Hurray Trump has done it

The S&P 500 fell 85.72 points, or 2.9%, to 2,840.60. The Dow sank 800.49 points, or 3%, to 25,479.42. The Nasdaq composite lost 242.42 points, or 3%, to 7,773.94. The Russell 2000 index of smaller company stocks slid 43.05 points, or 2.8%, to 1,467.52.

The losses come a day after stocks rallied when the Trump administration delayed tariffs on about $160 billion in Chinese goods that were set to take effect on Sept. 1.

I have always wrote in praise of Trump for his effort in bringing down the American Empire. And he has consistently and relentlessly been pushing his agenda his way that he thought would make America Great Again. He sincerely believed that he is godsend to do this job. He is the best man in the USA to make American great again.  ‘We are winning big time, against China’.  Oops, Dow fell 800 points or 3%. And the fear of recession is looming around the corner. Not to worry, Trump the Conman is in charge. He will continue to con the Americans all is fine, China is in deep trouble, America is doing very well. But he quickly reversed course and said the new tariff hike would take effect on 15 Dec. Otherwise all the imports for Christmas present would be much more costly to the Americans this Christmas.

Now look at the figures above posted in Yahoo News on 14 Aug and ask if you believe in them or believe in Trump the Conman. There were many indicators pointing to serious problems in the US economy, falling real income, employment numbers and the need to lower interest rates. But no one wants to believe but love to believe in Conman Trump. Now reality hits, bond market indicators showed recession coming and Dow plunged, 800 points. You cannot hide, cannot run, cannot lie.

In the meantime Trump and his gangsters are behaving like terrorists terrorizing countries all over the world with threats of war. The people in Iran and Venezuela are waiting being massacred by the Americans. Warships and warplanes are all over Iran. In the case of Venezuela, the Americans had stopped a ship carrying food to feed the Venezuelans. The Venezuelans can die as long as Trump and his terrorists try to do a regime change to force Maduro, their elected President to step down. If not, die shall the Venezuelans. The same goes to the Iranians. The North Koreans are luckier as China is just next door and food supply and essentials will not stop flowing into the country to feed the North Koreans despite all the sanctions and blockades by the Americans for the last few decades.

I digress. The most and immediate threat to the world economy and world peace is the Number One Terrorist of the World trying all ways to destroy the world. Trump is the leader leading a bunch of unscrupulous leaders in the White House doing just this, to destroy the world to make America great again, but not before destroying America in the process.

Well done Conman Trump. No more trade deal with China.

The children of the world that survived this madness created by Trump and his gangsters would remember how great America was, but then dead and gone.

IMDA – Brown face ad insensitive but did not breach Internet Code of Practice

The Nairs were given conditional warnings for their racist and highly offensive rap video, attacking the Chinese as a racist race with vulgarities. Conditional warning means if they remain crime free for two years, no action would be taken against them. Is this too lenient for such an offensive video? According to a lawyer Ravinderpal Singh, quoted in thenewpaper, ‘the intention to knowingly harm the harmony between different religious or racial groups has to be present to constitute a criminal offence under Section 298A(a) of the Penal Code. From the sentence given, can one read that the Nair siblings has been judged as having no intention to harm racial harmony and thus only a conditional warning?
 
How then could one judge that a person has intention to harm racial harmony? By own admission? In this case the people making the judgement was the Attorney General’s Chambers and ‘they concluded that the video was in contravention of Section 298A(a) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. How does one interpret this judgement by the AGC? If there is a contravention, should not the siblings be charged for the criminal act?
 
In the case of the brown face ad, the AGC has ruled that ‘there was no criminal offence disclosed in the advertisement’. Both the brown face ad and the offensive video led to police reports. Legally and clearly, according to AGC’s decision, one is criminal and the other is not.
 
The other issue is the insensitive or inappropriate part. How to decide what is insensitive and what is not? Who to decide? We have two organisations, the Council of Advertising Standards Authority of Singapore and the Attorney General’s Chambers have ruled that the brown face ad did not break any law. So why are some people still uttering that the ad was insensitive and inappropriate when it did not break any law? Oh, because a few bigots said so. The few bigots are setting the standard of social norm in Singapore, not the Council of Advertising Standards Authority of Singapore, not the AGC.
 
