20th Asian Masters – Singapore’s medal haul

3 days of wet weather almost ruined the conscientious effort of the people of Rugao in organizing this bi annual event. Rain came pouring exactly on the first day of the Meet and during the Opening Ceremony. This did not dampen the spirit of the people of Rugao. The children and youth were out in full force to welcome the visitors and athletes to the game, donning raincoats over their beautiful costumes. They were full of enthusiasm and charmingly disarming. They danced in the rain, as young as 10 or 11 years old. The youths were in high spirit, boisterous and in a joyous mood, their youthful innocence and carefree spirit were more than enough to bring joy to everyone. This event could be their first international event and they were putting out their very best to make the visitors feel welcomed.

Fair weather returned on the third day and so were the medals. Singapore came home with 4 golds, 5 silvers and 9 bronzes. (3 still unaccountable)

The top performer in Team Singapore is Tan Kim Seng with 2 gold in 200m and 400m in the 55-59 age group. 85 year old Kor Hong Fatt did just as impressive with gold in 10,000km, silver in 5,000km and bronze in 1,500m.  The other gold is from Steven in 200m. Steven also won a bronze for 100m as well. Ansgar won a silver for 5000m. Jason, the team leader brought home a silver for his 100m hurdles and was poised for a gold in his favourite event in the 400m hurdles but had to rush home after receiving message that his mother had a stroke. Belinda Foo and Linda too had their shares of silvers and bronzes.

And Leong Hon Cheong just reminded me that I have left out my good friend Paul Su, ex national runner and his bronze medal for 100m.

More details of the medals winners will be added to this post later.

The Singapore Team also had the services of Rick Mather, a PR from UK and Mark Dixon from Australia and Reza from Iran. Rick brought home 2 bronzes, for the men’s 4x100 35 age group and 400m. These two angmos thoroughly enjoyed their time with Team Singapore and in Rugao. Mark almost brought home a beautiful and instant wife and son from his one week stay in Rugao: ). Reza too was having a great time with the strong Iranian athletes in Rugao. (I totally forgotten about Taka, our Japanese team member. Only knew he was in Rugao after chatting with him at the Flash athletic meet this afternoon, 7 Oct, at Bishan. He had an injury just like Thomas and were unable to compete in Rugao though making the trip there.)

Will add in more info as they came in.

PS. To all the regulars here, I am back. Normal service will resume ASAP.

Russian Treachery And US Connivance Cost China's Lost of Outer Mongolia

Russian Treachery and US connivance cost China's lost of Outer Mongolia
Inbox

In the 1920s after the Boshevik Revolution which toppled the Zarist imperial goverinment Lenin announced that Russia would return to China all Chinese lands that imperial Russia had taken from China illegally through the unequal treaties from 1800s to 1890s. However Lenin's premature death in 1925 changed the whole scenario. Stalin the next Boshevik ldictator did not intend to honour Lenin's promise.

In the intervening years after the First World War from 1918 to 1930s China was in total choas and turmoil.with no strong Central Government . Many Chinese provinces were under the shaky control of various warlords which were more probably bandit chiefs.Japan was attacking and invading China with brutal aggression. Chiang Kai Shek's KMT and Mao Tse-tung's CCP were in intense struggle for power to govern China.

During these tumultuous years Stalin took advantage of choas in China to encroach on the Chinese province of Outer Mongolia . Stalin sent his troops into Outer Mongolia purportedly to help preserve peace and order but actually with the sinister objective of instigating Outer Mongolia to secede from China.

During the Sino-Japanese War Mao's CCP and Chiang's KMT signed an agreement in 1936 to join forces against the Japanese. Chiang had the full backing of America.Mao had only lip service support from Stalin who had been scheming against China and betraying China by stabbing her on the back.

By the end of 1944, Germany was on the verge of defeat and US and its allied leaders shifted their strategic focus to Japan . US invited USSR which had a Neutrality Pact with Japan to join in the war against Japan.

To fix the terms of the Soviet entry into the Pacific War a meeting was arranged for Roosevelt , Churchill and Stalin to meet in Yalta in February, 1945. China was not included in this meeting for reasons only the allied leaders would know.

