Okinawans fighting for their lives and the occupation of their island by Japan and the Americans

Thousands of Japanese protesters assembled near Kadena Air Base in Okinawa to protest the US occupation of the island on Saturday, on the 51st anniversary of the island returning to Japanese control....

Chanting slogans including “Give us back our peaceful life” and “Osprey get out,” the latter being a reference to US military helicopters, the demonstrators demanded the closure of the US’ Okinawa bases. The island’s inhabitants are weary of the pollution – both chemical and aural – produced by Washington’s military outposts, as well as the high number of crimes committed by American servicemembers, from petty theft and drunk driving to rape and murder.

Governor Denny Tamaki has urged the Japanese and US governments to reduce the Pentagon’s footprint on the island, which hosts 70% of all US military facilities in Japan despite comprising just 1% of the country’s total land area.  RT

The Okinawans are fighting for the return of their island from American and Japanese occupation. They are angry that they are put into such a precarious position, to be the first target of China's missile attack should a war breaks out between China and the US. The Americans have placed many strategic and nuclear weapons on the island and China must destroy everything on the island in the first hour of a war.  To do so, China must unleash the most destructive weapons it has to prevent the Americans from launching attacks from Okinawa. Okinawa therefore must be totally destroyed as the American bases are all over the island.

The Japanese govt did not care as the Okinawans are not Japanese and sacrificing the Okinawans is just a convenient military strategy. In a way, it would be better to wipe out the Okinawans and replace them with Japanese in the island eventually.  So, having Okinawa as a strategic target would not pull on the conscience of the Japanese. Ethnically, the Okinawans are a small minority, an expendable item.

The Okinawans are in a position like 'you die your business', as long as the main islands of Japan are safe, the majority of the Japanese are safe.

If Japan were still the ruler of Taiwan, then Taiwan would be the first choice, ahead of the Okinawans, to be offered to the Americans as a military base. It would be even easier to sacrifice the Taiwanese than Okinawans. Unfortunately Taiwan has been returned to China and is a part of China. The Japanese has no say in offering Taiwan to the Americans.

Good luck, Okinawans. The Okinawans are in the lowest rung of the Japanese pecking order.

Economic coercion? Who is coercing who? Lying Europeans deserved to have their economies destroyed by the Americans

Now it seems the doggies, taking a leaf from the USA, are also lying through their teeth. The EU had, and is now reassessing their earlier accusation of China of 'economic coercion' against the EU and wants to move away from being too dependent on China. Just weeks ago, they were talking about not being able to de-couple from China economically and now suddenly an about turn in their thinking. They think China is not aware of them just playing a game and that they are totally under USA control?

I am really surprise that such an accusation can come out of the dirty mouths of absolute hypocrites aka EU leaders, knowing they themselves are the main perpetrators of 'economic coercion' against China and Russia, by ganging up with the USA.

What are the sanctions that they now imposed on Russia for? Tens of thousands in fact. Did not Biden gloated about collapsing the Russian economy and Ruble? Attempting to collapse the Russian economy is not 'economic coercion'? Call a pile of poo by any other name and it smells just as bad.

What about the sanctions against Huawei and other Chinese tech giants for? Those are not 'economic coercion' to force them out of the USA and Europe as they were cannibalising the Western mobile phone manufacturer's business? And these same doggies even followed the USA in sanctioning Huawei, for no other reason than just dogs obeying their master's command.

What also are the Chip4 Alliance for? Just holding a party of 'Fish and Chips' among those involved? If that is not also 'economic coercion' to force China from progressing, what is it for? And what did the EU countries like the Netherlands do? They cannot and would not sell DUV machines to China, while other Chip manufacturers are forced to end high end chip sales to China.

ASML is now trying to fool China by agreeing to sell only the low end 28nm EUV machines, hoping that China would again fall into their trap of relying on them for their chip making machines. China has already developed its own 28nm chip machines and will not be fooled.

And not to forget Trump's easy to win trade war against China a couple of years ago. That really made America Great again, I am sure. The only great was the bigger balance of trade deficit vis a vis China. But isn't that trade war an 'economic coercion' against China. China did not start the trade war. USA did.

The EU can think of cutting dependence on China, but they first have to think of how to deal with the energy problem. Can they produce things able to compete with China in price with the kind of price they are paying for energy? They better think about what they wish for.

US Presidency - Between dementia and a deranged pussy grabber as the best man

How not to be sick when a clearly dementia patient is touted as the best they have in the Democrat's camp for the President's job? It boggles the mind.

