Irresponsible Japan continues to dump toxic nuclear waste water into the ocean

Kishida is now cracking his head over the Chinese ban on Japanese seafood. Japan is deep freezing its unsold seafood, but for what purpose, and is it feasible with more being added every day. Just like those contaminated wastewater collected in drums, a time will come when it becomes unfeasible to continue doing it.

Moreover, the second release of the Fukishima contaminated nuclear wastewater is due in early October, and as the seafood catch gets relatively more contaminated, who are they hoping to sell them to? Remember that such release is being calibrated to extend to decades, so the problem is going to get worse and not better in the long run.

As more such wastewater are released, the more dangerous those seafood becomes. Kishida is having a big headache now, so he has no time to do any more barking. He can complain to the WTO, but if Chinese citizens boycott Japanese seafood totally, what is the WTO going to do?

Kishida is in even more deep trouble with the Yen touching the 150 to a US$ threshold. That is a new record on the way. When Japan was the global kingpin exporter in consumer products and an export oriented economy, a low Yen benefits its export oriented manufacturers. Now, it is competing against the South Koreans and Chinese manufacturers, with its vehicle export domination now on the decline. Moreover, in terms of pricing Japan, will never be able to compete successfully. The low Yen therefore brings little benefit to Japan.

While Japanese companies can shift production of their products to cheaper destinations, so can the South Koreans and Chinese. In the end, it is still back to square one for them.

Congratulations to China on its 74th National Day, today, Sunday, 1ST October, 2023

Today, Sunday, 1st October, 2023 China celebrates its 74th National Day with pomp, pride and dignity. This glorious day came about through the blood and sweat and sacrifice of all Chinese people who finally defeated and threw out of China the Western imperialists, US and Japan after over a hundred years of their aggression and invasion of China which reduced China to a semi-colonial state.

On this National Day throughout the length and breadth of China, the Chinese people of 56 ethnic groups led by the Hans will celebrate with pomp and vibrancy and with tremendous joy and happiness. Enhancing this great joy of the National Day is the added vibrancy of the Mid-Autumn Moon Cake Festival where many varied colourful and cultural festive activities are organized throughout the nation for the people to really let go and enjoy themselves to the fullest with the blessing, help and support of the government of the People''s Republic of China led by the Chinese Communist Party with President Xi Jinping at the core.

It is important to know that just as the National Day on every 1st October is to commemorate the birth of modern China , the PRC, after the defeat and driven out of Western imperialists and Japan, the Mid-Autumn Moon Cake Festival is to commemorate the defeat and overthrown of the Mongol invaders in the year 1368 and the establishment of the pure Chinese Dynasty, the Ming Dynasty. Thus the celebration of the Mid-Autumn Moon Cake Festival is to commemorate the emancipation of China and the Chinese people from the yoke of Mongol rule and tyranny.

It takes China several decades of grit and gumption and sheer determination first to drive out the foreign imperialist invaders and then through tremendous sacrifice and hard work to forge the country into a solidly unified strong and mighty wealthy nation. The rejuvenation of China is the envy of the world in which the diabolical Western countries, the United States and Japan look at it with jaundiced eyes whereas most of the south ex-colonial developing countries hope to emulate China's social path and governance to develop their countries into strong and unified wealthy states which can resist strongly the attempts of the return of imperial West in trying to recolonize them through hybrid neo-colonialism.

In the success of building a strong and wealthy nation the Chinese people have never forgotten the importance and the need of recreation to enjoy a meaningful life through a tradition of national festivals and festivities, national culture of music and dance, sports, martial arts and exercise, operas and dramas, poetry and songs, holidays and vacations. During the long holidays of the Spring Festival and the National Day, hundreds of millions of Chinese will relish and enjoy travelling all over the country to holiday resorts and scenic places as well as to go to distant places overseas. It is also a time and period for millions of Chinese to return to their home towns and villages to visit parents and relatives and friends in a show of filial piety to parents and social camaraderie among friends and relatives. This vibrant feature of celebrating the Spring Festival or Chinese New Year and National Day holidays is specially unique to China and the Chinese people and cannot be found any other where in the world.. During these long holidays life and society is full of vibrancy and joy and happiness and happy and smiling faces can be seen everywhere throughout China in the towns and cities and villages.