There are hundreds of millions of people with brown faces. If their brown face is offensive, their lives would be very miserable having such a colour on their face. What about the white Europeans travelling thousands of miles here to buy suntan lotion to lay under the sun to bake themselves just to have a brown face? To them brown face is beautiful, a colour of choice. Offensive to who?
 
The same reasoning applies. A swine woman threatened and bullied an innocent 9 year old that saying beef curry was insensitive and could get him killed in some country. To her, no one in Singapore can mention eating beef. My God, there are hundreds of millions of people eating beef daily. These people even studied the various types of beef and how to cook them to get the best taste. Would some minister or MP table in Parliament to ban the mention of eating beef and beef advertisement in Singapore? Would one have to whisper to a waiter when ordering steak, ‘Psst Psst, I want it (beef steak) done it this way. Sorry I can’t say it loud as it would offend some bigots and I could get myself killed’?
 
Singapore is not only a multi cultural, ethnic and religious society. It is also a cosmopolitan city. We respect the sensitivity of the different races and religion. But none should be allowed to impose their sensitivity on other people. Singapore must not allow a few bigots and extremists to dictate the social norms of what is right and wrong or what is permissible or insensitive. There are rules and laws on such matters and these should be the deciding factor, not some bigots and idiots.
 
We must not allow bigots and idiots to set the rules of social norms.

Temasek is a disciplined speculator

The above is posted by Phillip Ang in TRE. Phillip has been working very hard to find such things, on buying high selling low by Temasek, to post in his blog likedatosocanmeh and in TRE.

From the perspective of a disciplined gambler or speculator in the market, cutting loss is an important strategy that all gamblers must know and brave enough to make, to cut loss. For not doing so, the loss could be even bigger. So disciplined speculators that cut loss are good speculators. This is something that Phillip may not understand. Just imagine if the disciplined speculator did not cut loss, he could lose every cent in the investment. So losing a few hundred millions and still can take back a few million that is left is still better than taking back nothing.

I don't speculate so I am safe from making such losses resulting from buying high and selling low. Don't ask me for such advice, I am not qualified to do so. Ask the disciplined speculators if you want. And mind you, it takes a genius to consistently buy high and sell low. It is not easy to keep on repeating the same cycle. And that is the reason why such genius are paid very very well.

And there is real gain in such a strategy if you know how to use it wisely, making real profits instead of making paper profits that you cannot realised.

Trading, speculating, making gain or loss can be quite deceiving and intriguing to the innocent and uninitiated.

SG High Commissioner seeks mercy from new Indian state govt after SG plonks $4B into state

Last month, it was reported that the joint venture project between Singapore and India to build the new Amaravati capital city for the state of Andhra Pradesh has been stalled by the newly elected Indian state government.

The project is a joint development between the Singapore Consortium led by Temasek-linked Ascendas-Singbridge and Sembcorp Development, and Amaravati Development Corporation Limited, a company set up by the previous Andhra Pradesh state government.

Andhra Pradesh was earlier governed by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) which was aligned with PM Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)....

Unfortunately, the new Chief Minister Reddy is not a keen supporter of the Amaravati capital city joint venture project and has even publicly announced that the project is “not a priority” for him. The new state government is reviewing all ongoing works and cutting finances, triggering uncertainty over the future of the state capital project which Temasek-linked entities Ascendas-Singbridge and Sembcorp Development have invested in.

Work on the capital city, which has been running behind schedule, has come to a standstill. Chief Minister Reddy has set up a team of technical experts to review every aspect of the project, following allegations that the previous Chief Minister was involved in corruption over the way land was acquired, as well as other improprieties including insider trading....

To underscore Reddy’s disdain for the project, it was reported that his new state government has even gone ahead to cancel flight arrangements connecting Amaravati’s Vijaywada Airport and Singapore’s Changi Airport, an agreement signed by the previous state government with Singapore....