The exact terms of the Yalta Agreement was kept from Chiang who was not invited to the meeting at Yalta.Besides agreeing to Stalin's demand for restoration to Russia the Sakhalin and Kurile Islands, and special influential rights in Manchuria , Roosevelt and Churchill also agreed to Russia's special influence in the Chinese Province of Outer Mongolia..

Since many of the terms and conditions involved the sovereignty of China which was not represented at the Yalta Conference, Roosevelt took the responsibility to secure Chiang's approval of these terms which were anathema to China's interests.

Chiang sent his brother-in-law T.V. Soong to Moscow to work out an agreement with Stalin. Stalin offered Chiang a thirty year treaty of friendship and alliance against future Japanese aggression. He promised to support only Chiang as the leader of China and that Russia would not support Mao's CCP.. He also promised to withdraw Soviet troops from Manchuria in two or three months after Japan's surrender. In return he demanded Chiang to grantUSSR many vital concessions in Manchuria, the right to station Russian naval and air force3s in a military zone including Port Arthur, Dairen and ownership of the manchuria railways and connected enterprises. Stalin also demanded Chiang's recognition of the independence of Outer Mongolia.. T.V. Soong was forced to sign the agreement on 14th August, 1945, failing which Stalin threatened to hand over Manchuria to Mao's CCP.

After the agreement was signed Stalin promised to give the Chinese Central Government under Chiang, moral, military and material aid, Russia would respect Chinese sovereignty in Manchuria and refrain from intervention in Sinkiang and to acknowledge the political independence and territorial integrity of Outer Mongolia by means of a plebiscite to be undertaken under Russia's control.

The treaty was a heavy cost to China's interest and yet Chiang signed it as he felt assured and secure that least Russia was extending to him full support and not supporting Chairman Mao's Communist Party - CCP..

Throughout thid period Chairman Mao and the CCP was kept in the dark and was not aware of the fraud and deceit Stalin had imposed on Chiang.

Russia carried out a plebiscite in 1946 in Outer Mongolia to determine if the province wanted to continue as part of China or as a separate independent state.. Since the plebiscite was under full Russian control it was obvious the result was directed by Russia to opt for full independence from China..

It must be noted before the plebiscite Russia had earlier cut off a big chunk of land from Outer Mongolia and annexed to Russia under the name of Tannu Tuva.. Chairman Mao and China'sm CCP had never recognized the illicit deal that Stalin conducted with traitor Chiang at China's enormous expense.

In his visit to Moscow in 16th December, 1949 , Chairman Mao and Premier Zhou En Lai raised the Outer Mongolia matter with Russia but Stalin couldn't care at all and just ignored Mao with insult.

China lost the province of Outer Mongolia all because of the treachery of Russia, and UK who used Chinese territories to ttrade terms for Russia's entry into the Pacific War against Japan.. This is one huge insult and humiliation waiting to be redeemed by China in future.

Western Democracy

It seems Western Democracy had its birth in Athens during the time of Plato and Aristotle. The system has been widely practised in western countries for hundreds of years. If we examine Western Democracy system which has spread like a disease to all ex-colonial countries we can see a lot of flaws and fraud in the system .

There are actually too many flaws and possible loop holes for frauds in the system to enumerate. Suffice to say Western Democracy is always hijacked by men of disputable characters . In short they are mostly monopolised by crooks and scoundrels who camouflaged themselves in respectable outer outlook of resplendent coats and ties.

Take for example the American Republicans and the Democrats. Aren't the two parties two sides of the same coin. They both practise the same ideologies and same doctrines and serve the same agenda. The only is difference is that the leaders in each party are fighting to be the leader or leaders of the country . As leaders many of them will pretentiously claim to fight for the people and the country but with most of them actually having secret agenda for their own benefit or selfish ends.  How many of the populace have noticed that  many of these political leaders after serving one or two terms in office they can live comfortably as millionaires or even billionaires which they were not in the position to do so.before.

Asia style western based democracy is even more advance. Once the party is in power it will enact laws and regulations to entrench itself in permanent power .

Actually it would be nice if all parties sincerely work for the people and the country and not for their own benefit. If that can really happen it would be beautiful and graceful for the winning party leadership to invite and incorporate some talented good character opposition leaders as members of the government. So there will be no need to demonise each other to amuse the voters except on arguments base on logic and facts.

