Yellen visit - Too late, no more visit for Biden

Some are saying that besides pleading for help from China economically, Yellen is there to clean up the shit spilt by Biden calling Xi a 'dictator'. For Asians, this is serious spite. Xi is not like Biden, dementia tainted and easily forgets what he heard. Asians have long memories. That is why Japan is so worried about its past atrocities.

It takes more than Janet Yellen to calm the Chinese side. Joe Biden is waiting for an invite from Xi that will never come, so his visit to calm the Chinese is never going to happen. Yellen was already in China earlier in June, before the 'dictator' scorn, and it would take a miracle this time around to pacify the Chinses side.

Remember, after being called a 'pariah', Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, would not forgive Biden for the slight, nor forgive Biden despite all his efforts to mend the fence even by visiting Saudi Arabia himself, to no avail, and even getting treated unlavishly. To add insult to injury, the Saudis gave Xi a red carpet welcome later, with jets flypast and a guard of honour reception. It was to be a slap on the face of Biden to show the world.

The USA can do what it likes with the European leaders, even to the extent of asking them to destroy their own economies, and they will still bend over backwards to accomodate the wishes of the USA. German Foreign Minister, Angelina Baerbock, even had the gall to say that helping Ukraine is even more important than helping her own German people. And the German people still take all that shit lying down.

And Mohammed bin Salman is still deeply hurt. He is now increasing oil prices again to compensate for the cuts in production recently. And OPEC+ is solidly behind him. This is not good for the USA inflation. And is even worse for the Europeans.

Singapore's demography - past to present

Shanmugam was quoted in the media as saying that Singapore needs to maintain the racial balance for the three major ethnic groups because the Malays had made their position known, that they would not want their position as the second largest ethnic group to be changed and become the third or lesser minority. For this, the govt has agreed to keep the three major ethnic groups' percentages as somewhat constant with Chinese at 75%, Malay 15%, Indian 8% and the balance as others. There could some some small changes but not be enough to be significant to this balance.

The Malay community is very concerned with the influx of Chinese and Indians and others but relatively very few inbound Malay stock new citizens. For the moment the Malay community are taking the changing demography cautiously, very tentative and watching how the picture is changing. The govt has promised not to change their status. This has been so according to official govt statistics on the citizenship of Singapore.

Not sure if the balance is still the same if PRs are included in the calculation. In the 2021 statistics in Wikipedia, Singapore's population was 5.54m of which 3.5m were citizens, 0.5m were PRs and 1.5m were non residents. Assuming 15% of 3.5m citizens were Malays, there would be 525,000 Malay citizens.

If 0.5m PRs, assuming none were Malays, or minimal, then the percentage of Malays would be 525,000/4,000,000 = 13% if PRs are included in the computation.

Assuming that 1.48m non residents were not Malays, then the percentage of Malays in the total population, ie citizens, locals and non residents, would be 525,000/5,450,000 = 9.6%.

The govt has kept to its promise that the Malays would be the second largest ethnic group among the citizens. The non residents and PRs aka locals, are not citizens and thus did not affect the Malays as the second largest ethnic group of citizens in the island.

The official demography of Singapore's citizen population thus remains the same since 1965, with very little changes despite the presence of many non Malay non residents and PRs. There may be many foreigners present in public places and trains, many are not citizens, just happened to be here temporary.

PS. The maximum variation could be Indians 14% and Chinese 69%, with Indians gaining at the expense of Chinese but not crossing the 15% mark, to keep the Malays as the second largest ethnic group...theoretically.

All indications points to China not about to buy more US treasuries

Firstly, BRICS is doing all it can to break the hold of the US$ hegemony. Why would China still want to help hold up the US$? In 2008, China had no beef with the US$ on issues, and did provide help by buying USA Treasuries of some magnitude. Fifteen years later, the situation is different, with all the BRICS countries now coming together for a specific purpose - to de-dollarise. China will not disappoint them, particularly Russia.

Secondly, with all the provocations, fabrications and accusations thrown at China over the last couple of years and getting more serious, would it be in China's best interest to be helping the USA? Knowing that helping them also means enabling the USA to continue to use its US$ hegemony to print fiat money at will, in order to keep increasing its spending on its military, that is being used to threaten and confront China?

