India declares it is the first to roll out 5G and now going for 6G

Seems India is now the superpower in everything under the sun according to Modi's hallucination. Bragging is cheap, achieving what is being bragged about is difficult.

5G in 700 districts and the 'fastest country' to rolling it out, and already getting ready for 6G? Wow, that was quick thinking fast forward. Not an Indian trait for sure! How big an area is 700 districts and already gloating about getting ready for 6G?. Oh, he was just bragging about the 6G task force only. Needs more than that to pull one up on the Chinese.

We know Indians love to boast, decades ahead of reality, but are well known for being slow in implementation. It boggles the mind that Modi is already boasting about 6G. Modi can boast about what is not easily apparent like 5G or 6G, but just take High Speed Rail, which can be clearly seen, for example. A decade of boasting with just tens of kilometres completed to show, while China already had tens of thousands of kilometres of High Speed Rails. When fully completed, Modi will have another bragging right to add to his rhetorics.

Digital India for others to follow? My toes laughed uncontrollably. Anyway, this certainly rivals Biden's boast about his digital transformation of Africa with US$350 million. Biden suffers from dementia and he probably does not realise how big a continent is Africa. What can US$7 million do for each African country is probably not even enough to pay for diging holes to install the pylons for installation of signal transmission equipment. Both are just farting through their mouths, just gaslighting without knowing it.

China's De-Dollarization Accelerates

China's De-Dollarization Accelerates as Its US Treasury Holdings Tumbles to 14-Year Low

China's holdings of U.S. Treasury securities fell to US$835.4 billion in June - its lowest since May 2009 - from US$846.7 billion the previous month, according to latest data released by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

The data came ahead of the upcoming BRICS 2023 summit scheduled to be held in South Africa from August 22 to 24.

BRICS, an emerging-market group that includes Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, renders a powerful force in propelling the de-dollarization process.

The BRICS members have been striving to settle more trade in their own currencies over recent years as part of broader efforts to gain economic clout and counterbalance the hegemony of the US dollar.

Singapore's inventory of U.S. Treasury debt dropped US$15.1 billion to an 8-month low of US$187.1 billion in June, from US$202.3 billion in May, as concerns prevail over the US' ability to repay its ever-ballooning national debt, which has already mushroomed alarmingly to nearly US$33 trillion.

White men still want to enslave Africa

In other words printing all that fiat money isn't going to Africa to buy those resources anymore. China and Russia are replacing them and the Anglo Saxon Whites are desperately trying to stage a return to colonialise the continent. What happens in Niger and the stance of the USA and France comes to mind.

Too bad the Africans have already seen the benefits of dealing with China and Russia, and they have certainly not forgotten the earlier help that China and Russia gave them to fight colonialism over the decades, unlike some ingrates in Asia. Moreover, those airports, ports, reservoirs, railway lines, roads and joint ventures of mutual benefit have opened the eyes of the Africans and make them realise who they can bet on.

Many African countries already took US$ loans from China, from China's trade surpluses, for development, in return for China being given the rights to extract and share the benefits of Africa's resources with the Africans, with the loans repayable in Yuan. It is no longer one sided daylight theft of Africa's resources by the Anglo Saxon White clique, with nothing to show for all those years of colonial rule and plunder.

In return for getting those resources almost free or on the cheap, the Whites have resorted to enslaving them with IMF or World Bank loans, thereby keeping them suppressed, even creating conflicts to keep them perennially impoverished, and instigating internal unrest to prevent them from rising out of poverty. They also funded opposition forces to create unrest to destablise legitimate Governments, who do not follow their dictates, and supported
Dictators who tow their line and follow their agenda, to allow them to steal their resources, giving huge kickbacks to benefit those Dictators of course.

Latin America is exploring a common currency. BRICS is also exploring a common currency for members to conduct trade within the common region, just like the EU, outside the US$. African countries are still not that united, with Dictators still not on board for such an arrangement, but should do the same when the time comes. Outside of BRICS, China, Russia and Iran among others are already doing major deals in their own currencies, and ditching the US$. Saudi Arabia holds the key, and if it joins the BRICS and sells oil to China in Yuan, it will be the last nail in the coffin for the US$ hegemony. That is why the USA is desperately trying to coerce Saudi Arabia with concessions to sabotage the move.

Africa is resource rich and does not need to go begging for charity

Africa is a huge continent and blessed with abundant natural resources. Why then is Africa so poor and has to go around begging for charity, for aids, for infrastructure to be built for free? Or worse, to beg western countries, IMF and World Bank for loans at high interest rates with strings attached to tie them for good, to be poor for centuries? Has Africa learn anything after being looted and deprived of development for ages while depending on western so called aids and loans? Why are these aids and loans not turning Africa into more developed states, economically viable nation states? Why are the western countries, with the natural resources of Africa, getting richer and richer, but Africa getting poorer and poorer despite all the natural resources...loaded to taken to western countries?