I am actually quite ignorant and confused about western democracy which people may be amused or abused when election comes all potential candidates will be barking at each other unashamely before the people like wild dogs and hyenas. I suppose the political aspirants do not mind the hassle for once elected they can live a luxurious life of glory and comfort and the people can easily forget about their promises.

I would be pleased if netizens can contribute their knowledge about the pros and cons of western democracy to enlighten the people.

F - 1 More Good Years

More good years for who? For the foreigners to bring their cars to run on our roads and to make profits from it while our taxpayers are paying for it?  During the last few sessions of  negotiation it was evident that F 1  was desperate for Singapore to host this event. They could not find a more hospitable , convenient and comfortable location for this event. It was like a die die they must hold it here.

Now would this give Singapore an advantage in the negotiation to cut a better deal to Singapore's advantage? Would Singapore negotiate for a share of the revenue from the event by working on the cost from each party and apportion the revenue proportionately ? Or would Singapore still be made to bear the $150m for the 3 night event? So far nothing was said of the new terms and agreements . Did Singapore get a better deal this time or again it is OPM, never mind, just spend , who cares? What is in it for Singapore to host this event for another 4 years and what is the cost to Singapore ?  Any real returns other than the intangibles?  Can there be more transparency on this as hundreds of millions of public money is being spent on this event.

Two Chinese legends that reflect the Chinese spirit of hard work and Perseverance

Two Chinese legends that reflect the indomitable hard working spirit and perseverance of the Chinese people are Yu-Kong Yu-San and Jing Wei Niow. If there are shortcomings in these articles I beg for forgiveness and hope netizens can contribute  more to these articles with their knowledgeable comments.

These two legends are selected because they have strong implications of the present hardworking spirit and perseverance of the Chinese people not only in China but also in Sinngapore and throughout the four corners of the earth.

The first legend is "Yu-Kong Yu-San". It is about a foolish old man trying to move the mountain in his village so that he could have more land for cultivation. People laughed at him saying it was impossible for him to move the mountain. However, the old man ignored them and continued to chip at the mountain spade by spade for days and weeks and months and years. People said how could he move the mountain since he was so old. The old man replied that when he died his sons would continue on the job and when his sons died their children  and grandchildren would carry on from generation to generation until the mountain is levelled.

The story reflects the Chinese philosophy of achieving success through faith, determination and hard work. The Chinese have a strong belief that "Faith can move mountains." and that one must struggle and work hard diligently with great determination to achieve success.

Singapore will not be like what it is today without the great determination and the selfless contributions of Tan Tock Seng, Lim Boon Keng, Nee Soon, Tan Kah Kee, Lee Kong Chian , Tan Lark Sye and many more others. Most of them were not rich when they came to Singapore . But through their wisdom, hardwork and indomitable spirit they had helped to build up Singapore to what it is like today. They are really the pioneers and founding fathers of Singapore and Singaporeans will be forever indebted to them for their great contributions , their generosity and charity to the general society at large.

No modern country had suffered greater humiliation at  the hands of the marauding West and Japan than China. For over a hundred years from 1830s to mid 1940s China was attacked , invaded  and almost conquered by Western powers and Japan and reduced to a semi-colonial country and to penury.

When Chairman Mao's People's Liberation drove out the hordes of foreign thieves, robbers, scoundrels and plunderers in 1949 , he had before him an extremely poor penurious China , a China like a dilapidated house in absolute shamble. But with the guidance of Chairman Mao and his close comrades in arms in the Chinese Communist Party ( CCP ) and the protection of the People's Liberation Army ( PLA  )  China and the Chinese people were undaunted . They struggled and worked hard with indomitable spirit and determination to build up China to what it is like today, a rich and powerful country , a beacon of light and hope to the third world countries who were similarly oppressed and exploited by the Western powers - the whitemen from Europe. The Chinese will never forget that when they were poor and weak they were the laughing joke of the West and Japan who contemptuously disparaged China as "Sick Man of Asia." Now China has rejuvanated and stood up proudly with dignity and self-respect but they still continuously bad mouth about
China and try all ways and means to contain and prevent China's peaceful development.

China has risen like the legendary phoenix from the ashes. China is now sharing her success with the rest of the third world countries by helping them to get out of the shackles of poverty in building their houses, factories, roads and infrastructures like railways and ports and mining. The Chinese believe that when you are successful you must help others to be successful. Thus it is unlike the West , US and Japan who for centuries had exploited third world countries for their own benefit and who will clobber you down when you are successful.

