Please return my money

This is about as far as what was suggested. Singaporeans should go down on their knees to beg the govt to return them their CPF savings. Have mercy, many have not seen anything more than $10k in their life and now that they have some money in their CPF, please return to them. Let them touch the thick wad of notes or feel the 5 digit number in their POSB passbook for once in their life time for they may not see tomorrow. How long must the govt continue to father the never to grow up children? Or will the govt only let go when they are about to die?

well there are many ways the people can beg for the money. here are some of my poorly conceived examples.

1. Attempt a coup
2. Organise a huge show that has all you mediacorp artistes and all citizens crying and begging the govt to return $ ala NFK charity style
3. Collect used cans and anything recyclable in the vinicity of the ministers, thus grabbing their attention.

lol

Good luck. I'll bet that NO ONE gets all "their money" back. (Unless they emigrate and surrender S'pore citizenship) WHY?

Because, as I keep repeating like an annoying broken record:

CPF is a TAX used to fund an on-going PYRAMID SCHEME.

The money may end up in Singapore Pools or casinos if these CPF monies are given to them without control.

In the end, who feeds them? Its you and me. Tax Payor's monies.

for one or two fools, the rest suffers.

when we pay civil servants and politicians miserable salary, we can expect mediocre solutions. when we pay them in millions, it is right that we demand million dollar quality solutions.

simple straight jacket solution cannot justify million dollar salary.

look at the intricacies of taxi charges, erp charges, etc they are so complicated and require a lot of effort to work it out.

why can't more effort be put in to make cpf more relevant to different people? many people do not need cpf once they pass 55. many have millions of dollars and assets and other support system and do not need to depend on the govt or public charity.

it is crap to use the excuse that people will squander their money away just because a few will and so everyone's money must be locked up.
