Main media's role in making negative comments about China

On main media, almost every posting is about planting doubts about China's ability to carry out its plan with the innocuous question mark' headlining the posting 'Can China succeed with this and that'. This is playing reverse psychology to trick the un-informed. I ignored such posting whenever they used such innocuous questioning as click-bait, to cater to a biased audience with already preset mindsets.

It is, which I noted in the past, the same with Channel News America when they interview guest, by first planting a negative question to start the interview, which the interviewee will be forced to answer and set the tone for the whole interview. For example, when discussing COVID, the first question asked would be about the investigation of the Wuhan lab leakage. Nobody seems to want to ask about the Fort Detrick leakage that had been furiously covered up.

Trump - American gangster new application on Rules of Law

The US president-elect has vowed to prevent the “US canal” from falling into “the wrong hands”

President Jose Raul Mulino has addressed the nation in response to US President-elect Donald Trump's threat to retake control of the Panama Canal, a vital waterway that contributes billions of dollars to the Panamanian economy annually and serves as a crucial artery for global trade. RT

The above is a typical example of the evil Empire acting as if they own the world and can do as they like. If this kind of lawlessness is condoned and not stopped, the Americans could use the same excuse to take over other countries' assets, including their independence. Would the American terrorists take over Taiwan, Singapore, the Straits of Malacca, the future Kra Canal, to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands? American Rules of Laws allowed them to set the rules and laws to their advantage, at their whims and fancy, against the interests of other nation states.

So, when is America going to take over the Panama Canal or the Suez Canal? Does the UN and nation states object to this lawless behaviour of the American terrorists? Would Singapore have anything to say about such behaviour as it would undermine Singapore as a small nation state in a strategic location that the Americans would take over under this gangster behaviour and reasoning?

D grader Trump is a very dangerous tyrant when in the White House with all the military power in his hands. He could even think of taking over all the oil fields in the Middle East using the same gangster logic. They have already taken over the oil fields of Iraq and Syria. And they have attempted to take over the oil fields of Venezuela.

What about the islands of the South Pacific? When would the American terrorists decide to take them over for the same reason? The reason Trump is furious is the high rates for ships using the Panama Canal. Trump said it is too expensive, so might as well take over. This is an equally insane thinking, but clever thinking of a D grader. He can use it to take over any business for charging too high a price.

Trump is going to make America Great Again by taking over Canada and Queensland and whatever he fancies. Any dummy still supporting the American Rules of Law, more accurate, Rules of Lawlessness.

Food during the tour - A pictorial essay

Inside a tea merchant shop during a tea tasting session in my last trip. All the brown packages behind the lady are tea leaves. We were served more than 10 types of tea, including very old tea leaves and iced Pu erh, a more expensive type of Pu erh tea. Being not a tea drinker, taste adulterated by coffee, Tie Guan Yin, I found Pu erh rather bland. Not to my taste. Pu erh is meant to be very good for health, thus rather pricey. Click to enlarge pics.

Food is one of the main items in the whole tour. We ate and ate until cannot tahan. Too much food. Every meal, lunch or dinner, is 15 courses...ah. But this presentation was the last dinner we had. A rather simple meal and lesser in quantity, was a specialty of the Yi minority tribe. It originated from the dedication of a wife caring for her husband who isolated himself in an island to prepare for the Imperial Examination. In the cold winter, the food/chicken was accidentally kept warm by a thick layer of oil. And the husband finally passed the exam on his third attempt.

The hot pot was brewing a local delicacy, a poisonous mushroom that must be well cooked. Taking it under cooked is poisonous. We had to wait for it to be thoroughly cooked. Quite frightening experience, and hesitant to try.

Closer view of the mushroom, the darker ones in the pot. In the rest of the meals we had, the table would be full of dishes and needed to clear and clear to make way for 15 dishes, including fish, poultry and meat. And they all came continuously, one after another.

Eating China street food or in restaurants is always very kind to your pocket. You can eat all the street food that are interesting and of great value without having to worry about the cost. And you would not be fleeced by unscrupulous sellers. The prices are fixed in most cases while some bargaining may be possible in small shops or stalls. With so much food and varieties available, no need for MacDonald or Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Syria - Arab nations big move or more of another big joke?

