Foreigners in Singapore have turned from being welcome to being cursed and hated

"Work pass holders help expand our economy and create more opportunities for us. When we complement our own workforce with skills from around the world, more companies will invest here, and this then creates more jobs for Singaporeans. This is a virtuous cycle," he said.

However, when there is a large number of work pass holders, people "naturally become worried" about competition for jobs, with uncertainties of COVID-19 worsening such anxieties.

"Work pass holders reinforce the team, but may also compete directly with their local colleagues. Sometimes the locals feel unfairly treated, for instance when they miss out on being hired or promoted," said Mr Lee. CNA

This motherhood statement that we need foreigners to create more jobs for Singaporeans and to complement our own workforce has been flogged for so many years that the poor horse had been dated but the floggers still did not know they are flogging a dead horse.

The huge presence of foreigners working here versus the huge numbers of Singaporeans being sacked, retired, jobless, underemployed, are all out there that only the blind refused to see. And many still think they could continue to lie to the daft Singaporeans and getting away with it. The Singaporeans are damned and the anger is surfacing in every corner of the island. Xenophobia or racism?  The govt can continue to ignore the cries of the desperate Singaporeans and keep blaring this motherhood statement day in and day out. No Singaporean is going to believe in this sick joke. Even the PAP supporters do not believe in it anymore. There are too much pain and suffering because of this sick statement.

The foreigners are here not to create jobs but to take our jobs. Get it? The foreigners are here not to complement Singaporean workforce but making Singaporeans complement them while they took away the plum jobs.

Still want to look for evidence to prove otherwise? Just go and visit Chennai Business Park or Mumbai Financial Centre. Get off your ass and walk around to see with your own eyes and stop pretending that all is fine.

Enough said. No point wasting time and breath on people that refused to see their crimes against Singaporeans. Have they not done enough harm to Singaporeans and their families? Have they not heard the cursing and swearing at them? Increasing you are hearing Singaporeans angrily saying what is there to celebrate in National Day. This is how sad this country has become for Singaporeans.

Singaporeans are not against openess. Singaporeans are against the shameful open legs policy, worse than being prostitutes. Prostitutes also have some restraints and self respect.

Singaporeans do not need the upskilling shit to turn PMETs into Grab drivers and senior cleaners or cleaning supervisors. These are the greatest insults to our graduates from our world class universities.

China MUST Change The Strategy of 2nd Strike to 1st Strike

The strategy of second strike requires more nuclear weapons than necessary. The enemy's first strike would have taken out many of China's nucler weapons and nuclear sites. Whatever nuclear weapons that are still intact, after the enemy's first strike, can then be used. How many that will be left no one can predict.

The second strike capability is based on the presumption that there will be sufficient nuclear weapons left, after the enemy has launched a surprise nuclear attack, for China to retaliate. This is like a small boy playing hero.

If I were the Commander of the US Strategic Nuclear Command, I would make sure I throw everything I have at China to destroy China's capability to launch her second strike.

Moreover, the second strike strategy means that there will be millions of innocent Chinese people killed unnecessarily before China could even respond. This is stupidity.

You only go for second strike if you are much stronger than the opponent. You must be able to take the first punch. Like in any street fight, if you are weaker than your opponent, and you allow the stronger and bigger opponent to strike you first, his first blow would most probably kill you.

China must not hesitate to deliver the first strike.

Most successful wars had the element of surprise. The first who strike has the surprise. The one who strike second has been caught by surprise.

It the first strike KO the opponent, the opponent won't even have the chance to make that second strike.

Therefore, in a deadly nuclear war, there should be no hesitation. Hesitation is a strategic weakness that will pay dearly. There is no room for such weakness. To deliberately cater for such a weakness to exist in a nuclear war is to lose the war without fighting. This is not strategy. This is sheer stupidity. No general worth his salt can be so stupid.

COVID-19 Singapore: MOH Playing Cat And Mouse Game With The Coronavirus?

On 16 May 2021, Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) imposed a tighter restrictions on travellers from Taiwan because of the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases there.

Over and above serving a 14-day Stay-Homlme-Notice (SHN) at a dedicated facility, travellers from Taiwan were also required to serve an additional 7-day SHN at their place of residence. Short-term travellers with Air Travel Passes were also not allowed to enter Singapore if they’d been to Taiwan in the previous 21 days. Non-Singaporeans and permanent residents had to obtain a negative PCR test within 72 hours before departure for Singapore.

On 23 June 2021, MOH announced that travellers from Taiwan can choose to serve their SHN in their homes rather than at dedicated facilities.