On Friday (9 Aug), it was reported in Indian media that Singapore High Commissioner to India Lim Thuan Kuan went to meet Chief Minister Reddy on the sidelines of the Diplomatic Outreach programme. Lim was accompanied by officials from Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Lim told Chief Minister Reddy that Singapore is ready to invest more in thermal, solar, aerospace and related fields, apparently in an attempt to appease the new Chief Minister....

Everything is so similar to what Mahathir has done to Chinese projects. But the Chinese were smart enough to build in breach of contract clause and could claim compensation. I dunno if Singapore is smart enough to do that or would be so trusting and did not include such a clause and leaving it to the good nature and mercy of the Indians and now the High Commissioner is begging for mercy in the above report.

I came across an Indian expert saying that to invest in India, it is wise to give the money to a knowledgeable Indian to do the rest and sit back and collect money. India is simply a place not for investment. I dunno how many commando type of businessmen would accept this kind of idiotic advice to put money in other people's pocket and hope for the best. If there is, it must be Singaporeans. Singaporean's idiocy is legendary in doing business overseas. If they can sign a CECA agreement, they can sign anything.

What I like most about the above report is the last sentence. Now with one ball being squeezed, we promised to pump in more money by promising to invest more so that after one ball is being squeezed, put in the other ball to be squeezed also. At the look of it, either we are so desperate to invest in India, so stupid, or they really did not put in a breach of contract clause so got nothing to fall back on to crawl back some losses. 

Who are the idiots that were so gungho to invest big big in India? 

All I can say is never mind, OPM what, only $4b mah.

This reminds me of DBS India. Can you imagine how much Singaporean's money is being pumped in to build a bank in India? Is there a senior Singaporean there to take charge and control the finances? Or is the whole bank run by Indians and we just have no choice but to trust them, like the Indian expert said, give him the money and he would do the rest. He forgot to add, the risk is yours. Did anyone say stupidity has no cure? I hope I am wrong and the DBS India is in good Singaporean hands and no one can steal the whole bank from under his nose.

An Australian tourist has been arrested after fly kicking a motorcyclist in Bali.

The damning video was uploaded to a popular Instagram account, @denpasar_info, and shows the Aussie man running towards oncoming traffic on Sunset Road in Kuta.

“A foreigner who went on a rampage in Jl. Sunset Road, successfully secured after trying to crash into a vehicle in the area,” the Instagram caption read.

As a motorbike approaches, the man jumps and kicks the motorist, who falls off his bike, hits the ground and skids down the road.

The same man then runs towards an oncoming car, which he jumps over....The tourist has been identified by 7News as Nicholas Carr, a 26-year-old apprentice builder from South Australia.

According to 7News, the man’s violent rampage allegedly included smashing a mini-mart window and a restaurant window, and assaulting a sleeping man in his bed.

The above is reported in Yahoo News. And here is a pic of the wildlife after being caught and looked like being well beaten by the Indonesians. This is the way to treat wildlife. Not to give them a peck on the back of the hand and let them free. Wildlife must be treated like animals. See how sweet and well behaved when he is tied up? No more monkey business.

This is something Singapore and Singaporeans can learn from the Indonesians.

Hong Kong - Protesters telling the truth?

Hong Kong protesters rally at airport to share 'the truth'

This is the statement the demonstrators occupying Hong Kong international airport are trying to say to the visitors. The kids claimed that Hong Kong is ruled by 'tyranny and police brutality'. Is that the truth? The world have previews of all the demonstration rallies and could see how violent the protesters were, I mean the kids. They attacked policemen and police stations, ransacked Parliament and govt offices. There were violence and rioting on the streets. These are lawless mobs, burning, beating people and policemen and destroying properties.

The fact that no one die was due to the restraints of the police. The protesters should be grateful to the police for their mercy.

Now, what truth are they trying to say? The truth is that Hong Kong is a tiny bit of China. China would not allow Hong Kong to go independent or break away. Period. A Hong Kong that is independent and under the influence of the West, would be a malignant growth, a cancer in the throat of China. This is never to happen at any cost, just like Taiwan would not be separated from China and to allow the West to use it to create mischief for China. It is impossible, a lost cause from the start. China would lock down Hong Kong if needed to, destroyed, but would never allow it to become a western base to undermine China's interests.

