Covid19 - Vaccine discrimination

 WHO has approved Sinopharm and Sinovac vaccines for emergency use. Both vaccines have been used by about 100 countries world wide and likely to be the most used vaccines in the world. Many heads of states have also been vaccinated using Chinese vaccines with no side effects while there have been many reports of side effects of mRNA vaccines including dangerous blood clotting and deaths.

Singapore was one of the earliest country that took delivery of 200,000 doses of Sinovac vaccine, still in the museum in a way, cannot be used unless the little gods in Singapore verified and certified that it is safe for use or are there some other reasons?  This is in spite several hundred millions of users, and now with WHO approval. What it means is that our little gods are the authority, the most brilliant, cleverer than all the experts in WHO and all over the world on the safety and efficacy of vaccines. If they don't approve, then cannot use. Steady poon pee pee.

While the govt is pushing desperately for herd immunity and running short of American approved vaccines, and has to compromise to one dose instead of two doses as recommended, it would not use Chinese vaccines that are readily available, 200,000 doses in the museum, for whatever reasons.  Oh, the little gods have not given approval, still asking questions and investigating. 

The latest announcement by the govt that the use of Chinese vaccines, Sinopharm, think also include Sinovac, would only be available in the private sector. The govt would not subsidise, would not provide provide insurance coverage and those opting for Chinese vaccines must pay through their own pockets. 

Is this not discrimination against Chinese vaccines that are safer and cheaper and easier to administer than the American vaccines? Would not any govt choose to buy Chinese vaccines for safety and cost savings? The only advantage claimed is that American vaccines are more potent. With more and more data available, the efficacy of American vaccines is now in question and the percentages keep falling. Not forgetting many, actually quite number of those fully vaccinated and still got infected are jabbed with American vaccines,even with two doses.

The second discrimination is that there are citizens that could not use the American vaccines because of severe allergy or medical conditions that risked adverse side effects.  These citizens have no choice but to use the safer traditional method Chinese vaccines for their own safety.  Why are they punished by the govt to get jabbed in the private sector, and have to pay more and with no insurance protection/compensation?

Thirdly, the more expensive American vaccines are made available even to foreigners here for free. Why are citizens forced to go to the private sector and to pay for Chinese vaccines that the govt could buy at cheaper prices? See, foreigners given more expensive American vaccines for free but citizens have to pay for cheaper Chinese vaccines that the govt refused to provide even when there are 200,000 doses of Sinovac in the museum bins.

Why the discrimination against citizens and against Chinese vaccines in favour of more expensive but not so safe American vaccines? Why are citizens not given a choice to use vaccines that they feel are safer, some have no choice because of risk involved, and are cheaper to buy?

Any MP want to ask in Parliament about these discriminations, or are they too busy preparing to ask questions about dogs and pets and hawker culture? 

PS.  I have been waiting for Chinese vaccines for so long and thought it was good news that finally approved for use.  Now feeling cheated, discriminated. I am a citizen, pay taxes, and have to pay to be jabbed to make my fellow Singaporeans safer.  Foreign workers, foreign domestic workers, not sure about the very well paid foreign talents here, got free vaccines from my govt.

The Super Rich Are Choosing Singapore as the World’s Safest Haven

 Money is sloshing around Singapore like never before. Family offices, Bentley sales and real estate prices are booming.

For rich people “who can decide where they want to live and settle down, Singapore is a place of choice now,” said Stephan Repkow, who founded Wealth Management Alliance in 2015 after four years at Union Bancaire Privee. He said two of his foreign clients had become residents in the past 12 months and more are on the way.

Singapore has long been a draw for wealthy Chinese, Indonesians and Malaysians who would come for short trips to shop, play baccarat at the casino or get medical check-ups at world-class clinics. Mount Elizabeth Hospital Orchard, just steps from the flagship stores of Gucci and Rolex, features a UOB Privilege Banking Centre in the lobby.

The pandemic has changed all that, prompting many tycoons and their families to stay for months, in some cases seeking residency to ride out the storm. On a per capita basis, the mortality rates in Malaysia and Indonesia are more than 10 and 30 times higher than in Singapore, according to data collected by Johns Hopkins University.

The number of single family offices in the city-state has doubled since the end of 2019 to about 400, including firms recently set up by Google co-founder Sergey Brin and Shu Ping, the billionaire behind Chinese hotpot empire Haidilao International Holding Ltd. Demand for private golf club memberships is soaring, real estate prices have jumped the most since 2018 and until the recent clampdown, Michelin-star restaurants were packed. Global banks like UBS Group AG meanwhile are expanding in the city to manage the massive influx of assets.

Seletar Aiport, the hub for private jets, has seen demand for hangar space soar during the pandemic, said Alan Chan, head of business development at the 67 Pall Mall wine club, who until November was an executive at Go-Jets.

