and hear in the RedNote app.

Trump's Stargate returns to Hollywood

 During Trump's inauguration, he lined the first row with the tech billionaires and announced a US$500b AI infrastructure project called Stargate. This project lasted one day when China released the DeepSeek app that cost US$5.5m, yes millions not billions, to develop. This new app makes a mockery of all the billion dollar American AI apps and the multi million dollar salaries of the CEOs of these companies.

China is telling Trump and the Americans that AI apps could be developed very cheaply and Trump needs not waste US$500b to build the infrastructure. At most 10% or less would do the job. Trump should therefore return the script to Hollywood, oops to the tech billionaire with vested interest in spending big money.

For the last few years. the tech CEOs have been playing a game of building a very expensive wall using the most expensive Nvidia chips around the AI industry. They have created a myth that only with plenty of expensive and advanced chips could one succeed in developing high performance AI apps like OpenAI, ChatGPT and so on. It was a lie that they created to con and deter other companies and developers from entering the industry. The multi billion dollar wall is their barrier to entry into the game, keeping small and financially weak participants out of the game. This is how they want to dominate and monopolize the industry for themselves. The hype was to throw in billions after billions to frighten off aspiring developers and companies. Another way of looking at it is that they did not have a clue of what AI is all about, thinking that it is so complex and only billions of dollars can make it work.

DeepSeek called their bluff. It required only a fraction of the billions to develop a comparable app that is just as good and better for the mass market. And DeepSeek even make its app available for free, open source, to undercut what the tech giants were trying to do to monopolise the industry. All the aspiring developers and companies are rushing in to develop their own apps with cheaper and less advanced chips like DeepSeek. The game is now open to all and sundry, and DeepSeek is showing them how to do it. 

With one stroke, the lies of the big tech CEOs were exposed. They might be able to con Trump but not the tech geeks. Now they have nowhere to hide and looking not only stupid but have to answer for the billions they have spent on something that could be so cheap. Trump would have to revise his US$500b budget or he would look foolish. No one would give him that kind of money when the truth is out. Trump must be furious. How dare the tech CEOs lied to him and made a fool of him. US$500b is now looking so ridiculous to talk about. His Stargate should be called Stardust.

The benefits of BRI and BRICS versus useless world organisations created by the AngloSaxons

 Now we should know that the BRI is not a creation of the Whites. BRICS is also not a creation of the Whites. And the Whites have been demonizing these two bodies with fabrication and disinformation, because they are outside their control.

The Anglo-Saxon Whites have been fabricating the narrative that the aid provided by China via the BRI for infrastructure development is a debt trap. However, most recipients of the aid have expressed a totally different perspective, welcoming such aid as a great help for them to progress with infrastructures to show. Who is telling the truth and who is just promoting disinformation? Do we believe the jealous saboteurs', having nothing to do with those aid, but just throwing spanners into the works or the beneficiaries of those infrastructures tied to the aid? Is the USA and the West really that caring and concern, worrying about other country's debt?

BRICS is facing the same Anglo-Saxon demonization. China is the biggest economy in BRICS and the USA, and the West are alleging that all BRICS does is giving China added avenues to influence and benefiting from the bloc. They are not happy with China diverting more trade within and among more BRICS countries at the expense of the USA and EU. The fact that trade within BRICS countries is done outside the US$ is even more profound for the Anglo-Saxon White countries. It is a de-dollarization move pure and simple.

Talking about all the World Bodies, the UN is practically a lame duck in dealing with the Gaza situation, totally brushed aside by Netanyahu. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency or UNRWA have just been given the ultimatum to leave Jerusalem by 30th January, which means it cannot work to bring relief to Palestinian without co-ordination with Israel. They could suffer Israeli attacks at will.

The ICJ and ICC are practically useless entities in the eyes of the world, not daring to do anything about the war crimes committed by USA and UK leaders in Iraq. That it was an illegal war based on fabricated evidence and lies at the UN, dragging the rest of the world into the conflict, is an even bigger crime against humanity.