The rioting kids, and the lunatic adults hiding behind them, think they have the Americans and the West supporting them and they can run wild to wrestle Hong Kong from China. They think that world opinion would help them to win their cause.

The cost of this lunacy would be their lives and the future of Hong Kong as a thriving financial centre of China. 

Today, Hong Kong is dispensable. Everything Hong Kong does can be replicated and replaced by other cities of China. 

Today, China is not a downtrodden poor country easily invaded by foreign forces. 

Today, China is able to match the Americans in every way in a major war. 

Today, the Chinese people are united and the thought of becoming a colony and subjects of a foreign power is shameful, disgraceful and unacceptable.

When China was poor and weak, they stood up to fight the Americans and 22 countries combined in the war against American Imperialism in Korea and won. Today, China would turn Americans and another 22 countries, if the Americans could gather, into minced meats. What is 1m lunatics running wild in the streets of Hong Kong? China could pour in 2m volunteers to flood the streets of Hong Kong and suffocate the mobs with a snap of the finger, and the Americans and the West could do nothing about it.

These are the truths that the mobs need to know. They are disposable and dispensable gun fodder. The only way for them going forward is to migrate to their western countries of choice and be subjects of the western countries. Hong Kong does not need them and they have no place in Hong Kong.  Hong Kong is China.

PS. There is a general belief that the Hongkongers are street smart. So, do they believe that China would let Hong Kong to go independent when the stake is so high? Who managed to convince them, to con them to believe that this is possible? Even if a lot of lives would have to be put down, China would face it and do it to keep Hong Kong as part of China. Hongkongers could not see this hard truth and believe it could be otherwise because some Europeans or bananas told them so?

After a few life times of being controlled and indoctrinated by the West, the Hongkongers forgot that they are as Chinese as the Chinese in China. They forgot that they could rule themselves and run their own country but still clinging to be ruled by Britain and be slaves of the Brits.

Communism is bad, Chinese is bad. There is no successful democratic country in the world. The 'successful' western democracies were successful because of Imperialism and colonialism when they controlled and fed off from their ex colonies and exploited the rest of the world by unfair economic system. Today, without their ex colonies, one by one the western democracies are failing. The USA economy is waiting to implode. The European democracies are going bust one by one and China is stepping in to save them. What an irony. But stupid Hongkongers still could not see the truth.

VVIPs at National Day Parade

For the first time the heads of govt of Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei were sitting in the front seats outside City Hall to watch our National Day Parade. This is a good sign of improving relations with our neighbours. And the minister given the task to make the VVIPs comfortable and felt welcome is non other than our Emeritus Minister Chok Tong. And he was coveniently seated next to Mahathir to make Mathathir feel Singapore wanted good relations with him and with Malaysia.

RIP Google, here comes HarmonyOS from Huawei

Trump has officially killed Google and Android. Huawei has launched its own operating system HarmonyOS for all its handphones. This is a very powerful and versatile OS and can be used with many other platforms like cars, ipad, digital watchs, TV etc etc. This would mean that all Chinese handphone makers would be switching to Huawei HarmonyOS. The Chinese market would be closed to Google totally The African market and the Indian market are also using Huawei's OS. The rest of the world would follow suit except for North America, the USA.

To the average handphone users, whatever OS is transparent to them and it would not matter much and using Huawei would only mean that they are getting a better and cheaper system. For the sophisticated users, HarmonyOS is much superior than Android and they know and would switch to Huawei by choice.

Samsung would switch to Huawei for its China market for no better reason than convenience as all the Chinese users would be using HarmonyOS. Huawei could deliver the final blow by offering HarmonyOS for free or at a nominal fee to Samsung and also to Apple. What is there left for Google?

Google would become the IT dinosaur of modern technology overnight. It would be buried by its own weight.

Thank you Donald Trump, for delivering this deadly blow to Google and its Android OS.