3 minutes clip telling how Israel and the Americans are attacking Syria daily and scheming to break up all the Arab states into smaller states for eventual absorption into Greater Israel, and the fictitious actions of the Arab nations to save themselves.

When the Israeli and Americans make big moves, it would be immediate attacks with heavy bombing of cities and population with big bombs. When the Arab states talked about big moves, it would be nothing but noise and more noise and no action. The favourite is to cry in the UN or to beg the Americans.

And if they attack, it would be a few rockets thrown into no man's land in Israel, at most burning a car or killing a dog. In the case of American or Israeli or American attacks, it would be flattening cities and killing hundreds and thousands of the population, mostly civilians. Look at Gaza now, and the Arabs are so happy that there could be a negotiated peace, after the Israelis and the Americans have done their 'mowing' with the whole area flattened and destroyed and a few hundred thousand Palestinians dead or incapacitated. The Americans and Israelis have done their mowing and the Palestinians would be out of action for another ten years, before another mowing starts again.

Who is going to pay for the rebuilding of destroyed Gaza and the dead and maimed Palestinians? Hopefully they are not taken over as part of Greater Israel for good.

The only real fighters that are fighting the Israelis and the Americans are now left to the Hamas and the Houthis. Hezbollah is almost defanged. As for the rest of the Arab states, might as well forget about them. If they really want to put a serious fight against the Americans and the Israelis and to win, start acquiring anti aircraft carrier missiles to keep the American carriers out of the region, and the ability to destroy all the airfields in the region. It is so easy and efficient to destroy aircraft carriers and airfields than to defend against aircraft attacks. These are big and slow moving or stationary targets. A missile knocking down one aircraft, is just one aircraft. Destroying an aircraft carrier or keeping them out of the region, is keeping hundreds of aircraft from attacking them. Similarly, destroying airfields would cripple and keep all the aircraft unusable, cannot fly.

Houthis has just scored a major kill in knocking down an American F18 fighter jet. The Americans and the Israelis are furious and Nethanyahu has ordered the Israelis to wipe out the Houthis. What would the Arab states do to protect and aid the Houthis? Without the Houthis, the Palestinians would have been wiped out, and so would the other Arab states by the Americans and Israelis.

When would the Arab states be real and stop becoming forever jokers, unable to defend themselves and forever be bullied by the Americans, the West and Israel? When would they use their wealth to really acquire the hardware to defend and protect themselves? The Americans and the West would not sell them anything useful. But there is China and Russia with the hardware to give them a fighting chance. Stop talking and crying and start to do something real.

If the Arab states refuse to change their mindset, they can only wait for the Americans and the Israelis to execute their plans to attack them and annex them into Greater Israel, sooner or later. That is the fate of jokers.

Changing fortunes of EU and Myanmar

One other aspect of what China is doing has more or less escaped the eyes of many watching the geopolitical and economic changes going on around the world. Most of the talk had been about China dominating more and more of the manufacturing sectors in almost every domain, except creating wars, printing money and instigating regime changes.

China is also diverting its agricultural imports and meat from the USA and Europe in a big way, but subtlety of course, migrating towards Brazil, Russia and other Global South countries. The beauty of such a move is tying this to the BRICS de-dollarization movement, dispensing with the need for the US$. This is depriving USA farmers from getting information about what to grow for next season.

Besides that, Chinese domestic agricultural and fishery growth have been ignored largely by the West. The old adage that food shortage and famine will befall countries like China and India have fallen out of fashion, and enough food is found to be available for Asia. Coupled with this scenario is the expectation that global population will stabilize at 9 billion. In fact, the rapid growth of agricultural sectors for the China market from less traditional sources, the reality is that its growth is even decimating the agricultural sectors of USA and Europe. The real food crisis might happen in the USA and EU, when farmers cannot sell their products, has to grow less and less and even go out of business, which may contribute even to food security issues that could develop in the biggest monolithic agricultural nation, the USA. This is not an exaggeration, but denial is always conveniently available. Of course, using subsidies to help them survive may work, but for how long? Indefinitely?

Decades ago, Myanmar (Burma) was dubbed the rice bowl of South-East Asia, producing much of the rice feeding today's ASEAN. Today Myanmar is not even able to export rice, being overtaken by Thailand and Vietnam. This is the kind of situation that is developing in the USA and EU. Never say never, or impossible.