The second legend is called "Jing Wei Tien Hai." It is about a little prinncess - Ni Wo , the youngest daughter of Yan-Di or king Yan-Di.  Yan-di was one of the five legendary emperors of ancient China in which the most famous was emperor Sheng Nong. One day poor Ni-Wo was drowned in the Eastern Sea, probably off  the Shantung province. It was said after she was drowned her spirit metamophosed or transformed into a legendary bird called "Jing Wei Niow." Jing Wei Niow was like a fairy , a spiritual bird. Jing Wei Niow constantly picked twigs and pebbles especially colourful pebbles to fill up the Eastern Sea to reclaim land from the sea so that others may not have to perish as she did. The story reflects on the dogged determination and persistent perseverance of the Chinese people to struggle and achieve success inspite of tremendous impossible odds.

This is reflected in what China is doing in the South China Sea. Many areas of the Chinese South China Sea are treacherous with out cropping rocks, shallow sand bars and lagoons and invisible shoals. In the past hundreds of ships had been wrecked  in the South China Sea. To get rid of this danger China has been reclaiming land from the sea by filling up the treacherous areas with sand and earth. Then the Chinese build houses, farming community and light houses to warn ships of the danger in those areas. This helps ships of all countries to navigate safely from those treacherous areas and from being wrecked. Yet the vicious treacherous West , US and Japan try to put China in a bad light by accusing Chinese good deed for a wrong and fake reason that China is trying to prevent freedom of navigation of free passage for others. China had never stopped freedom of passage in the South China Sea in the past and will not do so now and in future. But it is a different matter when warmongers like US and Japan and the West intent to stir up choas ,trouble and instabilities in the region by sailing their warships close to Chinese shores and Chinese islands. For this China has the right to put a stop to their illegal provocative behaviour.

The Chinese people must never forget about the Old Man who moved the mountain and Jing Wei Tien Hai. They will always motivate and inspire Chinese to struggle hard to achieve success.

The Dark Age of China 1830s - 1905, China Lost Territories , Self-Respect and Dignity

In the years from 1830s to Mid 1940s China and the Chinese people suffered the worst outrage, insult and humiliation at the hands of Western imperialism and Japanese imperialism. It was a Dark Age when China was forced to cede large chunks of Chinese lands to the Western imperialists inclusive of England, France, Germany, Russia and Japan. China was reduced to a semi-colonial country where all the political and financial powers rest in the hands of the hordes of invading imperialists. All the major ports and cities were under imperialists control where they assume full control over customs, excise duties and taxes and thus depriving the Chinese of its revenues and impoverished China.

In the years from 1830s to mid 1940s China was weak because the Ching Dynasty and later the Kuomintang were corrupted to the core and were unable to stand up to foreign aggressions. Many European countries inclusive of England, Russia, France, Germany, Holland and Japan and US took undue advantage to invade China.

Each and every country that invaded China would after their victory in wars against China demanded from China to cede large chunks of territories to them . And on top of that they each forced China to to pay "indemnity " of several hundred million Chinese silver dollars. This indemnity money impoverished China for over a hundred years for China had to pay the extortion every year until the victory of Chairman Mao's Peoples' Republic of China in 1949 , when China stopped the payment.

In the years 1850s to 1860s there was a Chinese revolution - The Taiping Rebellion to get rid of the corrupted Ching Dynasty and to evict all foreigners from Chinese soil, The Taiping Revolution was led by a just as corrupted leader called Hong Siu Chuan.

The European powers , Japan and US saw no advantage in supporting a strong Chinese government where they would stand to lose all the advantages and benefits. Therefore they banded together to help the Ching Dynasty to destroy the Taiping Revolution.

With the corrupted Ching Dynasty back in control the Europeans and Japan were able to rob off big chunks of Chinese territories with impunity from 1850s to 1905. Russia occupied vast tracts of Chinese territories of a few million square miles from Lake Baikal to the Pacific coast including the Sakhalin Island. Russia also carved away large chunks of Chinese land from the western province of Sinkiang. England took away Hong Kong and many of the ports and cities inclusive of Shanghai, Tien-Ching, Ning-po and Amoy. Germany took control of the province of Shang-tung Peninsula and the Japanese took away Liu-Chiu Tao ( renamed by Japan as Okinawa ). In 1905 Japan also invaded Taiwan and some other smaller islands in the East China Sea.