Thirdly, apart from a trade war still ongoing, there is now a technology war of sanctions against China as well, and China is starting to push back against those sanctions and prioritising self sufficiency in all essential needs. China has sanctioned USA companies like Micron, banning certain technology outflow for national security reasons, tightening its exports of rare earth elements, dumping of USA Treasuries as well and backing Huawei's collection of royalties from USA companies making use of Huawei patents it holds in communication, a step that Huawei has never taken before.

Finally, China need not have to hold more US$ Treasuries going forward, since it has the added alternative of buying more gold instead, for a more safer investment strategy. With de-dollarisation getting more widespread, and more deals being done outside of the US$, China also does not need to hold too much US$ as a reserve, the same with all other countries now making deals outside of the US$.

The sensible thinking is that China would be unwise to continue to hold more treasuries in an effort to help the USA, since that help in 2008 has not been reciprocated, but instead turned against China. The big question is why should China want to help this time around?

Pariah Japan to dump contaminated radio active waste onto Pacific Ocean

The stupid Japs think that by sitting with the Whites in the G7 makes them white. They are being used as cannon folder over Taiwan. Just like the Europeans being used as cannon folder by the USA against Russia.

The Japs are already the 'pariah' among Asians, having taken the side of the Whites, the Germans and Italians during WW2, calling themselves the 'Axis' alliance against all others, including all Asian countries. The atrocities they committed will never ever be forgotten.

By the way, why are White Anglo Saxon countrie not making a big issue over the intended dumping of Fukushima nuclear waste water into the Pacific? In reality, the Japs could already be doing it discreetly, knowing that they already found contamination on the Western coast of the North American Continent. But they kept all this behind wraps and not trying to alarm the USA citizens.

Only Asian countries, like China and South Korea are taking up the issue over the dumping of Fukushima waste water into the Pacific, millions of tons of it. Had China done the same thing by dumping nuclear waste water into the Pacific, the Anglo Saxon Whites would by now be having hysteria and barking day and night like rabid dogs, over human rights and evironmental disaster. You can clearly see who is controlling the IAEA and giving the Japs the benefit of all the doubts.

Similarly, the USA is slowly being abandoned and becoming a 'pariah' in Africa, Middle East, Latin and Central America, including Central Asia. The do not welcome the 'pariah' in their country.

China collapsing? USA doing fine? Why Yellen needs to visit China?

The MSM is still trying to portray the USA economy as doing well, while denigrating the Chinese economy as heading for a collapse. All that rosy stuff about the US stock market and banking system has been fueled by the money printing frenzy, benefiting the top 1% of USA society, with little trickling down to the rest of the country.

If the USA is indeed doing so well and with China falling apart, why is Janet Yellen and top business leaders warning that the USA cannot decouple from a perceived fracturing China? Why not just let China fall, which is their main objective, right? Micron is still investing US$600 million to upgrade its facilites in China, despite being sanctioned. Isn't it a waste? Why did Elon Musk and Bill Gates still find it benefitial to head to China, when the collapse of China is imminent? It does not make sense, right?

Since China is deemed to be collapsing, would it not be logical to decouple as fast as possible, in order to avoid the carnage? Why is Janet Yellen wasting time going to China to talk about repairing and improving ties that serves little purpose with a collapsing China, when the USA is in reality so keen to make China fall to pieces? Does it make sense?

Looking at the reality, if the USA is doing so well economically, and China doing so badly as claimed, why is Yellen still pleading with China not to sell US Treasuries and even asking China for help to buy even more? How could that be logical? When one country is doing so badly economically, would a country doing so well need to ask for help from a failing country? Moreover, according to global studies, China's GDP growth is expected at 4.5%, while the USA is at 1.8% for 2023. Who is doing better than who?

Oh, just in passing, does the discovery of cocaine in the visitors area of the White House has anything to do with the 'highs' in the thinking of those in the White House itself and visiting Journalist? Of all places, cocaine inside the White House is real madness! Maybe drug addict Hector Biden has something to do with it. Hmmmm.....interesting!
