When would Singapore get its autonomous driverless taxis?

Adoption of autonomous vehicles is one race Singapore is not keen on winning

Cities such as Guangzhou and San Francisco already have robotaxis and autonomous buses for public use, but Singapore is treading carefully. This deliberate pace is not hesitation but to ensure safety, among other reasons.  CNA

The above headline in CNA seems out of sync with Singapore's number one in everything mindset. Singapore is taking it slowly, deliberately, and not keen on winning, not wanting to be the first in SE Asia or the world to have autonomous driving cars on the road. 

Actually, Singapore has been testing this technology for more than a decade and still testing. On the other hand, autonomous driving taxis have been on the roads for more than a decade in many cities in China. The US also have them on the road in more progressive and modern cities. In other words, the technology is maturing.  And for Singapore to say that it wants to be the first to get it right the first time is a no brainer. China already got it right more than a decade ago. Singapore is too late, behind time.

What is holding Singapore back from wanting to be in the race for smart cities? Is it because the infrastructure is not there, no good 5G network to keep the technology safe on the road? Half baked western 5G network is not good enough for autonomous self driving cars. Period.

What else is holding back? Crowded cities? The cities in China and cities like Austin, Los Angeles, Phoenix and San Francisco are not crowded? Tokyo is not crowded?  Or these cities are not safety conscious, did not care about the safety of their people? What are the among other reasons?

American Inquisition has started by the authoritarian Trump regime

  The authoritarian Trump regime has started an American version of the Spanish Inquisition by attacking the American tertiary learning institutions. Trump is in a way wanting all the American universities to hang his photos in every classroom and lecture hall. He is going to vet and approve the academic staff. He is also going to dictate the student enrolment with the barring of Chinese students top on his list, the banning of Chinese lecturers, researchers and PhD students, in his anti China war.

Many foreign students have their visas terminated and ordered out of the USA for the slightest infringement of American laws like traffic offences and minor indiscretion, or for engaging in student activities and protests, particularly anti Israel and pro Palestinian protests in campus.

The academics and students are now living in fear for being burnt on the stakes at the whims and fancies of the Trump regime and are protesting. The regime is on a witch hunt and acting ruthlessly like religious bigots during the Spanish Inquisition.

This is in addition to the reckless and irresponsible arrest and deportation of immigrants, with many wrongful arrests and deportation to the gulags in El Salvador, guilty without the right to defend themselves in the American courts. No protection of their human rights. The Trump regime does not care. Families were broken up, children deported, bread winners deported, many with no criminal records but mistaken identities. Trump's secret police are no different from the SS of Hitler. No one is safe in America.

America is in chaos, not just because of the trade wars but the Trump Inquisition. The American education industry is going to collapse. No foreign students especially those from China and India would feel safe to want to enroll in American universities. Many foreign academics and professors and researchers would be arrested and imprisoned or force to leave America.

This is what is happening to the evil American Empire, touted as the citadel of democracy, human rights, rules of law country but more like a gangster run mafia Dom. Would the Americans allow mafia chief Trump and his gangsters to take down America or would they rise to take down these hooligans?

Trump versus Modi - The world's two top liars slugging it out

Trump's delusional comments trying to claim credit for the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, by claiming the use of trade measures, has been slammed by the Indians. The Indian Government, not mentioning Modi by name, dismantled Trump's claim, saying that there was nothing about Trump's claim of involvement in or on trade was ever discussed leading to the truce. It was all happening in Trump's mind, trying to claim credit where credit is not due. How he could lie in front of a global audience is really mind boggling. Modi meanwhile is not trying to overstep Trump to claim credit for the truce by coming out personally to comment on Trump's hijacking of his claim to fame, for bringing about the truce that he himself desperately needs to elevate his ego. That shows how Trump has really trampled him into a flat pancake, even ignoring his attempt to salvage his tanking ego.

Trump is probably and desperately trying to influence and garner support and credit to claim the Nobel Peace Prize, looking at what he is doing, but totally failing to settle the war in Ukraine within 24 hours, and now trying to salvage credit over the India/Pakistan conflict. Trump believes in the warped mental state of his mind that the world would just swallow all the lies that comes out of his mouth. Trump even claims he singlehandedly averted a 'bad nuclear war' between India and Pakistan. What is the difference between a 'bad nuclear war' and a 'good nuclear war' in Trump's sick mind is difficult to comprehend. And Trump was gloating about all this in front of an audience during his trip to the Middle East.

The U.S. is the Satan behind all the brutall wars in the last Eighty Years since the end of Second World in 1945.

All the wars in the last eighty years since the end of the Second World War in 1945 were started and created by the United States with the support and connivance of the European countries to hold the whole world under white rule and bondage headed by the Americans. For the last few hundred years the United States was able to bully and attack small countries or big but weak countries  with much success. But with the end of the 20th Century and the beginning of the 21st Century and the rise and renaissance of China as well as the rise of Russia as great super powers in grand alliance the warmongering United States found head winds in its path for world hegemony.

