As a country, India is anything but a success. It is still bragging about a 3 trillion plus economy, the fourth or fifth biggest in the world. Spread among 1.4b Indians, this is tiny. Its military weapons are based on what they can buy or pick up from the shelves. Its industry is still mainly agrarian and rustic, no real industrial base. Its automotive industry is only good at building tuk tuk level of transportation. Its missile or rocket technology or space technology is good to travel to the sun. No mobile phone technology, no communication technology to talk about.
India is proud of its IT but mainly in software, not hardware, not chips and not heavy engineering stuff. How good is Indian IT is best seen by the performance of Boeing aircraft and NASA. As a nation state, it has nothing to talk about in this field, nothing that stands out to call its own. Oops, maybe they can brag about call centres.
It is true that Indians have a lot of talented individuals. But these individuals too cannot grow on their own but need a big tree to attach to for them to grow and flourish, like those plants attaching themselves to big trees, sucking the nutrients from the trees to climb higher. They are very successful in this way to shine in many American and western countries, to become CEOs and top management. Other than a few native Indian companies, all the top Indian CEOs are riding on companies and corporations built by others outside India.
In the animal world, the closest specie that resembles the Indians is the cuckoo bird. They laid their eggs in nests built by other birds, kicked out the eggs laid by the other birds, and let the other birds to hatch their eggs, feed and grow to become cuckoo birds, without knowing that the chicks were not their own. Their own eggs already kicked out by the cuckoo birds and perished. In the end, the cuckoo birds own the nests and everything, calling everything their own, without the other birds knowing what had happened.
This is India's strength. The neighbours of India have known this for ages and are all breaking free from India's stranglehold and bullying. India now does not have a neighbour that it can call as friend. All of India's immediate neighbours have joined the Chinese economic train to leapfrog over India, to be free from Indian aggression and bullying.