The centuries of colonialism, a 4 letter word, have impoverished Africa till today, taking all the resources for free and moving them to Europe and America, and still with many African heads of states and even the population blindly allowing themselves to be controlled by the West and still grateful to the West, and still believing in their lies that China and Russia are the enemies of Africa and the West are the good guys, the caregivers and protectors of Africa and Africans. Fortunately, the Africans have removed their blinkers and know who have been robbing them and making them poor and keeping them poor with so called aids and loans.

For centuries, the West have monopolised and controlled the trade of natural resources in Africa. They were the sole buyers and dictate the prices of the raw materials. If the West refused to buy from African states, the raw material and resources would be laid to waste, like dirt. No takers and no buyers. And the Africans have to beg the West to buy their natural resources at dirt low prices. It is all about supply and demand after the end of free goodies with the end of colonialism. Still, the West determine the demand and the Africans did not have any option.

The picture has changed. China is now a big buyer, not a colonial master. China is in Africa to buy African resources and produce at a mutually agreed price, as an alternative buyer to the West. The West has to compete to buy the resources and material. The law of supply and demand comes into play and a more decent price can be negotiated on an equal terms, with seller and buyer making the best of the deal.

The nationalist leaders of Africa have been thumping their chests that they are not beggars. This is true and real. But they must be practical businessmen, to put up their resources to sell to the highest bidders. All the natural resources of Africa are money, if they can find the buyers. There is thus no need to beg for freebies. This leads to the next narrative, Africa has pride and would not want to beg or need to beg. The simple solution, convert the natural resources to money.

The whole African continent is money. The Africans must be smart to manage and to trade or exchange their resources for money for the good of their countries and people. Do not go begging for alms or for freebies and not to return anything in kind. Nobody owes Africa a living. Be proud, barter trade is honest trade. Trading natural resources for money or infrastructure is fair game, fair trading practices, not the same as looting under the colonial masters. Africa can afford to pay for all the infrastructure with African money, ie natural resources. Do not be conned by the West that China is stealing African resources. China is buying African resources with tangible assets, infrastructure or just money. The ones that stole from Africa were the colonial masters. They stole everything without paying a single cent. The Africans must be clear in what is fair trade and what is robbery by the West.

The West is spreading the lie that African leaders are stupid and cannot negotiate fair trade deals with China and China is stealing natural resources from Africa. Is this true? Ask the West how much they have stolen from Africa over the centuries during colonial conquest and rules? Ask the West to repay their debt to Africa, to return the loot they plundered from Africa. China does not take anything from Africa for free. China is not a colonial master in Africa cheating and stealing from Africa. The African leaders would not allow it. The world would not allow it. Colonialism is not China's cup of tea. It is free trade and free exchange.

The West can keep on telling their white men's lies. The Africans are smart enough to know the truth. All the raw material and natural resources are money, the wealth of Africa. Trade and use them wisely to benefit the people of Africa. It is not a shame to sell natural resources. They are money if there are buyers, but dirt if no buyers. Australia is selling millions of tonnes of its iron ore, coal, oil etc etc to China. Why is is wrong for Africa to sell its resources to China? The West would want Africa to keep all its natural resources in Africa, as dirt, not to be converted to money. Maybe they would return to take them for free under Neo Colonialism.

High cost of living - Seniors and retirees suffering in silence

The way things are increasing in price in Red Dot is quite astounding. I am a retiree and there is pressure for me, as cost of living is rising really fast. But since HDB flats are said to be also affordable, what can I say?

A loaf of bread just went up by 20 cents from S$2.30 to S$2.50. This is not the first increase. It is another 10% increase. Inflation is said to be just around 4.5%, believe it or not? S$2.50 is still affordable they will tell us. Another 1% GST increase is coming and God knows what will be the result for us grassroot poor. A cup of kopi-O now cost S$1.30. It is atrocious. But if you complain they will scoff at you and denigrate you, saying if you cannot afford it, don't drink. This is the reality in Red Dot today. Of course there are places to find cheaper kopi-O, but transport is not free and it becomes penny wise pound foolish 'tua gong' to follow the good advice.

Just read about all the complaints being aired on social media, mostly about food prices that are now on another planet. Just a day or two ago, there was even a complaint about a haircut costing S$20, when the display on the shop front was clearly advertising a haircut for S$10. The customer really suffered a rude shock when asked to pay S$20, after it was revealed that the S$10 haircut was only for members, but never highlighted. Some commented that the customer should have asked the price first. Why is there a need to ask when the S$10 haircut offer was displayed right outside the shop? This is now the reality in Red Dot as well. Customers beware or buyers beware has now been taken to a whole new level. Forget about the prices displayed.