There are in fact momentous positive economic ramifications from the celebrations of all Chinese festivals, from the Spring Festival or Chinese New Year and the National Day celebrations to other festiivals like the Dumpling Festival, the Mid-Autumn Moon Cake Festival, the Winter Solstice Festival and several other local and ethnic festivals which are celebrated quite widely like the Water Festival of Yunnan, Quizhou and Kwangxi province. All these festival activities like wearing of new apparels, new clothes and shoes, preparing endless specialities of food and goodies and mass travelling by the millions to far and wide across the country have generated tremendous amount of economic activities to enhance the general wealth and well being of the country and thus providing benefits generally to the country and people.

Below is reproduced some quotations from the Editorial of Global Times to high light the celebrations of the Chinese festivals like the National Day holidays, the Spring Festivals, the Mid-Autumn Festival and others and their significance.

"The "Super Golden Week," which combines the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day holidays, officially begins, as rail transportation of the holiday started on Wednesday. Before this, the festive atmosphere of the two combined holidays had been fully "preheated" in all parts of the country. On social media and in daily life, the destination of the holidays has become a hot topic of discussion and even greeting words among acquaintances during these days. Anyone who is in Chinese society, or who has crossed paths with it, can easily feel the Chinese people's eagerness and anticipation of this long vacation have formed a heat."

The heat shows China domestic tourism is in full bloom and millions are travelling to favourite destinations like Hangzhou, Changsha, Xian, Urumchi, Lhasa, Yunnan, Szechuan, Beijing and Shanghai. Chinese outmount tourists are also going abroad by the millions. Besides tourism young people in the country are taking to attending concerts, music festivals and visiting scenic rural countrysides. All these activities reflect the improvement of Chinese people's quality of life and Chinese society's strong desire to pursue a better life which is one of the most important sources of China's strong economic resilience.

Some more quotations:

"From holidays, such as the National Day and the Spring Festival, we can see the most authentic way of life and philosophy of the Chinese people: They aspire to lead good lives, advocate goodwill toward others, and have no interest in interfering with others' lives or being confrontational. This forms solid public support for China's path of peaceful development. Everything China does is aimed at providing a better life for its people and development opportunities for people worldwide."

"During the upcoming holidays that are about reunion and gathering, most Chinese people can temporarily set aside their demanding work and fully enjoy the relaxation of the holidays. This in itself showcases and accumulates the momentum for Chinese society to move forward."

There is a wonderful feeling of pride and happiness that many countries in the world are joining the Chinese to partake in the celebration of both the Chinese National Day and the Mid-Autumn Moon Cake Festival. Only the inherently evil and pathetic United States and its Western diabolical allies are looking at Chinese National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations with askance. China and the Chinese people must be wary of them but just move forward from strength to strength in solidarty with the countries of the south.

Southernglory1 and the socialist countries of Africa, Asia and Latin America wish China happy celebrations for her National Day and her Mid-Autumn Festival.

Long live the People's Republic of China and the BRICS countries.

USA preempting India from becoming another China

It is very real that the USA is orchestrating a regime change in India. The USA is not waiting for India to rise like China and is nipping India's ambition in the bud.

China had never announced openly that it was seeking superpower domination, a narrative that the USA itself expounded unilaterally and provocatively. India on the other hand is shouting from the rooftop like a superpower, already touting its intention to be one, when it is still far away from the finishing line. That probably rattles the neo-Cons in the USA establishment.

But it certainly gives the USA advanced warning of what is to come from India. and the USA is not just standing idly by watching India's performance. The USA is undoubtedly alarmed under the surface, although putting on a calm demeanor outwardly all along, until now.

India needs to look closely at where its interest lie, and what should its best interest be aligned and with who.

PS. With one China it is enough to put the US dominance in tatters. If India were to rise and become another China, the US hegemony and dominance would just fade away. The combination of the two would completely cancel out the USA. So they must stop India now before it is too late.

From PMETs to gig workers. Soon they would not be able to pay water bills

Decades ago, they shud have attract Chinese manufacturing industries into Singapore.

