D grade lunatic is still crowing about his beautiful armada in the Indian Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. Ya, they used to frighten the shit out of every country, even China at one time. Lunatic Trump is still stuck in an era when the American terrorists ruled the oceans with their aircraft carriers and warships. The Americans used to brag, we fly and sail anywhere we want. Not any more.
China has clinically destroyed the American naval and air supremacy with their supremely accurate anti aircraft carrier missiles. The aircraft carriers and warships have been reduced to bathtubs and sitting ducks, waiting to be sunk. They are now the biggest liabilities of the Americans. Every aircraft carrier sunk is a few thousand American boys and girls gone. Every warship is another few hundred gone. Period.
The same Chinese missiles are now in Iran, including those of the Russians and home made Iranian missiles like the Fattahs. The American generals know what they are up against. Would there be any silly and irresponsible aircraft carrier or warship commanders reckless enough to sail their bathtubs into the Persian Gulf or eastern Mediterranean Sea? Lunatic Trump may order them to do so, but would they be stupid enough to simply obey the order of a D grader and send their men and women to die?
These are not the only weapons that the Iranians are pitching against Trump's beautiful to look at armada. There is a simpler and cheaper weapon that Iran has plenty of to do the necessary damage to the armada. Yes, I am referring to the drones. Iran has tens of thousands of them, and can produce even more. If not enough, China's supply chain will make up for whatever Iran needs. Each of these drones may cost only $10k to $20k and can fly cheaply in the air for extended hours and thousands of miles from Iran, into the Indian Ocean and Mediterranean Sea.
Why are the drones the weapon of choice and matters in this war? Think of the costs of an aircraft carrier, warship and a missile to take down a drone. The aircraft carriers and warships cost billions. An American SAM costs millions. The math will bankrupt the Americans, depleted the warships of all their missiles even before a war starts. And better still, the drones have no fear of being detected, being seen, being shot down. If the Americans need 100 missiles to take down 100 drones, think of the math in dollars. And Iran can send in thousands of drones, 24/7 right into the face of the armada, floating all over them for them to see and to shoot, and to shit on the warships and aircraft carriers... literally inviting the Americans to shoot them down. If they fly high enough to be out of anti aircraft guns and cannon's range, the Americans would have to use more expensive weapons like missiles. The Americans cannot afford to do so for long. Missiles are limited and very expensive.
The Americans may fall back on fighter jets to shoot down drones with machine guns. The question is, how many pilots and fighter jets are needed when the drones are there 24/7? The pilots will wear out, the fighter jets will wear out in no time. Airframes, engines and pilots all have expiry life. The more they used, the faster they wear out.
Drones are rightfully called kamikaze drones. The strategy is so simple and effective. Just swarm the aircraft carriers and warships. Cheap and good and deadly. The drones are going to drive the Americans insane and bleed them dry of everything, weapons, bullets, missiles, aircraft and pilots. This is the new warfare that the Americans have no experience to brag about. This is a warfare that the Americans cannot afford to fight with their over expensive weapons and technology.
Iran should start to fly their drones to the aircraft carriers and warships now to harass them, 24/7. Let the Americans take them down with their expensive weapons. Bleed them dry, wear them down. No need to even have to shoot at the armada. The Americans will run out of bullets and missiles, run out of aircraft, fuel and pilots. They cannot produce enough replacements in time.