All these stolen lands from China are still in foreign hands awaiting for the day of redemption when China is strong enough to claim back. The Chinese would never take an inch of foreign land but the recovery of all lost Chinese territories is a must.

Rugao, Jiangsu, China

Rugao, Jiangsu, China

This is my third day in Rugao. Weather a bit cool, about 25C and clear sky, no haze.

Yesterday spent whole day on tour of city area and the main place of interest was a huge mansion of a Ming Dynasty gentry, Mo Pi Jiang and his consort Dong Xiaowan. It was as big as Chinese Garden and with the houses and ponds still intact. would post some of the pics to show the architecture on my return.

Friday was a big rush, leaving office at 10.10am for Changi, depart at about 1pm, arrived about 5.30pm. Then waited at Pudong Airport in Shanghai for 1 and a half hour for our coach to Rugao. It took another 3 and half hour travelling in the day. The highway was new and smooth flowing and did not travel at high speed. Had a couple of stops along the way. Coach was new and comfortable.

Reach Rugao almost midnight. First big problem was struggling with the local Sim card. It did not work. The phone did not support the card and affected several of us. Finally confirmed the problem and had to rent a temp hp costing 10rmb per day this morning.

Rugao is a small city, probably 4th or 5th tier, about 1440 sq km, twice Reddot but only 1.4m people. It is a booming little city and the high rise is taking over the city scape. The residential homes were low rise semi Ds or detached and low rise condos. My, anytime better than ours and the roads were clean and nicely landscaped, quite like Reddot but cleaner in many places.

The people are well dressed, looking very well off and modern. But they are locals and were quite surprised that we could converse in Mandarin. Our Indian colleagues were celebrities and sought after for photo taking as novelties.

Oh, the lunch for the tour was unbelievable. About 14 courses in a restaurant private room. Cost, 38 rmb or about $8 per head. We were speechless as they kept pushing out the dishes non stop. And the dishes were good, very good, with green tea.

We had another great feast for dinner. When they served the cold dish, 8 plates, including cold steam prawns, cold beef, cold pork jelly etc etc, we were stoned. Definitely could not finish, the cold dish alone. And they served another 15 or so dishes, more prawns, crabs, big fish, pork leg, chicken etc etc, we gave up by the 4/5 dish. There were 6/7 of us per table.

Help came when another 6 late arrivals came to join us. Even then so much food were left unfinished.

Cost 600rmb per table. That is the cost of living here. Unspoilt by commercialism in a small ancient city with all the modern facilities. The shopping malls were no different from ours. I did not bring my shaver, thought it would be provided by the hotel and had to get a new Philips shaver, the cheapest at 119rmb.

In the evening there was a stage performance out our hotel next to a shopping mall to promote the opening of a gym. The stationary bikes for for the gym were the latest models, nver seen before. And the performers, all young people not different from our Orchard Rd kids. The drummer of the life band was a 12 year old boy and whacking the drums like a pop artiste.

The Hubris of Trum's Speech At UN General Assembly Part Two

In his speech at United Nations General Assembly on 19th September,2017 , Trump also labelled Syria and Venezuella as rogue regimes. But the fact is US historically has been a rogue country throughout its 242 years of nationhood. Every American president starting with George Washington is guilty of serious unforgivable war crimes against humanity. Rogue America has been carrying out wars of aggression and conquests every year for over 230 years out of its 242 years of independence from its rogue forbears England.

Nobody can beliecve America when it says this or that country is a rogue regime except America itself. The fact speaks for itself when big and small countries have been attacked and swallowed by America during the last over two hundred years. Every present existing American president should be hauled up by an international court of justice and sentenced for war crimes against humanity and every past American president starting from George Washington should likewise be posthumously denounced and sentenced for war crimes especially against Native American Indians, African Americans and Mexicans.

President Bashar Assad was democratically elected by his countrymen. His government sees to the needs of the people. Syria is the only country in the Middle East where more than 90 percent of the people  are educated. Until the American aggression most Syrians have a decent job and a standard of living well above the surrounding sea of of fanatic militant Sunni Islamic Arabs. Syria has a secular government and unlike fanatical wahabists Saudi Arabia, it respects every faith and women's rights and is friendly to all nations.

