Commentary: Chinese security companies are putting boots on the ground in Myanmar. It could go disastrously wrong. This is another China bashing article by an Australian, Adam Simpson, appearing in CNA. This is typical of all the western media and writers about China. Everything China did is wrong and would.
This is the first time that China has decisively taken steps to protect friendly countries from being destroyed and overthrown by foreign provocateurs and terrorists funded and backed by the Americans. On the other hand, the Americans have been doing this as second nature for decades all over the world, especially in Africa and the Middle East, putting boots on the ground, eg American special forces, mercenaries aka contractors, terrorists, CIA operators, to over throw govts, and very successful except for a few when the govt forces are strong enough to keep them out and to defeat them.
China and Russia have been staying out from meddling with the internal affairs of other countries and helplessly seeing their friends and allies being taken down and replaced by rebels and terrorists friendly or supported by the Americans and the West. Syria is the latest victim, with Russia, with boots on the ground, but failing to act, with their hands tied by agreements with the Americans and Israelis, we don't hit you, you don't hit us, but allowing the Americans and Israelis to hit Syria unrestrained...leading to its collapse and Assad fleeing. This is a big failure on the part of Russia, with anti aircraft weapons but not using them to take down Israeli and American warplanes.
China cannot afford to let Myanmar fall to pro American forces and wipe out its investments in Myanmar and have endless trouble on its borders. The fall of Iraq was a lesson not learnt. Now the fall of Syria is a wake up call. Stop restraining yourself by the policy of non interference and allow your friends to be taken down by the Americans and anti China forces.
'China has decided to unequivocally back the junta after years of hedging its bets, but its support opens the door for various complications, says this international studies lecturer,' in his article. Why not? Actually it is too late, but better late than never. The lecturer also admitted, ' China was rather late to the game of overseas private operators, but it has plenty of recent models to follow, such as Russia’s Wagner Group and the Blackwater company from the United States.' China and Russia must up their games to protect their friends against the intervening behaviour of the Americans. This is something that China must copy from the American terrorists. The Americans did not apologise for their warmongering and expansionist behaviour. And the western media did not condemn such interventionist behaviour, even supporting them with cheers of victory in Syria.
