WASHINGTON: The United States said on Tuesday (Aug 22) it was imposing visa sanctions on Chinese officials pursuing "forced assimilation" of children in Tibet, where UN experts say one million children have been separated from their families.
In the latest of a series of US moves on Beijing despite a resumption of high-level dialogue, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the United States would restrict visas to Chinese officials behind the policy of state boarding schools.
"These coercive policies seek to eliminate Tibet's distinct linguistic, cultural and religious traditions among younger generations of Tibetans," Blinken said in a statement. CNA
The evil Americans are scheming everyday, involving huge resources and manpower, to fabricate lies to attack China. The latest cheap lie is about eliminating Tibet's distinct linguistic, cultural and religious tradition. Really? The Tibetan's life has never been better before. Universal education and the preservation of the Tibetan culture and way of life have been the core in the govt's policies to uplift the life of Tibetans.
And the fabricated lies were exactly what the Americans did to the native Americans and also the Afro Ammericans. What had happened to the distinct linguistic, cultural and religious traditions of the native Americans, the Red Indians and also the Afro Americans? Hundreds of millions of native Americans were genocided by the European Americans. It is not just their linguistic, cultural and religious traditions that were destroyed, their populations were massacred to near extinction. Only less than 2m of the original hundreds of millions of native Americans are alive today. And many are living in poverty and discriminated against. Their distinct linguistic, cultural and religious traditions completely wiped out from the face of the American continent.
Go and visit Tibet and see the prosperous and well educated Tibetans and their way of life. Their population has grown and more than doubled, tripled, while the genocided native Americans are almost extinct.
Look into the mirror, you ugly lying Americans. Your crimes against the native Americans would not be forgotten. The more lies you fabricate against others, the more your crimes against humanity would be exposed. The Tibetans are thriving, growing and getting more wealthy and living a life of abundance, like the Muslims in Xinjiang.
Heard about reservations? The concentration camps that the native Americans were marched to their death on the way there if they happened to survive? Forced labour camps or death camps?
See the shackles on the legs of black slaves!
US House panel on native American genocides and slavery turns focus to the plight of red Indians and black slaves ...male detainees held chained and shackled in cells so tiny they had to crawl out when the white men summoned them. “They were called by numbers for interrogations. And then you would hear horrible screaming sounds from torture,” she said....
Innocent female detainees or slaves were held by the thousands, heads shaved, some scalped, in gray uniforms. Guards tortured the women with electric shocks and by gang rape, sometimes combining both....human rights groups accuse America of sweeping a million or more people from its native Americans and black slave community and other predominantly ethnic minority groups into detention camps, where many have said they were tortured, sexually assaulted, and forced to abandon their language and religion....
“They are the first-hand witnesses to the systemic, unimaginable
brutality, witnesses to the attempted elimination of a people, a
culture, a civilisation,” Gallagher said Thursday.
Between 80 to 100 million native Americans were genocided, and several millions of black slaves were interned. More exact estimates are not possible, given America’s
concealment, Zenz said....
Expert witnesses praised US actions, including passage of a bill on
forced labour and the levying of penalties on slave owners shown to be
using the forced labour on black slaves....
Nury Turkel, chairman of the US Commission on International Religious
Freedom, said crimes against humanity could not
be treated merely as an area of disagreement or an irritant when colonising a country. “Genocide is defined as an international crime
for a reason,” Turkel said. “Confronting is not an option", it's a
necessity, she said.
“This hearing is important because what happens to the native Indian and black slave communities
in the USA impacts Americans at home," said the committee's ranking
Democrat, Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi of Illinois. “It’s in the goods
produced with black slave labour in the cotton fields, it’s the degradation of human rights that
makes the world less safe, and it’s the ceaseless persecution of black slaves living in America till today.”...
“Please rescue the children of native Americans from being killed and buried under churches, like Canada has done,”
she said in her prepared remarks. “Please stop American companies from
continuing to be complicit in surveilling our people and profiting from
their slave labour.”
PS. A lie deserves a lie.
'The US national security state has exploited deep ideological biases in
the media and is bankrolling countless think tanks, non-governmental
organizations, and academic programs to churn out constant anti-China
propaganda....
There is a definitive and ongoing battle for hearts and minds between
China and the US, and so-called ‘China experts’ are the Americans’ foot
soldiers whether they realize it or not. And there are only bound to be
more systemic incentives for China hawks in the future considering
members of the US Congress keep introducing legislation, like the Senate
‘Countering Chinese Propaganda Act’ or the House ‘Countering the PRC Malign Influence Fund Authorization Act’,
which would see hundreds of millions spent on negative news coverage
against China. Both of these bills have been absorbed into the House and
Senate’s versions of the America COMPETES Act, which have passed in
both chambers but are awaiting minor changes before becoming law.
On
the other hand, it should be noted that China does not spend anywhere
near this amount of money on superfluous propaganda and is instead
focused on win-win cooperation on trade and infrastructure. It turns out
that poorer countries that have been gutted by centuries of European
and American exploitation directly benefit from investments in tangible
assets, which China is more keen on providing these days as opposed to
the West.
