Singapore elected a new President in Tharman Shanmugaratnam

SINGAPORE: Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam will be Singapore's next President after securing a landslide victory with 70.4 per cent of the vote.

The final result, announced by the returning officer shortly after midnight on Saturday (Sep 2), put Mr Ng Kok Song in second place with 15.72 per cent, followed by Mr Tan Kin Lian, who received 13.88 per cent....

The figures were largely unchanged from an earlier sample count, which had the three men at 70 per cent, 16 per cent and 14 per cent respectively.   CNA

The convincing victory by Tharman indeed surprised everyone. They could expect a Tharman win but not this kind of margin in a Chinese majority state. The result only shows that Singaporeans are blind to racial differences and voting on the basis of merit, that a better man wins.

Another surprising feature of this election is that the sample count is as good as the final result. In future elections, the sample count can be taken as the final result as the variation is just marginal. This vindicates the usefulness and accuracy of a sample count. This may be a Singapore phenomenon.

Congratulations to Tharman as the new president, and likely the next president, and the next president in the next two elections. He could break the record of Nathan's two term as president.

Clevery's visit - China's stupidity and naivety still irreparable

British Foreign Minister Clevery visited China and boasted that he not only raised the issue of human rights but also talked about Tibet, Hong Kong and Taiwan. And stupid Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi could lamely reply that these were Chinese internal affairs and not to be discussed. What the heck were the Chinese leaders thinking and behaving? Is China a small little third world country that even a bankrupt and has been state like Britain could invite itself to Beijing to lecture the Chinese? No wonder silly countries like South Korea, Japan, the Philippines and Vietnam feel very safe to irritate and provoke China.

If China continues to behave like a meek useless state and be abused by any little states, even in Beijing, it will soon lose credibility as a superpower and even Asean, Africa and the Arab world would distance themselves from China. China would look like a lame duck in the eyes of the world and would embolden every little country to throw mud at China.

China, please wake up and behave like a super power. Does China know why the Indians are so cocky and aggressive, and demanding that the lines drawn by two Brits in the middle of the 20th Century were important enough for the Indians to claim Chinese lands? This is a world where might is right. If China continues to behave weakly in the face of provocation and aggression, it will invite more provocation and aggression, just like in WW2 when Japan thought it fit to invade and wanted to colonise China.

Stop behaving like a lame duck and let small countries bully when and wherever they deem fit. Stand up China, or you will lose the respect from countries of the world that are hoping that a strong China can be depended on in their fight for freedom and be free from American hegemony and western oppression and exploitation. No matter how well behave China is, how peaceful and non violence, non aggressive, the Americans and their cronies would continue to call China aggressive and expansionist and will continue to smear and demonise China.

Stand up China, to be recognised and be respected as a super power and stop being belittled and be pushed around. Stop and kick out any country that dare to come to China to talk about human rights or interfere in China's domestic affairs. These should not be in their agenda when talking to China. Once they dare to open their mouth on such issues, the meeting must stop and show them the door. Warmongers, bullies and irritants must be dealt with forcefully or they would not understand and take politeness and civility as weakness. They must know that these matters are none of their business and are taboo in China. These are red lines not to be crossed.

China's foreign policy must change to adapt to the realities of a hostile world. Being meek and weak are invitation for aggression. stop believing and practicing idiotic foreign policies of meekness and niceties to savages, terrorists and snakes.

How silly China and Wang Yi looked to the world when a rude Brit minister could lecture China about China's domestic affairs in Beijing and still bragging about it to the rest of the world? And Wang Yi had to take it and dare not feel offended about it? When would China learn and grow up? When visitors are rude, they must be treated rudely.

More and more Americans, Brits and European leaders would invite themselves to Beijing to be rude to the Chinese leaders if China is afraid to put a stop to it. India may be a third world pretentious power but no one dares to humiliate India in New Delhi. Can the Chinese leader learn something from the Indians?

PS. China, why invite rogues home to lecture you in your living room? Are you that stupid? The little monkies will keep coming unless they know China will kick them out.

Japan in decline - nothing left for the Japanese, not even seafood

Japan is taking China to the WTO over the banning of import of seafood from Japan. As I said earlier, China's ban is a matter of survival for Japan's seafood industry. The reality is setting in.

Even if Japan were to succeed to open up the China market again to Japanese seafood, what is there to prevent Chinese citzens throughout the country from to boycotting the seafood from Japan? What can the WTO do? China could easily get its seafood from Russia, which the Russians are doing so now and happily taking over the market. And once that happens, it is more like 'Sayonara' sushi.

Japan is in inextricable decline even without the Fukushima seafood contamination issue. Japan's rise was largely attributed to the global demand for their Internal Combustion Engine vehicles for decades, and their consumer electronics hold over the years. Today, Japanese car makers are no longer monopolising the car market worldwide for Internal Combustion Engine vehicles, as they were relatively slow to migrate to EVs, and its electronics sector has now been cannibalised by South Korea and also China.