One private jet pilot who declined to be identified said it’s still extremely difficult to snare a spot. While the recent strict travel rules have extended to people with their own aircraft, he added that most expect them to ease in line with commercial flights after a few weeks.

Singapore doesn’t divulge many details on its super-rich migrant residents, but private bankers, multi-family offices and other service providers say the new arrivals are helping their businesses, in a city famous as the setting for the “Crazy Rich Asians” film.

Harish Bahl, founder of Smile Group, a family office that focuses on tech investment, said he’s never met this many super rich in the city. He’s been working in the tech space for more than two decades.

“Since the pandemic, billionaires from all over the world have been staying on longer in Singapore, including those from China, Indonesia, India and the U.S.,” he said, citing incentives for setting up family offices.

All this visible display of wealth can cause resentment, according to Toby Carroll, who lectures on political economy at the City University of Hong Kong and previously worked at the National University of Singapore.

“The negative impact for the majority of people facing increased costs of living—including of housing—declining social mobility and rising inequality bodes poorly for social cohesion,” he said in an email. “The link between rising inequality and social instability is very real.”

But instead of owning up, they tried desperately, with fabricated lies and no evidence, to point the finger at China's Wuhan Lab.  It is a simply and silly trick that the Americans are infamous for.  Create a false flag incident and blamed it on the victim.

The lab leak is from Fort Detrick Lab in the USA! The Americans had conducted their own investigation after closing down Fort Detrick and are using the same evidence to frame China, with the details transplanted into Wuhan Lab, as the new alternate truth.  They used every information from Fort Detrick, just changed the name to Wuhan Lab, and bingo, an investigative report to confirm it is lab leak.  And all the western media are paid to sing the same narrative and those brainless racist warmongers in Washington are happily jumping into this evil circus of political clowns. 

What else is new from the fumbling and desperate evil Americans?

PS. More than 100 countries, including China, have signed an agreement proposed by the EU to investigate the source of Covid19. Why the US refused to sign? Afraid that the investigation will go to Fort Detrick to dig out the truth?

WHO Has Approved Chinese Vaccines, Why Singapore Still So Indifferent?

 

"The World Health Organization has approved the emergency use of a COVID-19 jab made by Sinovac, paving the way for a second vaccine produced in China to be distributed among developing countries.

The UN Health Agency gave the green light to the two-shot vaccine on Tuesday as the jab “meets international standards for safety, efficacy and manufacturing.” ~ a statement read.

“It’s now crucial to get these lifesaving tools to the people that need them quickly,” the WHO Chief said."

The WHO’s approval gives countries worldwide the blanket blank cheque to quickly approve and import the Chinese vaccines for use to protect and save their citizens, especially those who do not trust the US-monopolised Western vaccines that deviated from the tested and tried original method of producing vaccines, such as Pfizer and Moderna.

The longer term negative side-effects for the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are still unknown, but can be envisaged.

Now that the super infectious and more deadly B1617.2 variant from India has already spread to at least found in 53 countries, why is Singapore still so indifferent and senseless in not approving them.

Even if the Chinese vaccines have been approved by the Singapore Health Authority (because it is untenable and pure stupidity not to do so), the Singapore leaders have deliberately put in restrictions, saying that they may only be distributed to private clinics and doctors, without government subsidies, and not freely as in the present cases for Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

Why must Singapore leaders display such a clear bias against the vaccines produced in China?

Why must the older citizens/voters who believe in the Chinese vaccines, instead of Pfizer and Moderna, be treated so badly/differently?

The world is woke to Western posturing and global white privilege

The West’s disingenuous position on Israel and its coordinated attacks on China have blown the cover of the liberal narratives it uses to hide a postcolonial, imperialist agenda

Its hypocrisy has been further exposed by its hoarding of coronavirus vaccines and the systemic racism that prompted the Black Lives Matter protests and fuelled attacks on people of Asian descent.

A tipping point has been reached, even if it has hardly been discussed within societies and by political leaders. Across the non-Western world, there is growing awareness and rejection of the hypocrisy, insincerity and insecurity embedded in the Western world with regard to its relations with the global majority.

Western narratives and propaganda took hold across the world over the last 200 years as a result of colonisation and imperialism. Mind capture was a necessary tool of oppression to subjugate people. And despite decolonisation, mental colonisation became the new frontier and remains a key strategy of postcolonial imperialism. Citizens of former colonies remained receptive to Western ideas, having been indoctrinated for so long, and this influence is still actively cultivated via Western soft power as well as through Western education and its global media.

Today, much of the Western world retains the mentality that their nations and “white people” are superior, with the singular goal of retaining global economic dominance. This, even though the rest of the world is acutely aware of the dangers of extreme forms of “White People First” as manifested in Donald Trump and his tumultuous presidency. Yet we still see efforts to actively preserve white privilege, which goes well beyond egregious acts of racism against people of colour.