All hell let lose when in 2011 Saudi Arabia wahabists with the support and complicity of America planned to topple all secular governments in Middle East. US and Saudi Arabia wanted to occupy Syria and impose the brutal sharia law on the Syrians.

At the same time in that year 2011, US NATO Commander Wesley Clark disclosed US plans in 2001 to overthrow seven seven countries in the Middle East inclusive of Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Libya and Sudan.

In 2006 US embassy in Damascus published plans to instigate a revolution in Syria in 2011. In that year CIA plans for wars of aggression and covert operations were set in motion in their deadly plans to invade Syria and topple Assad. President Assad put up a good fight but he could not hold for long against overwhelming odds and the all powerful US and its hordes of allies in NATO, Saudi Arabia, Turkey Kuwait, Israel and Australia.

Assad legally sought Russia's help and with timely Russia's intervention the American rogues and its cohort of of allied aggressors were stopped in their path of conquest against Syria. But evil Rogue America has not given up hope of destroying Assad and Syria. But Russia is just as determined to protect Syria at all times.

Venezuella , Central America and South America have been at the receiving ends of US aggression throughout history. To hold sway over the countries of Central America and South America US enacted the sinister Monroe Doctrine which forbids other foreign powers or countries to have strong political or commercial relationships with the countries in the region. This type of illateral and illegal self assertive control over the region is evil extraterritoriality dictatorship and hegemonic control par excellence.

America has a history of overthrowing Central American and South American regimes which it disapproves. In 1954 CIA overthrew the democratically elected government of President Jocob Arbenz in a CIA sponsored military coup in Guatemala . In 1961 US tried to invade Cuba  to overthrow Fidel Castro in the failed invasion known as "The Bay of Pigs." In 1963 in Ecuador CIA backed military forces overthrew the democratically elected preseident of Jose Velasco and replaced him with Carlos Arosemans and the vice presidency with a CIA approved person. In 1964 in Brazil CIA backed military coup overthrew democratically elected government of Joao Goulart and replaced him with junta ruthless rule for 20 years under the watchful and evil training system of CIA. In 1965 US toppled the elected leader of Juan Bosch of the Dominican Republic. A sponstaneous uprising by the Dominicans to reinstal Juan Bosch was brutally crushed by US marines directed by CIA.

In 1968 ihn Bolivia US in contravention to interventional sovereignty rights illegally used extraterritoriality power to infiltrate into Bolivia in a CIA organized military operation captured the legendary guerilla Che Guevara and had him executed by the demeaning pro US government. However in 1971 Bolivia had a elected leftist government in president Juan Torres who was than deposed by a CIA backed military coup.

In 1973 in Chile CIA overthrew and assassinated president Salvador Allende and replaced him with CIA backed General Augusto Pinochet who under CIA command murdered thousands of Chileans of labour leaders and political opponents.

In the 1980s and 1990s US tried to destabilise Venezuella with CIA sponsored organized demonstrations that culminated in the Curacozo riots of 1989. In 1992 CIA organized two military coups which however failed badly. In 1993 pro USA  president Andres Perez was impeached for corruption . In 1998 Gugo Chavez was elected president and in 1999 his Constituent Assembly wrote a new constitution of Venezuella. Hugo Chavez was a good president who look after his people and country and because he was all for nationalising the Venezuella oil industry and strongly against CIA clandestine activities in Central and South American countries he was a marked man by CIA who plotted to assassinate him . It was claimed that Hugo Chavez might have been poisoned by CIA fifth column in Venezuella or in US A when he was undergoing treatment for a medical problem though he finally succumbed to cancer .

With Hugo Chavez 's death US has not given up hope to interfere in Venezuella's politics and internal affairs and is now using traitors and fifth columns to create choas and uprising against his successor president Maduro.

US is a deadly rogue country unsurpassed in history and must be eventually destroyed and eliminated for the safety of mankind

The Hubris of Trump's Speech at UN General Assembly - Part 1

Trump in his speech on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the UN General Assembly labelled North Korea, Iran , Syria and Venezuela as rogue regimes. He conveniently left out mentioning the world's most evil satanic rogue regime and that is the United States.

