CNA spreading to North America - good news, can hire more angmohs

It is good news that CNA is spreading its coverage to North America, another English speaking world. Viewership sure to go up if the hillbillies got tired of CNN, NBC, MSN etc etc and their fake news and disinformation. Caveat, hillbillies have their own preferred taste. They only want to read or hear news from white men telling how great they are and how many wars they are winning. They would not want to read what Tan Ah Teck or Ah Teck Tan writes, not even Danson Tan would appeal to their taste.

So this is great opportunity for CNA to hire more angmohs. Hiring angmohs to write and report on Asian affairs looks and sounds ridiculous to start with but over time they would slowly takeover the writing, angmohs writing about Asian affairs from angmoh's perspective and interests.  Oh, it goes against the grain of CNA to have news reported by the respective locals. Hiring angmohs to write about angmoh affairs, perfect match. Now CNA would have legitimate grounds to hire more angmohs to give it the angmoh flavour. If can't hire enough angmohs, can hire coloured angmohs also not bad an option.

If still cannot hire angmohs and coloured angmohs, offer more carrots like promotions and heading the various departments, chief editors, CEOs, would do the trick. After all, daft Singaporeans would not be good enough to fill the top positions, especially when their experiences are in writing about pets, hawkers, disappearing trades, cooks etc etc.

With more angmohs and coloured angmohs aka foreign talents, CNA would look more international and the standard and quality must definitely be better than having just daft Singaporeans. Daft Singaporeans can continue to report and write on what they know best, which hawker or hawker centre is the best, what pets to keep, which old shopkeeper or hawker retiring etc etc. The angmohs and coloured angmohs can cover the high brow and serious stuff. that no Singaporean is good enough to do.

Americans did not trust Japan and South Korea as they are not whites

 Conventional wisdom will tell us how the USA treats allies. There is big difference in how the USA treats White allies and other allies.

Australia is an ally of the USA, just like Japan and South Korea. But the USA trust Australia by giving Australia nuclear submarines. It is a clear case of nuclear proliferation, as simple as that. But why not extend such benefits to South Korea and Japan? The USA does not trust Japan or South Korea because of their skin color. And despite the Philippine bending over backwards to afford the USA more military space, it is not getting nuclear submarines. Why?

Israel is an ally of the USA. Israel just admitted having nukes, allowed to possess by the USA or given by the USA. But why isn't the same benefit given to allies like Japan and South Korea? Because the USA does not trust Japan and South Korea at all but trust the Israelis because they are also Whites.

American dumb hillbillies keep bitching about China

 The Chinese should tell that Tom Cotton guy to 'shake Chinese spears' instead of studying 'Shakespeare'. This is the same guy that cannot even differentiate between a CCP member and a Singapore citizen. He does not even know the graduate situation inside India and wants to talk about recruiting Indian students to study science in the USA. Just cannot understand why he is fond of talking nonsense and making a fool of himself. As they say, no one will say he is stupid if he just keeps his mouth shut.

Chinese universities have better courses in humanities than the USA to speak of. How old are the Chinese classics? Ancient China already had imperial examinations on humanities rather than science, to choose leaders to govern the country. What can a few centuries of USA history teach the Chinese, with more than five thousand years of history, about diplomatic behavior? Kurt Campbell is another moron that still thinks Chinese students should just enroll in USA universities to study cooking and how to wash clothes?

After getting all the Chinese students to fill their top universities and reaping all the monetary benefits over the decades, they are now talking cock and singing songs. Who wants to study 'Shakespeare' going all the way to the USA and paying an arm and a leg to get such a degree? With all these morons leading the country, the USA does not really need enemies.

After decades of free loading on cheap Chinese products, they are now talking about China stealing their jobs, fueling overcapacity, cannot trade with friends, must follow their script and all kinds of nonsense.

Suffice to say, even without the USA now keeping Chinese students out, Chinese students are already avoiding the USA, benefitting other destinations like Australia and turning to local universities that are rising up the ranks to give a better, cheaper and safer education.

The USA has no more bargaining chips and is resorting to using illogical arguments to keep China down. This is not going to work out. It is too late for such hubris to work. As what Russia is saying, the USA is just shooting at the wind. Devoid of targets, the USA is just shooting at imaginary targets.

US and EU fighting the EV war they cannot win

 The EU is committing Hara Kiri. In another sense the USA is doing mercy killing or committing Euthanasia against the EU. But never mind, it is all legal among close allies. No harm done!

No one wins in a trade war. Only Donald Trump, in his warp mind, thinks that trade wars are easy to win. Has the USA really won yet after so many years? In spite of the trade war, China is chalking up even bigger trade surplus with the USA. To indicate any semblance of winning, the trade balance should tilt the other way. But that has not happened, and it tells us the true story.

When Trump gets his second term, he is going to make USA even greater again. Already he promised 100% tariffs against Chinese EVs. Amidst all this hype up action, Chinese EV manufacturers appear set to ditch the USA, EU and Canada EV market altogether. On the other hand, China is set to impose retaliating tariffs on the EU cars, with an ultimatum that those EU tariffs be removed by July 4th in the run up to talks.

The situation smells trouble for USA and EU carmakers. While Chinese EV makers can always migrate from markets in USA and the EU to the much bigger Global South market to mitigate their losses, this is not possible for USA and EU carmakers in a Global South market they cannot compete.

Will that entail the USA passing laws or signing executive orders to prevent the sale of Chinese EVs in the Global South as well? The USA seems to believe that it can unilaterally enact laws that other countries must follow. Countries in the Global South will give the USA their middle fingers. The Africans will be the first to do that.

Ugly US racism in display by the D grader hillbillies in Washington

 Ugly US racism displayed as US Deputy Secretary of State says Chinese should not be allowed to study sciences

Kurt Campbell, the US Deputy Secretary of State claimed on Monday that the US should welcome more students from China, but to study humanities rather than sciences. He said that international students studying sciences can be recruited from India, "an increasingly important US security partner."

In recent months, the US has been harassing Chinese students studying in the US under the pretext of national security, especially those in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields such as artificial intelligence, information science, cybersecurity, electrical and software engineering and electronic information engineering.

Campbell's remarks directly indicate that the US does not welcome Chinese STEM students; if Chinese students come, they can only study humanities.

Why humanities not sciences? It's perhaps because studying humanities may help facilitate Western cultural "penetration" into China.

As early as April 2020, racist anti-Chinese US Senator Tom Cotton stated that Chinese students should not be allowed to study sciences in US colleges and universities and that they should only learn about Shakespeare.

If China is not military strong, the Americans would have de-humanize the Chinese and slaughter the Chinese like the way genocidal Israelis are currently murdering the Palestinians!