PS. Apple's share of the mobile phone market is only 10%. Samsung is 23%. China's Huawei and Oppo took the top 2nd and 3rd spots in worldwide shipment of the equipment, taking 18% and 9.5% respectively.  If all the Chinese handphones are added, they took more than 60% of the world market. If Samsung goes HarmonyOS, together they would tak a whooping 83% of the market share.

Petition to Singapore Athletes

Hi everyone,

I just signed the petition "Fellow Masters Athletes: Petition to Singapore Athletics" and wanted to see if you could help by adding your name.


The purpose of this petition is to stop Singapore Masters Athletes, SMA, an affiliate of World Masters Association, WMA, to impose unacceptable regimentation on senior masters athletes to attend compulsory centralised training or else not allowed to participate in WMA competitions like the World Masters and Asian Masters competitions, the latter will be held in Kuching this December.


SMA's requirement is that the masters athletes must attend 75% of their centralised training, held twice a week. No country in the world imposed this on their masters athletes.

Not only that the seniors, 60s, 70s and 80s and above did not have the time, neither would they have the energy and vitality to attend such trainings that the WMA does not required. Participation in WMA events is already a great achievement for the seniors. We are amateur athletes, not young professionals that do this for a living. 

This whole centralised training is simply a CRAZY idea from the unthinking.

Evil Empire planting the seed of destruction

The Evil American Empire is putting pressure on its Asian allies to allow them to plant American intermediate range nuclear missiles in their soil. The Americans claimed that the Russians were cheating in the INF treaty. Holy cow, the Russians are cheating the Americans too. Honest Americans never cheat anyone or anything except the CIA according to Pompeo, ‘We cheat, we lie and we steal’. Remember that?

In reality it is to protect the American Empire and to control their so called allies. The Americans wanted these allies to allow the Americans to set up missile bases in their countries. The location of American missiles to within striking range of China and Russia would extend and expand the reach of the Evil Empire in a war with these two countries. These are offensive weapons of mass destruction.

What does this mean to the American allies? It means that not only the American missiles can strike at China and Russia, the Chinese and Russian missiles would also be able to reach these countries making them primary targets when war breaks out and increasing the need for American protection. The move would mean that the Evil Empire would gain in many ways while their allies would lose in many ways.

Australia, the staunch American ally, the white country in Asia, has officially rejected this request from the Americans. They know that having American missile bases in Australia would mean Australia would also be targeted as number one priority by China and Russia just like Japan and South Korea. Australians are too smart for that. Why would they want to invite Chinese and Russian missiles flying into their territory? China has officially warned the US that deploying these missiles in China’s neighbourhood is unacceptable and China would respond, China would not sit idly by.

South Korea, a semi colony of the evil Empire also rejected the American pressure to place intermediate range nuclear missiles in their land.  What about little USAs?

Would there be silly Asian or Asean country eager to host American nuclear missile bases in their land and become top priority target of Chinese and Russian missiles? Would any silly Asian or Asean country volunteer for this role, or begging for it?

Brown face is extremely offensive!

What, what kind of sicko would make this kind of racist statement? What is wrong with brown face or for that matter black face? The skin colour of a person is nature, for those who believe in God, it is god given. Anything that is created by God is fair and good. There is nothing offensive about a brown face or a black face. Every race, whatever colour they are, must be proud of themselves. There is nothing offensive or shameful just because of one’s colour. It is like there is nothing shameful of one’s birth, of one’s parents rich or poor or whatever. You cannot choose your parents and neither can you choose your colour.
 
Only racists would be disturbed by colours, like the white supremacists. They hate coloured people. In thenewpaper today there is a photo of two white American policeman on horseman pulling a black man they arrested and tied with a rope. This is racism! As for the rest of the coloured people, be proud of yourself and your race and your colour.
 
Now who is that racist that made the above statement about brown face is offensive? Offensive to who, in what ways? Here is the quote from thenewpaper, ‘We only wanted to spark a conversation and get corporations to stop painting people brown to portray a minority and instead simply hire a brown person because a brownface is extremely offensive.’
 
My God, is anyone of you ashamed of your skin colour because it is brown? Would a brown person feel offended by this statement, that brownface is offensive? Should brown colour people be running to hide themselves and stay away from people who found their brown colour, their brown face offensive?
 
