Claimants touting that Japan is the friendliest country in the world must have their eyes checked and heads examined.

Claimants touting that Japan is the friendliest country in the world must have their eyes checked and heads examined.

The Chinese have the saying that when a Japanese meets some other Asians, they bow meekly, but behind their backs, they hold a sickle. Japanese are hypocrites to be honest, very friendly on the surface, but looks down on other Asians, thinking they are the chosen people of the East, like the Israelis in the Middle East.

Had the Japanese conquered the whole of East Asia under their 'Greater East Asia Co-prosperity Sphere' during WW2, and been in control of Asia now, there would not be an ASEAN or China to speak of. Chinese would probably be living in concentration camps and decimated like the Native American Indians. Just reading about the massacres and atrocities the Japanese committed in China and other Asian countries will tell us that the Japanese mentality also relish genocides just to make Japan Great Again.

Japan is still unrepentant over its actions during WW2 and insidiously looking for an opportunity, hoping to rise once again leveraging on the support of the USA. The rising militarization of Japan is one direction that China has to look at constructively. Fortunately, Japan will not just walk over into China again, as the memory of the past is too heavy a price to be paid and allowed to happen again, particularly in relation to China.

India is the only country in BRICS not toeing the line over de-dollarization

India is the only country in BRICS not toeing the line over de-dollarization. That shows India has divided loyalty and cannot be a trusted member of BRICS. India thinks it is very smart to straddle two boats, thinking that should one boat sink, India is still safe with the other foot still hanging on. India has always been a country that wants the cake and eat it.

When India joins any grouping, its intention is to make sure it can extract an advantage but will not contribute anything in return. That is even clearly evident in attracting investments, that ultimately ends up being swallowed by other local Indian companies. The Indians also thinks this is the smartness of Indians in doing business and that everyone else is stupid. The Indians obviously do not believe in the saying 'once bitten twice shy' and that foreign companies also can see what is happening and learning from it.

Suffice to say, what is the point of destroying one's own credibility by resorting to short term gain at the expense of long-term benefit?

Japan is the sneakiest rat of a country that can spring surprises, remember Pearl Harbor during WW2

Japan was one of the eight nations trying to divide China up among themselves during the century of humiliation of China. That Japanese mentality has never died down as evidenced by Japan's refusal to admit the atrocities it committed against China and the rest of Asia.

Japan is unrepentant and still co-operating with the West trying to split China up but is facing a China that is far more powerful economically, militarily and no short of friendly countries in its fold, than the situation existing during its dark period of weakness, that enabled the Anglo-Saxon Whites and Japan to take advantage of to bully China at will.

As I always say, Japan is the most dangerous enemy that China must watch with great care. Japan is the sneakiest rat of a country that can spring surprises, like against the USA at Pearl Harbor during WW2.

Xi rejects Trump's invitation for his inauguration...A correct way to deal with rascals

Trump made an unprecedented gesture to invite Xi to his inauguration ceremony as the next President of the USA. Superficially this looked fine and friendly in the context of bi lateral relation between the two top superpowers and Trump's often claims that Xi is his good friend. At face value, and diplomatically, Xi should reciprocate the friendly gesture and accept the invitation.

On the other hand, looking at the big picture and Trump's character and past behaviour, Xi should simply decline this invitation, which would give Trump a chance to attack Xi, that he tried to be nice and friendly but it was Xi that was unfriendly. Another victory lap for Trump.

There is no reason for Xi to accept the invitation given what Trump has been doing these few months, and recently after his election. Trump has been calling China, China, China with many derogatory terms during his last administration and during his campaign for election. And Trump has also been boasting about how tough he is going to be on China, threatening extreme tariffs and sanctions against China. And these are not the only offensive things that Trump did against China. Trump has named a cabinet full of anti China hawks, showing his intent to attack China at all costs. Trump cannot be trusted and his solitary gesture of inviting Xi must be taken with great apprehension as to what this rascal is up to, mostly no good.

Xi cannot have forgotten how Trump was complicit in the arrest of Meng Wanzhou while having dinner meeting with him in the G20 meeting in Buenos Aires in Dec 2018. That was a very rude behaviour of a scum. Xi would never trust Trump a second time and would be laughed at if this rascal does the same trick on him while attending his inauguration. If it did happen again, Xi might as well stay in the USA and resign from his post, not to return to China anymore. Being cheated once is excusable. Being cheated a second time by the same rascal is unforgiveable for Xi.

Thank God that Xi made the right decision not to attend the den of liars, criminals, rascals, cheats, criminals and inscrutable gangsters.

Xi's decision must be noted by all Chinese officials not to be taken in by the rascals and lying gangsters in Washington. Not a word from them can be trusted. And their intention is hostile, to bring down China, even going to war. Dealing with such rascals should only be on official business only and kept at arm's length. Do not be taken in by their fakery and treacherous behaviour and antics.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. While Trump may be gloating publicly that Xi is his good friend, Xi would not share the same feeling for him.

China does not even need tariffs to protect its domestic market

China does not even need tariffs to protect its domestic market. Who else can make things cheaper than China? China has cheap energy from Russia (thanks to USA and EU sanctions on Russian energy), skilled and well-educated work force (thanks partly to the USA Government harassing Chinese scientists, engineers and students by forcing them to return and contribute to China's development instead, rather than finishing their education and staying in the USA to be targeted for harassment) and a potential growing Global South that is positive in its thinking about co-operating with China, knowing they are betting on the right horse (thanks again to the USA creating more and more enemies who are now clamoring to join BRICS and taking part in de-dollarization. More thanks to the USA for imposing sanctions at its whims and fancies on countries that do not toe the line, that makes them ask 'Who is next?)'

I almost fell off my chair reading the headline on Channel News America that India has come out to announce that de-dollarization is not the objective of BRICS. Who is India speaking on behalf of? Obviously not for BRICS, which was created solely for the purpose of providing an alternative for countries to move away from the US$ hegemony. We know India is not interested in moving away from the US$, knowing its rupee is shunned by every country, even Russia. India has to rely on the US$ for conducting trade and is obviously speaking for itself, and certainly not for BRICS's interest.
