President Musk and President Trump running USA

Trump is not that stupid after all. Knowing his own limited intellect, he has roped in one of the smartest kid in the world to share his workload and ideas to Make America Great Again. And this is not all. Musk is working for free, no official title but a lot of work to do, more work than running Tesla, Space X and Twitter X. And this is not all, Musk also has to pay Trump at least US$277 million, as reported, for this privilege to work for Trump. No corruption at all, American style!

And the daft hillbillies are accusing Musk of not being elected for the job. This is how daft the hillbillies are. Is there anyone in the White House that is elected by them to do the job other than Trump? Everyone is appointed by Trump, all the advisors, all the Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries, even head of FBI and CIA, are not elected but appointed.

This is the real American Democrazy. You only elect the President while the rest of his cabinet of shoes and swamp things would be picked up by him according to his fancy. And the shoes often did not fit, and the swamp things get very slimy.

For the people, by the people, of the people? Which part is true and which part is myth? It should be revised as For the elites, by the elites and of the elites. Or better still, For Trump, by Trump and of Trump.

America for once has two presidents at the same time, de facto and de jure. Between the two, which one is smarter? Which one is going to Make America Great Again? Now this situation makes this question quite difficult to answer. Trump is looking like the smarter of the two, having his cake and eat it, with Musk working his guts out and having to pay for it, for a big ransom.

No plausible reason for Xi to accept the invitation from insincere Trump.

In fact, there is no plausible reason for Xi to accept the invitation from an insincere person like Trump. China really has no preference over who sits in the White House, and any indication that Xi is now going to attend the inauguration is tantamount to supporting Trump. Xi attending the inauguration might even be construed as having indicated a preference and may be accused of interfering in USA elections. It is best for Xi to avoid dealing with rascals, villains and charlatans.

Someone commented that Xi should decline the invitation diplomatically by telling Trump that he is too busy dealing with the 'Trade Wars' initiated by Trump since his first term as President, LOL. That will be a veiled insult for Trump to digest, without being brutal.

Xi honestly has no love lost for either Biden or Trump. Diplomatically he and his fellow leaders have to follow protocol by meeting them and their representatives when they visit China for talks. That is not a sign of weakness as some had been saying. Other than that, I do not think Xi even wants to see their hypocritical faces.

China does not even need tariffs to protect its domestic market

China does not even need tariffs to protect its domestic market. Foreign manufacturers can do business in China if they can compete with home-grown Chinese manufacturers by offering cheaper goods than those made by Chinese owned factories.

The erection of tariffs is unnecessary for China, as China goes directly for the jugular when retaliating, by refusing to deal with those perpetrators of tariffs, by cutting off imports of products that they produced for the Chinese market. We can see China cutting off imports of most of its agricultural products like soya beans, corn and wheat from the USA. China is also cutting off pork from the EU, going after French cognac as well, putting farmers in the EU at sixes and sevens. Why resort to tariffs, when China can directly inflict immediate pain?

The actions of China in restricting imports from USA and EU benefits BRICS countries like Brazil and Russia among others. What are allies for after all? The further benefit of all this is helping BRICS to de-dollarize by promoting trade among BRICS countries, all outside the purview of the USA and the West and marginalizing the US$ hegemony. Of course, all this can only come about after years of planning and finding alternative sources of supplies, not building toilets when the urge to poo is too strong. Crops need time to grow after all.

West has no moral authority to condemn North Korea over its troops in Russia

Zelenskyy is barking up the wrong tree about North Korean troops in Kursk, which is a part of Russia. What is wrong with a country sending troops to help another ally in its National Security preservation? Kursk has been invaded by Ukraine, and North Korea is just helping Russia to control the region. What is wrong with that? It is not as if North Korean troops are directly fighting in Ukraine.

And toady Yoon Suk Yeol was very militant in his condemnation of North Korean troops in Russia. Russia is already pissed off with South Korea supplying weapons to Ukraine. Russia has retaliated by supplying North Korea with weapons and vice versa. What is wrong with that among allies?

The Europeans are doing exactly the same thing in Ukraine, supplying aid and weapons and even advisors on the ground. No one condemns it, not even the UN wants to talk about it.

The USA has troops stationed in more than 800 military bases all around the world and no one whispered a word of condemnation about its insidious agenda, masquerading as protecting those countries.

In fact, the West has no moral authority to condemn North Korea over its stance. What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. Russia and North Korea can do what is necessary to ensure their National Security and survival.

Trump chanting current favorite mantra - tariffs, tariffs and more tariffs.

Trump is now chanting his current favorite mantra every day - tariffs, tariffs and more tariffs. The old mantra that he chanted during his first term - China, China and more China did not work, and a new mantra has to be invented to fool his supporters. Unfortunately, it worked as those foolish Trump supporters swallowed his lies - hook, line and sinker. Blame them not, as on hindsight, it was a Hobson's Choice, choosing between a rock and a hard place.

As with sanctions falling flat on its face, despite the Anglo-Saxons still flogging the dying sanction horse, trying to scrap the bottom of the barrel to dig for more sanctions against Russia, the new buzzword for Trump is tariffs, the word he already heaped praises to high heaven over its invention but do not understand how it is supposed to work.

Trump does not even know how tariffs work, thinking it is going to punish others, not USA consumers, unlike sanctions. Someone commented that USA citizens must pray harder to God for help since USA leaders are so ignorant of how polices are supposed to work. Trump is going to make China and others great again and, in the process gives de-dollarization a big help.

Meanwhile, Trump has a battle on his hands with his tariffs, when his voters are now realizing that they have been lied to about tariffs, which is now becoming a weapon for self-destruction. The voters were blindsided and took the wrong side of the bargain, the losing side.

But knowing Trump, he can get out of his lies by inventing another lie. Trump is a habitual liar, a compulsive liar as well under pressure. As an example, USA consumers were reported to have complained to Trump about his promise to lower egg prices, which instead of becoming cheaper is now more expensive. I almost fell off my chair laughing when I noted Trump's reply. Trump answered that anything that goes up in price is difficult to bring down. So simple an answer and are the voters convinced? Why did he made the promise earlier about cheaper egg prices when elected during his campaign, which he knows cannot come about just dependent on his whims and fancies to dictate. Already USA farmers livelihood is hanging by a thread, and cheaper eggs will be another rope down their necks.