Thus come what come may the United  States must put down Russia and China first before it can achieve total control of the whole world under its hegemony. However, it dare not take on Russia or China alone by itself. So being capricious it adopts a policy of demonizing Russia and China and inciting other countries to go against Russia and China through deception and subterfuge. In the early years of the 20th century it had some success as seen in the wars it created in Southern Europe, Korea, Middle East, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Chechnia in Central Asia of Russia and in Latin America. In the mid 1950s and early 1960s US and UK goaded Nehru's India to go against China and stealthily supplied India with large quantities of the latest modern weapons of the time which resulted in bolstering India's daring in encroaching on China's land in Tibet that culminated in the India-China border war of 1962. However, the war resulted in the trouncing defeat of the Indian army. Just as in the Korean War the US made use of South Korea and many other countries as proxies to fight against North Korea and China so likewise the cunning US made use of India to fight against China. Now the US is trying to incite the recalcitrant Japanese and the comatoes numbskull Filippinos of Marcos Jr to go to war against China as its proxies.

The poor Indians under Modi have no clue as to the sudden visit of Vance - US Vice President. Vance came to India with evil intention and a hidden agenda. If he had good intention he would never appear. To quote a Chinese saying, "Lai Cher Pu Shan - Shan Cher Pu Lai" meaning the visiting messenger has no good intention while the messenger with goodwill will never come".

So the evil U.S. had planned ahead its diabolical plot to make use of India to start its next round of proxy war against China. It had secretly made use of its well trained terrorists and saboteurs to spring a sudden stealthy attack on the Indians in Kashmir. Then behind the scenes U.S had hypocritically warned India of impending attack by Pakistan and the unsuspecting Indians really and stupidly believed so when the American trained terrorists carried out the attack.

Fortunately the resulting aerial battle was a devasting defeat to the Indian airforce. Had the Indians been successful in defeating Pakistan the demonic United States would have planned the next step to encourage India to take on China as it quietly whispered to the Indians that China had a hand in helping Pakistan attack on India. The U.S. would then wickedly incite and instigate India to invade China's border lands in South Western China of Xinjiang and Southern part of Xi Zhang or Tibet, falsely but psychologically assuring of  the Indian superior airforce.

The trouncing disasrous defeat  of the Indian airforce against Pakistan was a slap in the face for U.S. The saving face ceasefire imposed by the Anglo-Saxon Americans is a saving grace for the Indians from being psychoed by the U.S. to start another India-China border war and thus save the Indians from further shame and defeat .

However  the Anglo-Saxons American false ego of its racial primacy and superiority and its disgusting claim of exceptionalism will not stop its objective of securing world hegemony. In the meantime it will pause and take stock of its debacles before continuing its diabolical plot of achieving world hegemony through wars and violence and through deceptions and subterfuge by whatever means. 

The free world and all countries of the South of the non-white world must learn a lesson from native Americans warning that " White men speak with fork tongues and can never be trusted". How can the white men, the European countries, the Anglo-Saxons Americans and England which in the last over 500 years  had subjected all countries of the South to brutal invasions and atrocities and are continuing to do so now can ever be trusted. They are now trying to dominate the world again through hybrid colonialism and imperialism in the form of  ideological, political, economic, financial, trade and commercial control in addition to their  military adventures and violent wars. 

So countries of the South and the free world wake up and unite in solidarity to ward off the danger from white men and the Anglo-Saxon Americans and England.

Paris Air Show 16-22 June - J10 C, the Rafale Killer would be the star of the show

 The Paris Air Show was meant to be the showcase for the French Rafales to the world. For decades, French fighter jets, from the Mirage to the Rafales have been the star of the show. This time, the Rafales would have to move aside for the first Chinese export version fighter jet, the J10 C.

The J10 C is now dubbed as the Rafale Killer after its success in the India Pakistan War, knocking down not one but three in one go, and later another one to make it 4 kills. In addition, the J10 C also shot down a SU 30 and a MiG 29 for dessert. The world is in shock. How could this be? Some western analysts were in praise of the feat, but some are asking for more proof, more confirmation. How many more proof and confirmation is needed to confirm that this is not fluke?  How many occasions are there, how many wars are there, to shoot down 5 aircraft in an air battle and 3 Rafales in a row? Not good enough?

On the other hand, how many enemy aircraft have the Rafales shot down to be acknowledged as Europe's best fighter jet? Bombing herdsmen in Afghanistan and tribesmen in Africa is nothing to crow about. What about the F22? Oh, its greatest feat was to shoot down an air balloon in close range, with 3 missiles. And that is the self proclaimed world best fighter jet until the Americans quietly gave up on this aircraft, stopping production altogether with fake excuses of cost.

The F35 is ranked 7, several notches below the Rafales at number 3. Thus, the F35 is not going to be a match for the J10 C.

It was reported that the J10 C stall was located at a different level and in a corner in this Paris Air Show. The main showroom on the ground floor would be filled by the Rafales and American aircraft. Europe only has a couple of antiques other than the Rafales to exhibit. Given the western biased reports and narratives, China thinks rightly that there is no need to pay too much for a prominent stall in the main floor. A small stall in a corner on another floor would do. The decision was made before this India Pakistan spectacle.

China would not only show off the J10 C, but also the new star, the FL15 air to air missiles that brought down the Rafales. This little China stall on the second floor, away from the main showroom, is going to be the star attraction of the Paris Air Show. This is where the crowds would be heading. This is where the serious buyers of fighter jets and air weapon systems would be seen. This stall would steal the visitors from the main showroom. There will be long queues to see the J10 C, the FL15, the ZDK 03 AWAC and other Chinese weapons.

It would be interesting if China were to put up a big banner, Rafale Killer, over its stall.