All the bodybuilders should not put brown oil on their bodies as it is offensive to some racists. Suntan oil should be banned. The MediaCorp actress should stop dressing like Pinoys and talking like Pinoys. No one of any race should dress to look like another race in any occasion for whatever reasons. This is Singapore, a little uptight island with silly people that see an ad of a brown face as offensive. I think this comment that brown face is offensive is the worst that you can get. Why no one feel offended by it? And poor Dennis Chew has to come out and apologise for it again!
 
People that think other people’s skin colour is offensive is sick in the head, real racists to the core. This is no joking matter to have such people around you, all the time looking at the colour of your skin and feel offended.
 
Be proud of who you are, your family, your ethnicity and your colour. If not you will feel very miserable when the racists attacked you because of your colour.

Stupidity of Emperor Trump confirmed

China has stopped buying of soya beans and farmed products from the USA. China also allowed Yuan to fall to the lowest level against the greenback. These are direct results of Trumps interference in China’s domestic affairs, including the selling of arms to Taiwan and messing around in Hong Kong’s civil riots.
 
Emperor Trump is still living in the ages when the Americans ruled the world and any country that it disliked, scorned upon, will be whipped, threatened, sanctioned or invaded. While the trade talks are going on, Emperor Trump stupidly thought that he could increase pressure by pointing a gun at the Chinese negotiators to force them to sign on the dotted line at terms the Americans dictated. This kind of gangsterism and bullying tactic no longer works and would be strongly opposed by China and the Chinese people. The more Trump applies this rough tactic which he thought was very clever of him, the further would be the day for a trade deal with China. China is no longer a pushover and would not surrender to such bullying. Trump can play tough, China too can play tough.
 
Trump and his silly American advisors thought the Chinese are meek, weak and stupid and they could pretend to negotiate a trade deal and at the same time undermine China’s interests in Taiwan, Hong Kong and the South China Sea. These are all inter related and cannot be separated from the trade talks.
 
‘I would increase pressure on China by raising tariffs on the balance US$300 billion imports from China,’ declared Emperor Trump. The Chinese would have to go down on their knees to beg for mercy. Instead it is the American farmers that would go down on their knees to beg for mercy from their Emperor Trump. This naked Emperor still believes he is wearing his best clothes.
 
China not only stopped all buying of American farm products, it also allowed Yuan to devalue to offset the rise in tariff. Then what, Wall Street collapsed. The pride of Emperor Trump could not hold on to his make belief that everything is fine, he is winning the trade war. S&P index fell 3% wiping out US$766 billion from the US market. And Emperor Trump would again be shouting we are winning, we are winning.
 
Still want to talk to China and want to have a trade deal, winning a trade war? China has no bullets left to fight the USA? Dream on Emperor Trump. China would reply for every shot fired by Trump. This war is asymmetrical and China has a lot of weapons to play, not hapless and cannot do anything against Trump’s threat and tariffs. Keep going Emperor Trump, oh by the way, you are naked. The American economy has never been so good, the stock market is hitting new highs. America is great again. Keep blowing your horns.
 
The more Emperor Trumps tries to bully China, the more China would resist and hit back. Name China as currency manipulator, go ahead, keep behaving badly like a gangster and hope to have a trade deal and win. We are winning the trade war, China needs a deal, we don’t need a deal but we will give them a deal…very soon. We will have a trade deal that is good for us, bad for China. China has no choice but must accept a bad deal….

Existential threat to Singapore's future well being

The noise against the Chinese majority's existence in Singapore is getting bolder by the day with locals, new citizens, PRs and those paid by us to work here taking potshots at this balance as if this is unacceptable, and reducing the Chinese majority is seen to be fair and just. There is nothing wrong being the majority! Without being seen as conceitedness and racial arrogance, Singapore is today exactly because it has a Chinese majority that worked damn hard to build this City and Country to what it is today. Then what if there was no Chinese majority here and what would Singapore be like can be seen by all the modern cities with good infrastructures in the Asean countries against those cities in Southern Asia. The difference is distinct and cannot be hidden or pretend that we would be better off if the Chinese majority is wished away.

