I have made a factual error in my post 'Who decides how much freedom we can have.' Tharman did not say he is happy with the perfect balance today but that it is still evolving. That makes the content of the article totally out of sync. But I was using his quote to ask the question on how much freedom we should have and who should decide that.
I have made the necessary amendment of the article where appropriate.
Sorry Tharman, no intent to misquote you.

If you have to ask for permission to be free ... you deserve to be a slave or a daft Sinkie (which is exactly the same thing).

Rather it is the government who has to ask for permission (via the democratic process of general elections) to pass laws to take away our freedom and our CPF monies.
But only white people can understand this.
Chinese people are slaves and cannot understand this.
Chinese culture makes Chinese people too stupid to understand this simple idea.

Some RB articles are reposted in TRE which we know what happen recently. I was surprised to see the terms and conditions of TRE for writers when there is 1st sight of trouble for TRE. Those people who write non factual stuffs better understand the terms and conditions of TRE clearly first.