Korea was brutally torn asunder and conquered by Japan in 1905. At the end of the Second World War the Koreans threw out the Japanese and attempted to form a unified country. But to suit their insidious agenda the Americans and the Russians would not allow a single political entity of a unified Korea. They staged the Korean War which lasted from 1950 to 1953 and only an armistice was signed without both the American camp and the Russian camp committing to a peace treaty. Without the American and Russian intervention in the Korean Civil War , Korea would have been a unified country albeit notwithstanding whatever political system it decides to uphold. It is the rogue American intervention that resulted in a divided Korea to this day, just as its illegal intervention in the Chinese Civil War between Chairman Mao's People's Republic of China ( PRC ) and the Kuomintang ( KMT ) of the treacherous Chinese traitor Chiang Kaishek which resulted in the false division of China into Mainland China and offshore Taiwan. The rogue Americans by stationing its 7th Fleet in the Taiwan Strait prevented the PRC from recovering Taiwan to achieve a successful completion of a unified China.

Iran just as all the Middle East Arab countries face constant subversion by CIA. CIA covert clandestine operation overthrew the dully elected government of prime minister Mossadeq of Iran in June, 1953. Mossadeq was murdered by CIA's henchmen in Iran. Rogue America then installed a pro American Shah. The Shah regime did not last long  when the Shah himself was overthrown by the Iranians in 1979.  Iran was then ruled by Islamic clerics headed by Ayatollah Khomeini. Khomeini wanted to nationalise the Iranian oil industry which was then under US full control. CIA and Pentagon then armed Saddam Hussein of Iraq to confront Iran in September 22nd, 1980. CIA armed and supported an Iraqi invasion of Iran resulting in a war which lasted for eight years.During these eight years of war America not only sold weapons to Iraq but covertly sold weapons to Iran and thus reaped hundreds of billions of dollars in illicit profits. To rogue America it is alright for the Iraqis and the Iranians to fight and kill themselves while they laughed all their way to the bank.

In Part Two of the next article we will learn how Rogue America destabilise Syria and Venezuella  and destroy the two countries.

Redbean’s Art of Management

Many are familiar with such concepts like Murphy’s Law, Peter’s Principles, Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. I have just had an enlightened and would like to share with everyone about a new management doctrine or principle while I proudly claimed and called Redbean’s Art of Management.

The basis of this management doctrine is derived from age old practices, culling from the great religions, the essence of their teachings and why they are so popular with the people. It is all about the promise that everything would be alright in the future. You see, all great religions promise a great future, a glorious future waiting for the believers if they believe. Great religions don’t want to talk about the trouble and pain the believers are suffering in the present. Some even claimed that the pain today is good and part of the process to reap the rewards in the future. Suffer now, never mind, the future is good, must be good, very good.

In a way the religions are deceiving the people into forgetting their present sufferings and pains and hope, and hope that the promised future is really good. In the long run, everything is good, or the prophets of good future would be dead anyway. No wonder Mao Zedong called religion the opiate of the people.

Putting this great stuff from the religions into management principles is akin to applying Sun Tzu’s Art of War to management. Redbean’s Art of Management is about talking about how good the future is, or promising the future and not talking about the present.

In short, Talk about the future and Sell hope!

There are many advantages to this Art of Management. Yes, when you promise the future, you would not be around to answer if it fails. You also can buy time to sort out the problem or pretend to be sorting out the problem. And the people would forget about the present problem when no one is talking about it and would forget to complain about it. The best part is that the current problem is gone, not solved, but shelved. The people are in a way expected to accept the plight of the present.

The assumption of this Art of Management is that the people are daft and you can pull wool over their eyes. The daft would not question when you talk about the future, how good is the future. They would just believe and stop thinking about the problems right in front of them. They would not know that their attention has been directed away from the present to the future. Some call this kicking the can further down the road, procrastinating, or passing the buck to the future, buy as much time as you can. Some may call this bluffing, a deception. Anyway, it is a good management tactic for the inept when they could not solve the problem at hand. Why not, can continue to keep the job and pretend to be working very hard and all will be fine in the future when one is no longer around, but the problem still around.

Think can write a book about this, Redbean’s Art of Management…for the daft.

PS. I will be away for a week. Will try to post whenever I can find the time.