The fact that there was a Chinese majority here cannot be blamed on the Chinese. The Chinese majority need not apologise for it. They were imported here to do the coolie work by the British colonial masters when they found the locals less industrious and the Indians imported from India very good as clerks in the colonial offices. The Chinese were also imported as indentured labour for the tin mines and rubber plantations in Malaya. They grew the Chinese population by designed without conspiracy and input of the Chinese. So please do not begrudged the Chinese for being the majority here and their contribution towards this modern and well organised city state. It could be worse if the Chinese were not here and we would not have this beautiful island to feed the hungry wildlife, jobless and penniless in their slum third world countries. I am not apologising for this hard truth.

Donald Trump has this to say to his wildlife, if you are so good, go back and build your own broken countries.  In a way the western countries with white majority are similar to the existence of Chinese majority here. The USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, all have white majority and have to thank them for it for building the modern and well organised countries today.  The only difference is that the whites conquered and colonised these big countries and treated them as their own. The Chinese majority in Singapore did not come here to conquer the locals and to steal their country. They came here to work, period.

The large presence of Chinese majority in Singapore and SE Asia is a political accident created by the white colonialists. And they stayed and contributed positively and in very big ways to their new home countries. They did not demand special treatment, they did not demand others must give way to them so that their life can be easier. The Chinese majority or minority in SE Asia lived by the norms and political tapestry and demands of their respective countries, often being discriminated. They worked very hard, compete with unfair privileges and discriminations to be what they are today. The minorities must not see this as their right to demand the Chinese to become a minority. The 'privilege' of being a majority does not automatically make the life of the Chinese easier. Every one of them has to work just as hard. It is bullshit to claim that the minorities have to work harder to succeed. My two big balls. With my qualifications and ability, I will be much better off as a minority.

Why should the Chinese give way to the demands of the minorities and voluntarily reduce their presence and privilege just because the minorities are demanding for it? Would the whites in the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand allow their majority to be dwindled to become minorities just because the minorities demanded for it, perceived to be fairer and less disadvantaged by the minorities? Which majority group in the world would be stupid enough to do this and destroy themselves and their own existence? Once the Chinese majority here loses their majority status, they would be buried for good, history, never to recover.

Oops, I spoke too fast. It may not happen elsewhere in the whole world. But in this stupidity has no cure city state, it may just happen when idiots are in charge. As some have spoken, for economic growth, the end all of everything, for money, they would sell their fathers and mothers, their wives and children without looking further than their nose.

Only in Singapore where the minorities constantly took liberties at the majority, beating them and taunting them and calling them names and racists in public video clips for all to see. And some daft Chinese did not see anything wrong with the insults and vulgar attacks.

Hong Kong, let it burn, let it burn

I suggested that China should do nothing and let the Hongkongers continue with their rampage and anarchy in the streets of Hong Kong, if this is what they want. China should stand back and see how creative and talented the Hongkongers are to continue to prosper the economy, without the special concessions and privileges offered by China.
 
The Hongkongers still believe that they are the greatest and smartest people and the prosperity of Hong Kong is the result of their ingenuity and enterprise and not the generosity of China. China just need to treat Hong Kong like any Chinese city, no special privileges and concessions, and no meddling with their politics and administration.
 
When Hong Kong fails, continues rioting and anarchy, China can then step in and offer amnesty to all Hongkongers to leave for greener pastures. A failed Hong Kong would give China the reason to declare its one country two systems a failure and take back Hong Kong now instead of after the 50 year agreement.
 
China can give the Hongkongers who wish to leave Hong Kong all the time in the world to leave, but take back Hong Kong and run it the China way. I think this is the fairest for both parties. The Hongkongers that want to leave will be assisted to leave. Those that wanted to stay would be welcomed to stay under One China One System. No buts or ifs. Hong Kong is a Chinese territory and must be one with China.
 
Let them go, let them be free wherever they want to go while Hong Kong returns to China for good. The twains shall never meet as they are just incompatible and the earlier the two are separated the better for all.
 
Let Hong Kong continues on its self destruct mode, if this is want they think is best for them.