I would not say that Japan's adoption of EV production were slow, but it was due to its outright intention to avoid EVs, out of fear of being too dependent on China for certain raw materials for electric vehicles. Japan therefore opt not to go into EV. Instead they opted for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, with Toyota and Honda the main propagators swaying the direction, and totally resistant to changes. Other Japanese car makers had more interest in EVs, but unable to carry the ground as these two main Japanese car makers have a strong hold on the Government and lobbying groups.

The problem with hydrogen fuel cells is that even if the Japanese managed to succeed domestically by installing fuel cell points in Japan, which is today even massively inadequate to cope, people in other countries are not going to buy such vehicles that needs massive investments in setting up fuel cell top up points countrywide, apart from safety concerns like electric shocks and inflammality of Hydrogen. Compared to EVs, with power lines already linking every nook and corner, this is a very inconvenient factor.

PS. With the contamination of the ocean by the Japanese, Japan just bury itself eternally. The contamination would not disappear for ages.

Fake independence and French controlled fake democracies in Africa

6 min clip on French arrogance in its African colonies. Macron said these states would not be around if the French soldiers left their land. The Africans are fuming at the French arrogance. The Africans want the white men to leave their land. The American and French soldiers are still in African under the pretext of fighting terrorism, against terrorist groups that they created and armed. And they still think the Africans are stupid.

Below post is by Virgo.

All these Parasites Elites in powers had to con the dafts for their status quos to hold powers and their luxurious lifestyles.

Which ones really served the Peoples?

That's why they so afraid that they had to tar and propgrate that Russia, China and others forms of governments are dictatorial and even Miltary Rules as Dictators.

Now glaring comparisons of the Western BS Drmocrazies as to China's and Russia's Good Governance that they had to keep harping them as Dictators.

The Western Crazies Leaders don't really gave a damn to their Peoples that they were supposed to take care or them and voted for them.

See UASSA Bidamn even don't give a hoot to the burning and dying Mauis.

Now just wayang visit as no choice been condemned and greeted with FARKs signs and shifts from them.

Philippines Macros Jr came to SinkiesLAND F1 last year when hid own country is hit by typhoons and disasters.

The Saying you gets the Government you deserved for voting them is very apt.

Below a video of President Xi of China visiting the Rural Poors, now no more poors of China.

Also his life living and farming with them when he was younger.

See which President do thus!

They will said propaganda lah.

African states still fighting for independence from the white men

The USA and the West profess to be against dictatorial rule in any country, but under the surface they are deviously supporting those Dictators in many countries in Africa. This is an open secret that everyone knows. But Africans themselves are now waking up and know that changes are needed, and the lure of progress is too great to miss. This is their only chance as exploited countries of the Global South, while the momentum rising with BRICS is running in their favour.

If dictators do not follow the dictates of the USA and share their country's resources with the USA and the West, they are deemed evil and bad, and must be taken down and a stooge installed instead. However, if deposed dictators like those in Niger and Gabon in Africa follow the USA and Western countries' dictate, and allow the USA and the West to exploit the country's resources freely, they are deemed to be deserving of support. Support in this context means propping up the dictatorial rule, that benefits the Coloniser and installed stooge President, but not helping the country as a whole. The intention is to keep that country perennially poor and easy to control and exploit.

Exploiting the country without giving anything back in return is what is causing all the anger and resulting in those coups. The reality is that Africans are opening their eyes, seeing neighbours progressing and developing with infrastructures like ports, airports, roads and rails, by working with China. Co-operating with China also benefits both countries in a win win situation, with joint ventures to run the extraction of resources and sharing the fruits of their co-operation, as opposed to the wholesale exploitation and sharing of part of the proceeds with stooge dictators, without doing much for the country. That is why the 'debt trap' fabrication comes into play to sabotage the BRI, which is at the forefront of the eradication of poverty.

Niger is giving France the ultimatum to leave the country by September 3, with the ousted President begging the USA and France to help restore his rule. The ousted Gabon President is also appealing to the USA and France for help. It shows that these two are beholden to the USA and the West and owed their stooge Presidency to the two evil colonisers.

Africa is throwing itself off from the shackles of colonial rule forever, and a united Africa of 1.4 billion people is not an easy prey to take down. This is not the old days of a one sided conflict of guns vs spears and arrows. Moreover, Russia and China are there to provide support and protect their interest as well. Further, countries like South Africa are perfectly capable of taking care of itself and no pushover in weaponry. An African uprising is not to be scoffed at, reading history and watching movies like 'Black Hawk Down'.

Should the USA or France decide to interfere in Niger or Gabon, plunging Africa into war, they have to think of what they are facing. The evacuation of their troops and nationals from rooftops in Vietnam is not what they would like to face for sure. Even Afghanistan gave them a hard lesson in defeat, having to leave behind US$ billions in weaponry, which the Afghans have restored some to usefulness. To them it may just be inconsequential and just running the printing presses will take care of that.