Currently, travellers from Taiwan must undergo an on-arrival COVID-19 PCR test, a 14-day SHN at a dedicated facility or place of residence, and a PCR test before the end of their SHN.

On 5 Aug 2021, MOH announced that from 7 Aug 2021 Saturday onwards, all travellers arriving in Singapore with travel history to Taiwan within the last 21 days before departure must take a PCR test on arrival in Singapore. If their test result is negative, they will be permitted to go on with whatever activities freely in Singapore as if they are not slient carriers of the Tyrannical Delta Variant of COVID-19. This is how MOH is managing the risk of transmission to the Singapore community.

“As the global situation evolves, we will continue to adjust our border measures to manage the risk of importation and transmission to the community,” MOH said.

This open-shut, cat and mouse game with the coronavirus seems to be the the game MOH is playing over the last one and half years. This is called leaders with hindsight, not foresight or vision - a new breed of millionair leadersheep.

Discrimination against Chinese vaccines continues with so many funny rules. Why go to such an extent to confuse the people?

What is the funny reasons behind all these funny rules?

Why don't do the simple rule that all vaccines approved by WHO for 'emergency use nly' be treated equally and same doing funny things and nonsense that only confused everyone?

Would all the other vaccines approved by WHO would also be made available free to all citizens under the national emergency use scheme?

Delta Variant Spreading Across The World Like Wildfire - Part 2: USA

The latest wave (5th wave?) of US COVID-19 outbreak now averages more than 100,000 new confirmed daily infections in one day. This milestone was reached on Saturday, 7 August 2021.

This high record is mainly driven by the highly transmissible, dangerous and deadly Delta Variant and low vaccination rates in the Southern States.

Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee represent 41% of the whole of US's new infections and hospitalizations.

Health officials fear that severe and critical cases requiring hospitalizations and the number of deaths will continue to soar if many Americans continue not to heed the calls to embrace the mRNA vaccines.

Nationwide, 50% of US residents have been fully vaccinated and more than 70% of adults have received the first jab.

Director CDC Rochelle Walensky said this week. "Our models show that if we don’t vaccinate, we could be up to several hundred thousand cases a day, similar to our surge in early January."

It took the US 9 months to cross 100,000 average daily cases in November last year, during the Presidential Election period. From there it went steadily up, before peaking at about 250,000 cases a day in early January 2021. The infection figures bottomed out in early June, averaging about 11,000 cases per day. But when the Delta Variant hit in July the number soar to 107,143.

Hospitalizations and deaths are also increasing. More than 45,000 Americans are now hospitalized with COVID-19. According to the CDC, it jumped 30% in a week and nearly four times the number in June.

The seven-day average for deaths rose from about 270 deaths per day two weeks ago to nearly 500 a day as of Friday, according to Johns Hopkins University.

Deaths peaked at 3,500 per day in January. Deaths usually lag behind hospitalizations as the disease normally takes a few weeks to kill.

The situation is particularly dire in the South, which has some of the lowest vaccination rates in the US and has seen hospitals overwhelmed with patients.

In the Southeast, the number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients jumped 50% to a daily average of 17,600 over the last week from 11,600 the previous week.

Alabama and Mississippi have the lowest vaccination rates in the country: less than 35% of residents are fully inoculated, according to the Mayo Clinic. Georgia, Tennessee and the Carolinas are all in the lowest 15 states.

Florida makes up more than 20% of the nation's new cases and hospitalizations, triple its share of the population. Many rural counties have vaccination rates below 40%, with the state at 49%. The state again set a record Saturday, reporting 23,903 new cases.

In some parts of the US hospitals are scrambling to find beds for patients.

Dr. Leonardo Alonso, who works in several emergency rooms in Jacksonville, one of Florida's hardest-hit areas, said some hospitals are sending some COVID-19 patients home with oxygen and a monitor to free beds for sicker people.

"The ICUs, the hospitals are all on a near what we call mass casualty incident. They’re almost at protocols where they’re overflowing," Alonso said.

In Texas, some Houston patients were transferred out of the city — one as far as North Dakota.

The Chief Medical Officer of Houston, Dr David Persse said that some ambulances were waiting for hours to off-load patients at Houston Area hospitals because no beds were available and he feared "this would lead to prolonged respond times to 911 medical calls."

"The health care system right now is nearly at a breaking point. ... For the next three weeks or so, I see no relief on what’s happening in emergency departments!" Dr Persse said on Thursday.

"FULLY VACCINATED SHOULD KEEP MASKING UP AS EXPERTS PROBE BOOSTER SHOTS!"