Even though may be lower high tech industries, yet able to employ hundreds if not thousands of our own locals.

Gainfully employed. Rather than now quite a lot doing what's platform menial worker jobs of 3rd world usual type of delivery and common logistics jobs of delivery of parcels and food etc.

PHD as Public Hired Drivers.

When our MRT system started decades ago, they shud cajoled and persuaded our young to go into learning and maintenance of all these systems.

Build up a core of skilled technical technicians and engineers.

Instead of spending on so much funds on outside contractors even in just maintaining the systems.

Possible in time to come even able to build or maintain for others.

But they thought that our present economy is good enough and goes Auto pilot with no future plans.

Only main thought off is the Revenue in building more BTO flats and then boost the POP to purchase them also in numbers to utilise our Transport Systems to make them viable.

Just internal economy. But you must also have enough good paying jobs for our own to be able to buy your Flats and private housings.

You expect those menial gig gig workers on free lance and part time and no time to have the resources to buy them?

Only to have the rich foreigners to be citizens and buy them?

Diluting our Locals Setup and Make Up?

In the 60s after Separation, then GKS and his cohorts in a way in conjunction with all relevant Ministries had worked in unison for the then Economy.

They encouraged the Singaporeans into technical and production engineering education and be Production Engineers and other so called blue collared workers with their attraction of influx of many manufacturing industries.

Oil refineries and products manufacturing

Many of my generation as production engineers and technicians could even able to have many assets of big HDB flats and even Condos and Landed.

Most had drove before in affordable cars and other vehicles.

Unlike today only on bicycles.

Think too late too little liao to kick start now their awakening.

Must have reserve lands for our production of Essential survival rations instead of just kept acquiring them for monies making BTO flats.

Land sales of high taxations in every corner of Singapore with non stop build ups.

That's their best plans of Revenue earnings and GST taxes.

MOT sell until all no more but they be not around to see the next generations of poors.

China losing patience with conceited India

By failing to turn up for the G20 summit, Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a clear signal that China has little enthusiasm for stabilising relations with India, say researchers from a New Delhi think tank.

NEW DELHI: When it became clear that China’s President Xi Jinping had decided to skip the Group of 20 summit in Delhi this week, it was the final blow to the opportunity that the forum presented to restore “normalcy” in India-China relations.

In the three years since border tensions have flared up between the neighbours, a protracted military standoff has become the defining thorn in bilateral relations. Consequently, the trust deficit between the two countries has steadily increased to levels perhaps last seen during the 1962 border war.  CNA

China has been negotiating with the Indians on the border issues for nearly a century, from the time of Nehru till now but with no results. There were several times when China was willing to concede most of the land under dispute to India but as a Chinese initiative, given away by China, not as carved away by the British during the peak of British Colonialism. Chinese land can only be given away by China diplomatically, not as decided by foreign powers, not by two white men from England taking their pens to draw the lines on a map saying which belonged to the British Empire and which belonged to China. Accepting the lines drawn by the British Empire is like accepting Colonialism and might is right.

China was willing to do a bit of horse trading with India to settle the dispute and has been very courteous and patience with the Indians. Unfortunately, the highly conceited and cocky Indians would not move an inch. Whatever the British carved out from China belongs to India and not negotiable. China has given enough time to persuade the Indians to settle the dispute amicably but to no avail. The Indians take the Chinese willingness to compromise as a sign of weakness and have hardened their position.

China has had enough of the Indians and would henceforth take a firm stand in its claim of the Chinese land stolen by the Brits. Not an inch would be conceded to the Indians. Period. The new map issued by China is the latest and clearest position and statement by the Chinese. They are telling the Indians not to have wet dreams that they can claim Chinese land by being stubborn and recalcitrant. They would have to face the full might of the PLA if they dare. More forces have been deployed to the border region with India and this would be the situation going forward.

China could easily take back all the lands if it intends to by force but would like to settle the dispute amicably and diplomatically. For the movement the status quo shall remain unless the drunken Indians dare to push for a fight. No more graces to be given to the Indians, no more generosity to appease the highly strung Indians.