On the other side, a six time bankrupt is also considered the most worthy candidate come 2024. How did he managed to chalk up six bankruptcies is beyond belief, and yet believing in him the voters do. How much did he lie, cheat and steal to reach such a record number of failures is beyond belief.

While those who are given the mandate to rule are basically clowns, those who elected them are incurably stupid. But they have little choice, being given the worse human specimen on the plate for them to choose.

And to think that they would never give Robert Kennedy Jr any chance of getting up there tells us how sick the system is. They prefer to choose mentally deranged politicians to be President, not giving really capable and outstanding candidates any chance to take over.

On the other side, Trump is not much better and has been classifed as deranged in many instances and a proven sex lunatic. Does his 'Grab that Pussy' quote ring a bell?

That as it may be, how to expect them to even put credible stooges in power in countries that they succeeded in ousting the legitimate Government, other then putting stooges aka clowns like Zelenskyy into power?

No inflation or little inflation in Singapore?

 The Americans are very worried about the inflation hitting them and Jerome Powell is doing his best with tough decisions to raise interest rates. He is even willing to take the collapse of weaker banks as collaterals to this high interest rate policy to rein in inflation.

In Singapore, it is like there is no inflation or no one is interested about this story. Either there is no inflation or inflation is manageable. Even if COE prices have hit more than $100,000, it seems that all is fine. Even if rentals is now a hot topic for the foreigners working here, it is like nothing.

These two items alone, especially COEs, would have very serious implications on the cost of livings as transportation and supply chain will affect businesses in many ways. Even small businesses and hawkers are affected by high transportation cost. The repair men would now charge a basic $50 to make a house call for repair jobs. All the items in the kopitiams are now priced much higher than before. So were the basic necessities in the supermarkets.

Well, is it all silence on the western front or eastern front? All the hikes in fees, road gantries, etc etc do not affect the average Singaporeans? By the look of things, it must be, that the average Singaporeans are coping very well with the inflation or no inflation. Life is going on as if nothing has changed.

Must give credit to the govt for managing the situation so well. No complaints means no problem ie no inflation. Maybe the people have switched from eating fish to eating prawns. No fish, prawns also can do.

As for foreigners renting a room, they can also down grade to HDB flats just like Singaporeans downgrading from land properties to condos, from condos to HDBs, from bigger HDBs to smaller HDBs. There are still rooms for adjustment to stay well and good.

How can people be so dumb to believe in fake news and western propaganda?

 I just realised, foolishly admitting, that Canada used 'forced sterlisation' on Native American Indian women to stop them from reproducing in earlier years. They really tried to commit genocide against coloured people without batting an eye. Fancy trying to accuse China of doing the same vile stuff that they did in Xinjiang. That is why Putin said that whatever the USA or the West accused others of doing, they have done it before. But they really have no moral compass to look at themselves in the mirror first, before accusing others.

As former Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis, at a question and answer session, at the 'Cambridge Forum' I believe, told one anti-China White Woman in the face by telling her that China is more humane than the West, and that China had more moral motives in Africa helping the Africans to progress and develop infrastructures than the Whites. She was completely dumbfounded. She had obviously been totally brainwashed by the USA Government and MSM, and find it difficult to reconcile her anti-China ingrained thinking with the truth.

At the same time, I also want to touch on Donald Trump's just concluded CNN Town Hall interview session which had been vigorously discussed on social media and termed as a positive win for Trump going into 2024, with the other side, of course, slamming Trump to the ground. One portion of the interview centres on the Ukraine War and how he would end it if he is re-elected. His answer that he could end the war within 24 hours is a joke at best. Trying to get an audience with Putin, and then Zelenskyy, and the negotiating process is going to take more than 24 hours and his supporters literally got carried away with his answer. Sometimes, looking at the USA Congress and senators standing up and clapping and cheering gives me goosebumps. What are they cheering and clapping about? Herd mentality at best.

Donald Trump is a prolific salesman and that we must admit. He can promise the moon and the stars, lure the birds to come down from the trees, but can he deliver what he promised. Just look at his attempt to get Kim Jong Un to denuclearise. How long did he took to do that, and what was the result? 24 hours my foot? Then look at the trade war, which he gloated as being 'easy to win'. Did he win after more than four long years? Both total failures. Now Biden takes over and is using hardball tactics to win, with no ability to take on the challenges.

I cannot see the wisdom of having these two dinosaurs making the USA a better country. On the contrary, the reverse is the case. Mired in personal attacks, creating more enemies and losing more influence by the day, how is that ever going to MAGA? More like Make Africa Great Again.
